Remember the awards I mentioned, well I have some possible awards.

However I am not choosing who gets put on the nominations, that will be down to you. Please note that Best Guardian and Deputy won't need any because everyone who is a Guardian and Deputy is already automatically on the list.

But I do still need nominations for the following:

Alright, I should really come out and ask.... More so with something I saw recently, so I gotta ask peoples honest opinions. [She took a small breath for a moment, looking down at the device.]

What do people honestly think about those who choose every aspect of another persons life? I mean like everything? I'm asking for... personal reasons.

So...if you needed a plan of action in a certain situation, you would be able to do it. That and awesome bodyguard.

This might seem strange again, but...how does that work? I have a hard time doing something like that back home. But then again I hadn't been doing it for long.

[Not since she became the new leader of her group.]

That's what I do, correct.

[No one ever has been so interested in learning about statistical analysis or what Kay could do. It's not a thrilling subject but it's nice to know someone cares enough to ask.]

How come you did that back home? I thought you were more into the arts?

Mostly it works applying algorithms, statistics and mathematical equations to see the underlying patterns and trends. Then employ predictive analytics to run scenarios that will help guide future actions. Do you know what's Data mining? The Key is the extraction of patterns and knowledge from large amounts of data, not the date per se.

In fact, with enough data you could predict the future accurately.

I am, but I was also part of a group that... People would call magical girls. We fight the 'forces of evil' and me as the leader would need to plan and such accordingly.

[She does have to think about it, before shaking her head.]

I don't really know anything about data mining. Also can you really predict the future with enough data.

Magical girl? So you fight demons and the like? As for planning accurately, it can be learn how to do that. Cassian is really good at it, you could ask him to give you some advice.

Not me, my processor is too limited and I don't have yet enough data. But an enough powerful A.I.? It could be possible. I can also be done a small scale by humans, eve if less accurately, if you have a theory and a control group too observe.

Normally corrupt magical girls, but I guess something like demons or the supernatural is meant to be our end goal eventually.

That makes sense, but would be interesting if there was an AI that could.

How does a magical girl get corrupt? Can I ask how this started? Is like a club or a secret society...?

Give it time, technology advances really quickly.

We can't actually figure that one out. We believe that someone or something is doing it, or basic manipulation from sources who are very good at that kind of thing. But we have no proof of that.

How it's started is simple. I was born with the gifts. However I cannot use them until I'm an adult, so usually at least 16 depending on the situation, but usually we have a handle of what we want in life by 18.

I was the special few in America to know what I was doing when I was 16.

That's unfortunate. Perhaps you will, eventually.

And it last forever? Are there magical women? Magical grandmothers? Did they tell you how to use the gifts?

Good for you, that's impressive.

I'm hoping we do someday, it's one of the many things I am curious about.

Sadly, no. It will only last until we have our first child. Then we in a sense retire and lose our magical abilities. For example my mother passed her magical girl abilities to me when she had me. But we didn't get the same type of abilities. But those who were magical girls can teach someone if they want to, or make them live a normal life up to a point.

It's strange and kind of complicated.

But not all women have children. What if you just don't want to have them? Or you can't?

Yes...I can tell.

Then you can carry on, but till would have to retire at a certain age. Basically the ability would die with them.

Which is kind of cruel really. More so as it means numbers go down.

It makes sense that the powers go away if they are passed on by blood. Unfair as it is.

So....plan on having any children soon? [What is being tactful when you are curious?]

Still makes me wonder how the abilities came to be like that in the first place though.

I'm 18, so no. Not for a while.

Who knows If it's very old magic you might never find a proper explanation. Some things just are.

I see. I guess you have plenty of time fi in the future you want to have them. And talking about time, I should start headings to work before I am late.

I'm sure some kept a record or something in the old days. We always find history no matter how old. Just a shame I don't know a historian.

Pretty much but time might just fly by quickly. Also have fun at work.
