[Video/Action] Yelling!
[The video feed starts up to show a blurry green tube of a finger with more shades of green to either side. Peridot's voice is muffled by her clumsy grip on the videophone but she is clearly yelling.]
Stupid, stupid communicator... thing! Rargh! Why can't I be somewhere that makes sense?! Ugh, fine! Here-
[The video feed turns even more green and zooms a few feet away from scowling Gem, held up by a beam coming out of her stumpy 'palm.' Somehow she already looks worse for wear, missing one foot of her limb enhancers, a smudge of dirt on her visor, and triangular hair a mess.]
Grrr, okay! This thing works right? Not well enough to contact Yellow Diamond- [grumble] -but someone can hear me right?! Ugh, I hate this cruddy old tech. I need to find a way to contact Homeworld! I am not getting stuck on another backwater planet! This one better not be about to explode.
There has to be another Gem here, a warp pad, something! If you Crystal Clods are here you better leave me alone! I'll- I'll blast you to dust if you don't! Urgggh, that would be my luck. I bet those- those idiotic clods are behind this. First they stranded me on Earth and now I'm stranded here! None of this makes sense, what's currency? What's a child?!
Rargh!
[Peridot's agitated flailing breaks the beam holding the videophone and it lands on the grass, face down. The screen is dark for several seconds while Peridot can be heard ranting above. When she picks the phone back up, she's realized how to hold it without obscuring the camera and looks more sullen than enraged.]
Ahem. I am Peridot and I demand someone tell me how to get off this horrible- er, uh, whatever! This planet, I want to get out of here!
[Action] -- chose a location
Peridot can be found limping around, alternating between yelling at harmless objects, hiding from things like rain and loud noises, and pouting. Often she has a floating green screen up to rant at. It appears she is having a very drawn out and very mobile temper tantrum. Her attempts to find a way off Genessia or figure out things like street signs and organic life are not going well.
Beware flailing metal limbs and hurled objects when she's ranting and stomping about.

"Ahem, I am, er, grateful that you removed that thing," she said with a nervous look at Mewtwo. "And I, uh, I would like to be going now. Before it touches me again."
Short of flying, however, she was going nowhere fast and wasn't even sure she could leave this bubble-shield thing.

Once Koishi's tendrils began to retreat, Mewtwo lowered the shield while keeping an eye on Koishi to make sure she didn't latch on to the newcomer again.
"I apologize for that. Koishi means well but has little concept of personal space."
He floats down from where he was hovering to be a bit more polite, as it occurred to him belatedly it was rude to make people look up at him. ...For some reason.
"You may call me Mewtwo, and this - as she said - is Koishi Komeiji."
no subject
Why wouldn't she stop talking?
"And where would you be going? I can help you. You're such a wonderful shade of green and have such great angles. I can show you all the best places around here. There's so many different places to see and things to do and-"
Why wouldn't she stop talking?!
no subject
"Ehhh?" She was a true master with words. "I'm not going anywhere I'm just here! Ah! What do you want and what is a Koishi?"
She gave Mewtwo a pleading look. Why won't it stop talking?
no subject
Mewtwo sighs, reaching out and attempting to get a grip on the back of Koishi's shirt with his poor excuse for fingers and tries to tug her back away from the scared newcomer.
"Koishi, focus. Calm down and focus. You're scaring her."
no subject
She stopped. The word "focus" seemed to strike a chord with the little youkai, even if Mewtwo's grabbing did little to restrain her. She does stop her squirming, tilting her head back in the air and reaching forward, poking his nose with one finger.
"Beep"
Making full use of the cunning and flawless distraction, Koishi slipped free, darting forward again and leaning into Peridot's space. She didn't touch this time though.
"You're not a human though like most of the others. You have a unique presence and mind. It's wooly but soft and sharp and jagged with facets. I really like it!"
no subject
"Facets...? Do you know what a Gem is?" There was still the nasally haughtiness in Peridot's voice but she was actually curious. "I don't know what either of you are. I know what humans are, I know what a Steven is, but you're both different."
no subject
Mewtwo scrunched his nose at the poking, but that wasn't why she was able to get free. An immunity to his psychic abilities, and finger balls made it very hard to hold on to the wiggly youkai.
"You will have to excuse Koishi's rather... odd manner of speech. She speaks in metaphors most of the time. To answer your question, I am what is known as a Pokemon. I have powers and abilities that far surpass those of humans. Koishi is a youkai, but I will let her explain what that means."
no subject
"And I know what gems are! A precious or semiprecious mineral, generally with a crystalline structure that is often cut and polished and valued for its beauty." Before Peridot could respond she pointed to the three diamond-shaped buttons on her shirt. "These are blue moonstones. I really really like them."
no subject
"Ahem. So, one of your is a 'Pokemon', something superior to humans, and the other is a 'youkai', maaade by humans? That's confusing." How could humans made anything important? And why were there so many? "It's really confusing that you're wearing those... Those aren't shards are they? If they are I'm backing away now."
no subject
Mewtwo simply sighs, giving up on restraining Koishi for the moment. So long as the little youkai didn't make contact...
"The relationship between humans and Pokemon is more complex than one being superior than the other based solely on powers. I do not what you mean by 'shards' in this context but I assure you, her buttons are simply decorations that hold no power in themselves."
no subject
"And we aren't MADE by humans really. Moreso we manifest in response to human presence and thought. We're stronger than humans usually too. And we live to oppose them. And we fade if there are no humans. It's a push and pull."
