It was night-time, and Velvet Lust was open for business. Tannusen could be found either at the bar downstairs, sitting on one of the stools instead of helping pour drinks, or upstairs at that bar trading commentary with the snarky bartender on duty. Either way, he was drinking tea.

B. [OPEN - anyone ICly under-age, or who just wants to]

Day or night, if anyone lingered for long enough just outside of the bar, it was going to eventually draw someone's attention.

C. [LOCKED - Velvet Lust staffers]

Before the bar opened for the night, Tannusen could be found on either floor of the establishment. Stocking things, fixing something, or... even lounging around as a tiger. Staff were always allowed to come and go for several hours before opening time.

Why the hell's that bad news? Shit girl, ain't nothin' t' be 'shamed or feel bad 'bout! Was a damn fine kiss! Hell, a damn fine makeout. Like I'd regret somethin' like that! Thought maybe I's 'bout t' if I pushed y' too far an' y' didn't want it. Mean in yer head, obviously yer body wanted it. But see, that's... a problem I got. Cuz I ain't human, girls get kinda weird 'bout hookin' up with me. So I thought y' was headin' that direction. Not... [He breaks down into another brief laughing fit.] Aw shit. Y' kill me.

*It had taken a lot of effort for Sonico to be honest and brave enough to reveal that to him. In a way, it said a lot about how she felt about him too - that she was happy that she should share her first kiss with him. So his laughter makes her feel a little caught up inside, and at once she gets herself to her feet and grabs the bottle of water, taking a shaky sip*

W-well. I just thought you might want to know and...now you do. So...

*And she takes herself straight to the door to hold it open for him*

Hey, whoa there. That's it? I liked it now be on yer way?

[Namur stands too, but instead of leaving, he picks her up and sets her on a clear spot of the dressing room table, kneeling in front of her so they can be face to face, his arms loosely around her waist.]

Sonico, made me feel giddy as hell jus' now. I's hopin' t' talk t' y' an' say almost the same thing. 'Cept I'd like t' stay a step more'n jus' friends, aye?

*Sonico opens her mouth to protest but can't because she's being picked up off the floor. She blushes at his comments, allowing herself to lift her eyes to his. She blinks in surprise and gapes, then flushes even pinker*

A...step more...?

'Less yer the type that's totally fine with havin' hot makeouts with yer friends, yeah. Don't wanna jus' kiss y' the once an' never do it 'gain. But I don't wantcha t' feel like y' can't flirt with other people, either. So I'unno what y' call that. But it seems like a nice place t' be for right now while yer still sortin' shit out, don'tcha think?

*Sonico nods and smiles - it all made sense, after all. Sure, she didn't know what to call it either, and she wasn't one for flirting, but this works in the mean time*

That sounds pretty good to me. For now, though, can I head back for my last set?

[Namur shakes his head.]

[He holds up a finger.]

*Sonico blinks at his finger, but agrees - he might actually not let her go otherwise*

[He uses that finger to trace along her jawline as he leans in closer, then kisses her firmly.]

Now yer good t' go. Knock 'em head over heels, sweetheart.

*Okay, she doesn't mind waiting for that. It's really rather nice, and that's without the circus making her feel anything. But she does have to make sure she doesn't kiss too firmly that her lipstick is ruined. As it is, when she pulls away she laughs and has to wipe the pink colour from his mouth*
