Sonico Searching [video and action]

*For the first time in a long time, Sonico finally appears on screen. The bruising on her cheeks has mostly gone, and the cut on the lip is now only a small red line. She bows deeply on the screen and appears very serious in her approach*

I would like to say thank you, very much, deeply, from the bottom of my heart, towards those of you who cared for me and supported me while I was unwell. I am on the mend, and I appreciate all of your good thoughts.

I may still not be able to return to my usual work for some time...thanks to my injuries...but I would like to extend an open invitation for those who would like singing lessons. Please be in touch.

Finally, Sonico feels able to leave her apartment. She is dressed differently from usual, however, in a long sleeved cardigan and a skirt that reaches down to her ankles - the best way to hide all her scars.  She appears to be slinking through the parks and wooded areas of town, apparently on a Pokemon hunt, her own in tow.

[audio for nightmares - late at night/early morning]

*The voice broadcasting is a shaky and timid whisper, clearly a girl in distress*

Is anyone...awake? I could use someone to talk to...

[Zigzagoon had wanted to go outside and wouldn't stop trying to crawl all over Celia until she gave in and let it out with specific instructions for it to stay near her. It appears to be following these instructions without any problem or protests right now, probably because she promised to play with it later if it behaved.

Soon enough, as a part of this particular outing, Sonico finds Zigzagoon (or rather, it finds her), but it's also almost immediately obvious that it isn't wild, as Celia is following it from not very far away.

It stares up at Sonico and barks. Hi!]

*Sonico notices the little pokemon approach and she stops, looking down at the creature with a smile. Meanwhile, her Litten realises that Sonico isn't paying attention to him anymore, so it scuttles on over and tries to bark back at the other creature*

Hello, little fuzzy guy.

*Sonico kneels slowly and extends a hand out to the stranger's pokemon*

[Zigzagoon doesn't seem too bothered by how Litten wants Sonico's attention back already. In fact, it tilts its head back down and barks out a separate greeting for the little cat, which gives Celia the time needed to catch up.

By the time Celia's there, Zigzagoon's attention is back on Sonico as she reaches out, and it rears up to throw both front paws into her hand, tail wagging away at probably sixty miles per hour.]

Y'might wanna be careful, he likes climbin' up on people. [At least it's not trying. Not yet.]

[ He hasn't responded to her public messages, shying away from someone who needs comfort when he has little to give. But that desperate message is one he can't ignore. ]

Sonico? This is Cassian. I'm awake.

*Sonico doesn't know him very well, but she certainly appreciates hearing someone respond to her*

Are you usually awake at this time?

[There's a moment of silence, some rustling.]

If you want to talk about your nightmare I'll listen. Or you could tell me if you got any Pokemon.

The voice that replied was perhaps not one that was expected considering how busy the maid generally was all day.

"Sonico? What in the world are you doing up at this hour? Are you okay?"

She sounded very awake.

*Sonico really sounded quite unsure of what was going on*

[Kobato had just been laying on the floor, she had been pondering on what exactly to do work wise and her time being here was slowly running out. It was enough for her to be unable to sleep.

So hearing the device she shifted herself slightly, so she could see before replying.]

Miss... Are you okay? Are you hurt? Do you need something?

[Clearly they need help and Kobato thinks she can do the job... More so if their heart is in need of healing.]

I know we don't know each other, but I thought I would ask.

No, that isn't quite true. I was hurt very badly, but I am healing. Slowly.

[ Mariko saw Sonico's video and didn't think much of it. She didn't know what this girl is grateful for, and why she's offering singing lessons. Though the latter topic was something Mariko found curious. Later that day, she even saw Sonico out in Nova City, strolling in the tall grassy areas with some Pokemon in tow, giving Mariko an idea of what the girl was doing. Again though, she didn't pay Sonico any mind.

But late at night, she runs into Sonico once again through the network. Mariko woke up in the middle of the night to get some water, just in time for her to hear Sonico's broadcast. She recognizes the voice from the earlier video, which puzzled Mariko as to why she's even about to respond. ]

Are you sure asking strangers that question, in the middle of the night no less, is a good idea?

[ Mariko sighs, realizing how cynical she might have came across with that question. She has no idea how long Sonico has been here, nor how many friends the other girl has, but Mariko feels like she's in no place to judge ]

Nevermind that, though. You're the girl from earlier, right? I saw your video. What's up?

*Poor Sonico, making announcements on video, wandering aimlessly with her Pokemon, having no real thoughts as to how people might view her or her situation. With that first question, Sonico realises with a pang that maybe she has been too direct*
