Valentine's Auction & Party!

WHERE: The Castle Royale Hotel, Genessia City.
WARNINGS: None.

The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Pink hearts and other decorations were tastefully hung and placed all over the place to help people get into that romantic type of mood. It took quite a while to decorate it all, but it would take less time to get it all down once the event was over.

Just approaching the hotel, you would be able to hear the sound of music faintly playing. The event would have been awkward if there wasn’t any DJ at all to play music to get people in the dancing sort of mood. The DJ has their little area set up so he could entertain the guests with various genres of music. Some slow, some fast, some in-between. But the one thing it has in common is it is all something you can dance to.

The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start.

Don't bid more in the auction than your character would plausibly have. For instance, if they don't have a job, they can't bid 10,000 redbills. Bidding should be done within their actual means.

[Levy smiles as she steps up next to Zeref. Her eyes however are currently looking over at Mavis who's smiling and laughing. She doesn't have many memories of the first but it's good to see her in such high spirits.]

Are you enjoying yourself?

[She knows that Zeref isn't a 'nice guy' back in Earth-land but its very hard to believe that seeing him here and with Mavis.]

{ The voice addressing him shook him out of his daydream. He turned to face Levy; he barely recognized her in the green dress, at first. He'd heard that she was a part of the date auction. He wouldn't be surprised if the bid for her turned out to be very, very high.

He slowly nodded, glancing towards Mavis, following Levy's eyes. }

I am. I don't usually come to events like this, but... I did, this time.

You seem to be having fun.

[Levy's bid isn't going to be as high as others and she's not happy about taking part but she isn't about to back down now.]

You could say that.

{ It sounded odd to him. 'Having fun.' True, he was here with Mavis, and the fact that he was even on a date with her at all was bittersweet, considering what happened in their own world. There was nobody else he'd rather be with than here; indeed, there was nobody else he'd consider being here with. But, well, he never did well in crowds, for obvious reasons. If there was anybody in the world who could make him more comfortable in such a situation, however, it was Mavis Vermillion. }

[She can’t say that she’s been very lucky when it comes to this holiday or what it means. Levy isn’t sure she’ll ever feel something like though there are people she might see herself liking. She doesn’t think love is so simple, it’s just something that happens when you least expect it.]

I like dancing.

[She smiles nodding towards the dance floor.]

So there is always that.

It's... Not something I do often.

{ That was an understatement. He could likely count on one hand all the times he's done it over the course of his four-centuries-plus lifespan, and at least one of those times was done here, at the last party, again with Mavis as his date.

Zeref reached down for his glass of wine, and took a sip. It's... Not bad. Actually tasted a bit like the wine from Alvarez's coastal regions. }

I've seen Lucy here, and Mavis was the one who brought me, here. Did you see anybody else from Fairy Tail?

[Levy shakes her head.]

Not yet but I'm sure we'll see them around.

[Everyone's been doing their own thing lately.]

I have to head to the auction soon.

I wish you luck with that, then. I was lucky enough to have Mavis win me last year, and not for a lack of competition.
