Okay, so, I've gotten the whole spiel about other worlds, the cities, blah blah blah. I just have three questions.

First off, does the name Sparda mean anything to anyone here? Usually when weird shit happens to me, it's usually tied back to him.

Second, how high in demand are a Demon Hunter's skills here?

And lastly, I'm gonna need a good pizza joint's address. Preferably one with a bar.

[Dante will be just wandering around Genessia, probably turning a few heads with the massive sword and handguns holstered in plain sight. He has no destination and as such is just aimlessly exploring, looking for landmarks to help get a feel for the layout of this strange new place.]

Demon hunters ought to be prized pretty highly in Everglade; rife with them, at times. Oh, spare Vyers though. I already claimed his hide some time ago.

I'll have to check it out then. See if there's any big game that catches my eye. ...Pardon the comment but you hardly look the part of a demon hunter, and demons that give their name freely aren't to be underestimated.

The requirements to be a demon hunter are fairly easy to come by. Something pointy will do it. But, if you want to survive, you'll usually need to invest in some Devil Arms or at the very least some high-end firepower.

When the last civilian storms off, Liam overheard Dante's message and slowly glanced over in the direction of the wandering man. He couldn't help but wince a little. A demon hunter, and one giving off some real off putting energy. He'll keep his cool though, shuffling the deck of cards in his hands.]

I doubt we really need a demon hunter. Everglade's full of monsters, but they're relatively under control as it is.

And yet, two people have already told me that's where I should be hunting. Sounds like someone doesn't want me finding something.

[Speaking of turning heads, a passing cyborg happens to be one of those people. Wherever he was aimlessly heading to, he'd forgotten about it and was completely distracted by Dante, letting out an impressed whistle.]

I'm not sure what's more impressive. Those weapons or that awesome coat.

[Dante just laughs, pulling Ebony and Ivory out of their holsters, spinning them on his fingers and striking a dramatic pose.]

They're all impressive, and part of the whole package.

[Karla will be taking a stride through Genessia City herself. She has to admit that the man with the bright red jacket and large sword does stand out among the crowd. She hasn't seen him before, so she's guessing that he's new. She approaches him, her own sword sheathed at her hip.]

I happen to work at a bar; it's in Fayren. However, the best pizza place is in Genessia. I can show you of course you have to like New York slice pizza. [Which is the best pizza in the world.]

Also Demon Hunters skills might be useful in Everglade or Fayren... though Fayren has more monsters and looping back to your first question: No. Sparda isn't here. Our resident Demon goes by the name Dracula I believe? I haven't really spoken with him.

You have no idea how delicious that sounds right about now. This is the first time someone's suggested Fayren as a hunting ground though.

Yeah, Sparda doesn't seem to be a factor here... which only makes this place seem weirder, but in a good way. It's kinda nice to have a mystery that doesn't connect back to him.

[With Genessia being the hub that connects all the archways and its subarchways, Ivina is spending more time searching every nook and cranny of this city more than the others. Besides Fayren and Everglade having horrible city planning and maintenance that breaks her heart. She has seen Dante's video to the network, and while he seemed relatively laid-back, having a demon hunter around has the possibility of ruining her plans. She does hate people who hunt supernatural beings for a living when she can't control them.

But she didn't respond to it. She didn't feel the need to. So Ivina could only groan in her mind once she actually sees him show up at one of the better maintained Irish pubs in Genessia. She had it all to herself until he showed up. Once Dante enters, her eyes furrowed at him while she takes a drink of her gin tonic.]

Ah, it's you, the hunter.

[Ivina gently sets her glass down with poise, then crossing her legs as she observes him from where she sat.]

Come to rid this establishment of its demons? There are nothing but good spirits here, I'm afraid.

[She grins, referring to the bar's shelf of good drink choices. It is why she chose this place besides how well maintained it was.]

[Dante takes a minute to ogle size up Ivinia with a smirk on his face as he takes a seat next to her and orders a whiskey.]

Nah, I'm on my day off, though this wouldn't be the first bar I cleaned out. You wouldn't believe how many dive bars in my world are run by demons.

[He shrugs, turning to face Ivinia.]

Fun fact: nine out of ten people that go home with someone they met at a bar in my world are going home with a demon. Keeps me in business.

[Dante arches an eyebrow at the woman. There's... something off about her scent, but it's not demonic so he doesn't bother bringing it up.]

Tools of the trade. Demons aren't exactly bite-sized, so it always pays off to have a little something to help cut them down to size.

Koishi had been following Dante for awhile. Her ribs still hurt but damned if she was going to miss a new arrival. She wasn't trying to hide, but she also wasn't trying to get him to notice her. If he spotted her that was fine and if he didn't? Well, that was fine too.

At least... that's what she thought at first. Koishi was inching closer and closer, tilting her head and leaning in and examining Ivory before drifting up and examining Rebellion, and then down to Ebony.

Koishi. Keep your hands to yourself...

Dante had this sneaking suspicion that he was being watched. He didn't pay too much attention to it at first but when his other senses began picking up something nearby he couldn't help but think he was being followed. However as Koishi neared Ebony, his hand shot back, grabbing Ivory and spinning on the spot, aiming at his stalker.

...Or at least where he thought she was. Turns out he was a good three feet off. Of course once he got a look at Koishi he sighed and replaced the gun in its holster.

"Y'know, you really shouldn't sneak up on people like that, kid."

[Aurora had felt like being her sickingly goodie two shoes persona today so not to draw any suspicion that might fall on her for things people might soon find out and had been working as a cashier in that time.

But that time was over and she had been walking home for the day. With a few more steps she soon found herself stopping. That guy most certainly stood out and his weapons were...interesting to say the least.]

I am actually. See, when you're as perfect a specimen as I am, then just being me makes everyone uncomfortable. But if I appear to be compensating for a small dick, then at least guys can tell themselves they're superior to me in that way at least.

As for a Demon Hunter... I assume you aren't referring to Devil Slayer magic. As far as I am aware, the worst of the demons are gone, and the rest have been relatively well-behaved. Our main problems, aside from the fissure, are a group of anti-magic radicals, and an insane vampire who is angry over an unfavorable election result.

Magic? Nah, I've never been good with magic. My brother though? He could skewer a legion of demons on ghostly swords without moving a muscle. Me, I'm just an old fashioned sword 'n' guns kind of guy.

I tend to stay out of politics so I'll avoid the radicals and vampires are just small fry. Best to let someone else deal with that.

I don't own a pizzeria, but I suppose Ryo and I could experiment. You just have to be open minded and brutally honest about whose is better tasting. We own a restaurant and we take challenges.
