[When the video clicks on, the first thing anyone can see is a sunny, clear sky and the tops of some buildings. A few strands of brown hair get in front of the screen, and someone who can't be seen curses - more in a surprised way than an angry way, though. A woman.]

Well, I'll be damned. Half expected this thing to just not work.

[The phone tilts abruptly, and a woman's - well, girl's - face comes into view. She's smiling sardonically, though it doesn't really reach her eyes. She has dark brown hair and quite a bit of makeup on, and her expression doesn't seem fazed by where she's suddenly found herself at all. Her tone is light, something like amused.]

So, apparently I'm the newest kidnapping victim! Name's Faith, and I have one very important question for anyone who happens to see this: Where can a girl find a drink around here?

[Yes, she's banking on no one knowing that she's seriously underage where she comes from.]

Faith is keeping an eye on her surroundings, still on high alert - she's in a strange place, and doesn't know why or how she came to be here. Given the fact that her world is populated with vampires and demons, her first reaction to being tapped on the shoulder is to twist away from the touch and turn around, adopting a fighting stance immediately. She doesn't immediately hit, so she sees that it's a girl and relaxes only marginally.

"What the hell," she snaps. "Don't sneak up on people like that."

A small child who was also floating with glowing green eyes and a weird eyeball floating in front of her chest. She absolutely was not human but beyond those features she seemed perfectly normal.

"Oh. I'm sorry." She held up her hands. "I can't really help it when that happens. I'm always unnoticed." She clapped. "I wanted to welcome you though. So welcome!" At least she seemed friendly enough. She was drifting a little closer to Faith, the artery over her left shoulder twisting into a heart.

"You don't have to be so on guard. I'm not going to chase you. Honest."
