[So Ace got wopped in the mouth by a newspaper crashing through the window. He has to find that news coo so he can tip him because what great service! He gets to be the first one to read it even around the damp sections.

But he also found something that could not be borne.

A Puppy Prison.

Who would do such a horrible thing?

Well whoever would do it, Ace wouldn't tolerate it.

He takes some time to strategize, and then around 1pm, sends this video out to everyone]

Puppies were meant to be free! I won't let anyone hold them hostage under my watch! No matter what they've done!

[and he throws back his head and howls, a few of the dogs howling with him, before the jail break commences.

How about we actually see how they are being treated and kept before making that kind of decision? For all you know, they could be treated very well there before finding homes and having families of their own.

They should be free.

Free to spend their nights out in the cold with no idea when they will have food or water or any kind of play next and always fighting to simply live.

Ace, I know you mean well, but dogs like this need a place to be able to stay comfortably in order to be happy. They are too domestic to be completely free like this.

That's why I'm finding a place to hide them. [do you think he's careless?]

[yes, all of them. There's only about a hundred which is about as many in his division. So he's good]

Ace, there had to be at least fifty dogs that ran by even before your own group. I sincerely doubt you can take care of every last one by yourself.

[ Sighing. She'll just nab her newspaper back to see if she can try and convince Ace that no taking all of the dogs from the shelter is a bad idea, or that at least that taking them back is a decent one. ]

If you are really that worried, they might let you come in to play with the dogs or something like that. It isn't unusual for places like this to look for people to do that.

She is really starting to question her choice in friends

Ace is not surfing this time but running faster to keep up with the waterfall of canines]

[ Don't worry, the adrenaline will kick in and she'll start enjoying it a little as well.

It's mostly stupid and extremely scary.

She'd probably be a total roller coaster junkie though. ]

[it takes Ace a moment to realize there is a panicked sausage vendor tearing away from them at top speed with sausages trailing behind him like joined trails of deliciousness]

Smoker! Take point! [Adela, he means, as he leaps over her chair and runs on ahead with the pack to snag one of those sausages himself]

PORTGAS PAY FOR THE SAUSAGES!

[He does grab the wheelchair, markedly more carefully, but he's tempted to swoop up Ace and dogs in smoke if he needs to protect the sausage vendor and his wares.]

[ At least he didn't ditch her in the water this time.

Adela can't help yelping at the momentary loss of control before Smoker has the chair again, prompting her to sigh with relief before she just stares after Ace.

She has to sigh, resting her head in her palm. ]

Really, Ace...?

At least he hasn't fallen asleep in the middle of the street with a sausage half hanging out of his mouth.

He also buys some for Smoker and Adela too while the biggest string he's wrapped twice around his neck and is sucking on like candy.

He wades back through the excited dogs and holds out two steaming sausages inna bun, grinning happily]

She can't help laughing when he comes back, shaking her head and taking the offered food. ]
