Remember the awards I mentioned, well I have some possible awards.

However I am not choosing who gets put on the nominations, that will be down to you. Please note that Best Guardian and Deputy won't need any because everyone who is a Guardian and Deputy is already automatically on the list.

But I do still need nominations for the following:

We will also have a sort of like worst categories to, which will be as follows:

If anyone else has anymore award possibilities they would like to add let me know. But for now have at you with nominations. To note I will be accepting nominations for the next two weeks and nominations will be announced shortly after I close off.

[It was a couple more hours before Krista even turned on the device again, ruffling her hair slightly as she leaned back against her sofa.]

Alright, I should really come out and ask.... More so with something I saw recently, so I gotta ask peoples honest opinions. [She took a small breath for a moment, looking down at the device.]

What do people honestly think about those who choose every aspect of another persons life? I mean like everything? I'm asking for... personal reasons.

[ Dorian is in the process of setting aside a pretty thick book when the video initializes, and he frowns slightly. ]

I think they believe they know what's best, even if they are more mistaken than they could possibly know.

[ And if his expression says anything, it's that Dorian is intimately familiar with the situation. ]

If you hate them, no matter how much you may love them, no one would fault you.

I don't hate them either. They are my mother after all.

[She wasn't sure what she would do to make her hate her.]

Ah, yes. Parents. Ever so certain they know what's best for you, including what path you should take, and each tiny, intricate step along its way.

That's my mother in a nut shell pretty much.

Oh, wow. Guess I'm not the only one who had someone like that. You can never tell what someone goes through on the outside.

Precisely right. Isn't that why we're so particular about the outside? It's ours, what we want it to be, no one else's, no matter what they may have done to the inside.

You mean how we present ourselves to the world?

In a manner of speaking, yes. But I mean specifically, of course, is how we feel, and who we wish to be. For example, I happen to be brilliant, studious, and particular in my preferences of food, wine, and literature. I also enjoy long baths, sandalwood scented oils, and charcoal eyeliner, and so I have those things. They are, in essence, what make me me to me. You see?

I think I get, but I have to ask a question quickly.... Why charcoal eyeliner?

[And he smiles broadly, raising his chin slightly and blinking his charcoal-lined eyes.]

Why, because it makes my eyes seem more vibrant, and I do have beautiful eyes.

I guess it does work for you. It doesn't work for me anyway.

Do you use anything else or is everything else natural?

Only a bit of scented oil in my hair and in the bath.

[He smiles.]

Well, your eyes are rather striking without the aid. Lucky you.

That actually sounds really nice.

I'm just gifted that way, a rare trait. But I do like make up regardless.

[He smiles.] It is. That's why I do it.

[And he nods his agreement.] A gift, indeed, but of course. Who doesn't like to feel pretty?

There are some people in the world who don't like to, or there are some who are just naturally pretty.

Depends on who you meet.

I believe there may be some who pretend no desire for it, certainly.

But how would we know someone is pretending, people put on masks so we can't

[He smiles broadly at that.]

Yes, quite! You know, it's funny you should mention that. There's a nation in my own world who's entire culture is centered around what they call "the game". It's customary to wear masks when attending just about anything, and it's all about seeing who can stab who in the back and get away with it the quickest. The whole lot sound mad, don't they?

That sounds a lot like a murder game or purging or something crazy like that. Not my cup of tea at all. Blood is just really sickening to look at but can't really say why.

Why yes, it is a murder game!

[He pauses.]

You mean to say assassinations aren't common place among the ruling classes in your world?

[And yes, he does actually look confused and a little surprised.]

Oh, they do exist. Murder is a thing that happens on a daily basis. Just not on those who are royal or well off.

Always seems rare, anyway.

Really?

[He pauses.]

...that seems so boring. Why seek to assassinate anyone who isn't in power? Murder, well, that's a different enterprise all-together, now isn't it?

As far as I am aware, but some days I just cannot pay attention to the news.

Love, money, because they are psychopaths who just love to kill people. There are actually a lot of reasons people kill others like friends, family, even complete strangers.

[He nods, following.]

And in those cases, that is murder. Assassination is usually reserved for political advancement.
