WHERE: The Castle Royale Hotel, Genessia City.

The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Pink hearts and other decorations were tastefully hung and placed all over the place to help people get into that romantic type of mood. It took quite a while to decorate it all, but it would take less time to get it all down once the event was over.

Just approaching the hotel, you would be able to hear the sound of music faintly playing. The event would have been awkward if there wasn’t any DJ at all to play music to get people in the dancing sort of mood. The DJ has their little area set up so he could entertain the guests with various genres of music. Some slow, some fast, some in-between. But the one thing it has in common is it is all something you can dance to.

The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start.

Don't bid more in the auction than your character would plausibly have. For instance, if they don't have a job, they can't bid 10,000 redbills. Bidding should be done within their actual means.

It's fine. It was going to happen eventually. [Either Blake left or he left, one of the options was bound to happen. It just this time it was Blake that left. Again. It hurt more this time, though.

He takes another sip of wine.]

Yes, it was going to happen eventually, but don't act like I don't know that it's not fine. I'm well aware that it doesn't matter how many times you've prepared for it, so at least don't lie to me.

[ Weiss straightens herself in her chair. She.. might as well just stay with him for now. She's worried. ] I'm not going to tell you to stop drinking, just slow down a little and don't drink alone.

Okay, I might not be fine right now. But I will be. Eventually. [Life couldn't do anything but go on when someone left here. Sun didn't want to mope. He wanted to move beyond it. But it wasn't like that was the easiest thing to do.]

I'm not, really. There are people around. And you are right here. So. [He takes a sip.]

[ Weiss watches him for a moment, then sighs. ]

Just so we're clear, I'm trying to comfort you, I'm just not very good at it. And we should probably go somewhere other than a Valentine's Day themed event if you don't want to make things worse. We're both over 18, we can just go to an actual bar if you want to get drunk.

[ Because the legal age is only 21 in America, not everywhere else.. ]

You're up for auction and it's February. It's not like there is anyway to escape the Valentine's Theme. [And it wasn't making him feel any worse, really. He wasn't jealous of people for finding and having love.]

I'm up for auction because Jaune wants to prove that he's okay with being just friends really badly, not because I want to be.

[ She quiets down for a moment, trying to think. The best thing that she can think of is something they can't do right now. 90% because Sun is already drunk. ]

Tomorrow, we're going to climb the Tokyo Tower again and have lunch up there and then stay up there until someone threatens to call the police.

[She probably could have got her name removed if she really wanted to. She was a Guardian and all. Even with as much alcohol as he had, he still could recall his Tokyo memories fondly. It felt like a simpler time back them, honestly. No drama or broken hearts among other things.]

Can I safely go up there with a hangover?

[whiteas]

We can go in the afternoon. It'll be a late lunch.

[ That was why she'd thought of it. The last place they'd gone together before Blake or Zuko or any of the things that would end up hurting them, even though it was a time when it was just the two of them there trying to escape from non-stop recovery efforts after Lucifer's attacks. It was before either of them were in love and that honestly just made it a happy memory. It was the best thing Weiss could think of to try to cheer him up. ]

Or evening, if you don't feel better by lunch. The sunset is probably really nice up there.

It would feel nice to do something different. [And just to get out in general. He'd mostly thrown himself into his work aside from slowly packing up Blake's things. Doing something other than that, reliving some happy memories..that was probably exactly what he needed.]

Then it's settled. I'll call in to work tomorrow. Want me to do that for you so you don't say anything weird while you're drunk?

That's okay. My employees have their lists, so I should be good to go.

[whiteas]

Okay. Promise me you'll drink plenty of water to go with your wine so you aren't knocked out for the whole day.

[monkeystowaway]

[He doesn't really want to, because that sort of clarity might give him time to focus on what is making him sad. But he also didn't want to miss their trip tomorrow.]

I promise. After I finish this glass, I'll drink two cups of water.

[whiteas]

Thanks. I'll.. [ She's trying to think. ]

I'll try to get Team JNPR out of the house in the morning so you can sleep in.

[ They're noisy. ]

Thanks. I really owe you one, Weiss. [Because she honestly didn't have to look after him like she was doing. That wasn't lost on him.]

No you don't. We're friends.

[monkeystowaway]

[He'd probably give you a hug if they weren't in public. And if she wasn't weird about PDA sometimes. So he just gives a little nod instead.] Okay. Do you want to go there together or do you want to meet me there?

[whiteas]

We can go together. I'd rather make sure you're actually awake before leaving and ending up sitting there alone anyway.

[ She thinks for a moment. ] I'll make fruit salad, too.

[ They both like fruit and fruit salad is essentially impossible to screw up even for someone who isn't the world's greatest chef. ]

[Even Sun with his nonexistent cooking skills could manage at least a fruit salad.] Alright. Then I'll have to get up a little earlier than I was planning.

You're that excited about fruit salad?

[ She was going to make lunch so he didn't have to get up earlier! ]

How long have you known me, Weiss? [He's asking because the answer to her question should have been obvious after known him for a month.]

[whiteas]

You get to eat the fruit salad either way and it'll soak up the yogurt better if you don't eat it immediately!

[ God, Sun, you're going to ruin her fruit salad with your sticky fruit fingers.. ]

It better actually make it up the tower.

[Sun doesn't think he really needs the yogurt. He'd just be happy with a bunch of fruit.]

I can't climb and eat it. [Said with disappointment.]

We ate at the top last time. If you can control yourself, we can do the same.

[ She's going to make a decoy bowl, for sure. ]

[God, Weiss. He's not a child..but that's not a bad idea either.]

We didn't have fruit last time.
