1st Arte: [Video/Action]
Fayren Area
Jade arrived via the bay a few days ago. He taken up temporary residence at a local inn in Fayren. While his dislocation from his world is disorienting, he researched the library, scrolled through the network on his phone, asked important questions here and there for the answers.
Pretty much the colonel had done his homework as he researched the necessary information to his satisfaction. For now, he dines at a café for lunch, and it is time to introduce himself to the video feed:
"Good afternoon, citizens of Genessia. My, my what a very quaint world this! I am charmed by each and every one of you. The residents here have been very kind to me, as they explained everything to me. So if you like to introduce yourself, there's no need to orient me as I gotten much of everything down on my own. I'm quite a scientist myself, you see! *a laugh here*
Allow me to introduce myself: I am Colonel Jade Curtiss in the Third Division of the Malkuth Military at your service. I served the Emperor in the kingdom of Malkuth, and he happens to be good friend of mine. I wondered if anyone has seen Emperor Peony? If not, that's all right. I supposed he's back home, well protected. A little vacation away from the kingdom wouldn't hurt.
Pardon my semantics, as the definition of magic here differs from my world. I'm a spearman of the spear and a magic-user, though in my world, we call our magic techniques fonic artes. Fon being the basic element particle of my world, my planet of Auldrant.
That being said, I can cast my artes, my spells, with the following elements: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Dark, and Light. That's six elements we have. The 7th being Sound, but that element in my world is unstable and cannot be used by me.
The archways is the most fascinating fon...oh excuse me, that's magi-technology. I wonder what fuels them? Well, better to see that such technology aid the people!
Until then, you have a good day everyone, and if you're a magic-user yourself, why not come by and see me and you show me your techniques and I'll show you mine?"

{ Of course, other beings are capable of using magic besides humans, but that would make this conversation go on for hours, as much as Zeref was enjoying it so far. }
I see... { Not exactly like Alvarez, but close. } In my world, mages typically belong to organizations called 'guilds.' Guilds allow everyone from private citizens to governments to hire them to perform tasks ranging from collecting bounties to finding rare artifacts. The Alvarez Empire was founded when many of these guilds, including dark guilds - crime syndicates, more or less - united to overthrow the Alakitasian Magic Council and rule for themselves. It now controls nearly the entire continent of Alakitasia, and is considered the most powerful nation on the planet, both militarily and economically.
Peace never lasts for long, in my world. I've lived long enough to know that human nature demands otherwise.

How wonderful! It's nice for me to learn about other worlds with magic, so I can compare and contrast to mine. Though it seems your world has a slightly more developed political system.
Compared to mine, there was complication concerning an unstable element called Lorelei, the element of sound. It was an unstable element that threaten to collapsed my planet. But that problem was resolved, though it was a long journey for me and my friends to solve it and save the planet from further destruction.
However, when I arrived here and talked to everyone, Genessia doesn't have that problem. No unstable elements as I far as I can see, until further investigation.

{ Or at least, that's what Alvarez believes, thanks in no small part to his own propaganda. What he actually believes is a bit more complicated than that. }
I will admit, I never thought Sound Magic could be so dangerous. It exists in my world, but it's hardly thought to be a potential cause of the apocalypse.
