Alternatively, does anybody know how to convince a cat not to claw out your roommate's eyes?

I found Fest in the streets of Everyglade by pure chance but I don't recommend you that option.

There's an animal shelter that holds animals from all 5 cities in Genessia City. If a cat is not your things they also have rabbits, hamsters, dogs and others things. I talked to them when I got Fest, they're very nice.
