Has anyone ever given up a memory of someone special and have them turn up later on? I found that happened to me recently and now I feel awful about it.

I feel like I hurt them so much by not being able to recognize them, yet can remember everything we did together. Because of this I don't know what to do. So I was wondering if anyone ever had such a thing happen how do you handle it?

Can things still be the same or will it forever be different?

I know you don't, Aibou. I'm not saying that you should be how I was, when you first solved the puzzle. But there's nothing wrong in learning how to defend yourself or your friends, and it would be at a least resort.

[He felt a little awkward, turning his head to look away. He knew Atem would more than likely figure it out or bug him at a later date and he knew very well he knew him best. Moving a hand to rub the back of his neck he wasn't going to look him in the eye as he spoke.]

When I was trying to help fix a problem... I found myself in a place where there was an illusion. In my case it was of someone here and you know me well enough to know I don't like fighting or having to kill. So instead they drowned me because of it.

.... no, you don't. You proved that much to me during our duel with Pandora and your duel with Jounouchi on the docks.

[ And even if Yugi had known it was an illusion at the time, Atem knew him well enough to know that that wouldn't have changed the outcome. ]

I still felt awful about it though. But... Even if I had been capable of, I would have never been able to hurt her both an illusion or in person. But that is over and done with, I won't do a dumb thing like try and help with a dangerous situation again.

He's seen what happens when a friend of your's is in danger, all right? He even counts himself among those who's rescue you've rushed to. ]

[He was probably right. He probably would do it again sooner or later. Atem knew him way to well to hide things. They knew each other too well. However Yugi can't help but smile.]

To be honest, I'm surprised neither of us have gray hairs.
