[ She waves, giving a brief smile. ] I'm Yuri, or Yurippe, but if you try to come up with another nickname for me I'm not going to respond to it since one weird nickname I'm already used to is enough. I just got here and I want to be a kindergarten teacher. [ She's got experience with schools and kids. Not necessarily teaching kids, but it can't be that hard. ] I impersonated a teacher once, I've spent more time in a school than anyone I've ever met, and am older than I look. They're not going to turn me down are they?

Do people end up here if they think really hard about moving to a foreign country and can't decide which one they want a lot?

Like really weird, I stopped thinking about it because I was stuck there for so long, but now that I'm thinking about it again it was definitely odd.

I don't know this world enough to say anything yet.

Aside from my... experience with a giant monster, I could say the same. Though this world does lack one thing that the previous world I was in had. A way to contain my magic.

That is why I rarely go into the city. I can't needlessly place others at risk like that.

We'll have to find a way then. I can't have you living under some mountain off and away from everyone else. You don't seem like a bad guy, you should get to enjoy the sun.

[ 'Not a bad guy...' Zeref frowns at that line. He was responsible, both directly and indirectly, for what has to be millions of deaths by now once you count the cults ad worshipers that killed in his name, as well as the havoc his demons still cause, even now. ]

Technically, I did enjoy the sun. The place where I chose to live for a while had a very pleasant climate.

[ Once you get passed the giant monsters and occasional tropical storm. ]

Not anymore.

Where do you live now? That sounds pretty good if you gave up a a nice deserted island.

Just outside of the city.

Do you have a house or are you eternally camping?

[deathsought]

I don't.

So I can come find you and I wouldn't be breaking and entering.

That's not a good idea.

I built a battlefront and tried to wage war on God. Ideas aren't really good or bad to me, I just do whatever I want to do.

[ Well, that was unexpected. But still. ]

[ He can tell she's not going to give up on this. She's just like Lucy in that sense, but at least in Exsilium he had a way to contain his magic, even if it was far from perfect. ]

I will tell you what. If you can find a way to keep my magic under control, I will consider your offer. Is that fair?

Black Arts. Specifically, Death Magic.

What's the source of your power? Where does it come from? How does it work?

[deathsought]

From my own body. However... my ability to control this magic is dependent upon how much I value the lives of others.

[tenminutes]

So if you don't give a crap about someone you might accidentally kill them? Or is it really bad and it depends on if you care about someone, you're less able to control it?

The more I value life, the less I can control my magic.

[tenminutes]

That's just not fair.
