[David starts up the video feed. He certainly prepared for this eventuality.]

We have encountered these creatures before a few years back. I created shelters in each city for people to retreat to in the eventuality of another situation like this. There is both magical and technological shielding to help keep the creatures out. The magical shielding was applied by various magic users in their own styles, including former Everglade Guardian Fai. The Genessia City police force is being dispatched to help stem the creatures from getting into the Archways as well as helping Genessia City citizens get to shelters.

[He puts in their location in each city here.]

There is food and supplies and space to house the entire populace of each city.

[The shelters are really that big.]

I would like for anyone that is able to help get people to the shelters if they wish to go as well as stand guard near them to help protect anyone coming in. Fellow Guardians, if you can spare yourself or your people to help with that effort, I would be grateful. Doctors, EMT as well as others that can offer medical help should be going to the shelters as well.

I will be moving through each city and broadcasting this message out with my telepathy to let people know about them, so don't be alarmed if you hear my voice in your head.

[That said, on to information about the creatures.]

Don’t let the creatures touch you, as they drain emotions from you when doing so. It can cause you to turn on your closest friends. These creatures can be dispersed by strong normal means, but they will only return. After their first attack, I had weapons created to help deal with this. If they are dispersed by one of these weapons, they won't return. The ones with the..flowery thing in them are new. So be extra cautious of them.

These weapons have their own drawbacks, however. Creatures from the last time that they were here have been sealed inside of them to give them the ability to banish the creatures for good. We were able to seal some of the creatures inside of sealing stones last time, but getting over run by them is way too easy. I took the creatures sealed in those stones and had them transferred to the weapons.

The weapons, when removed from their sheathes and wielded, have the same affect that the creatures have if they touch you, however it is at a much slower rate. The weapons can be effectively used in combat without much detriment. Though I do advise to only use then for finishing blows.

They have been routinely maintained and stores, so there is no worry about their state. If you want to use one, respond here or contact me directly. These weapons are only being loaned out and will be collected once this is all over. I think it's a good idea not to have these things freely floating around.

I will be going to the Cloister of Trails to see if this can be fixed. The last time there was a breach like this, a handful of people gave up things precious to them to fix it. I doubt it's going to be so easy this time around, because this breach is far worse than that one.

Don’t freak out, you aren’t crazy, you are just hearing my voice. This is David Haller, Guardian of Genessia City. I am projecting my thoughts into your mind. I’m also not reading your mind either, I am just relaying information.

There at shelters for people to take refuge in from these creatures.

[He gives the location for whichever city he is sending this message to at the moment.]

The shelters have been designed to protect against these creatures. It's fully stocked with rations and beds to help wait out this crisis, should you want to go.

Fancy ability you've got here, my friend. [The woman in the videoscreen is frowning slightly even if it only last a second. She understand that the situation is desperate enough to require a quick way to communicate with the whole city but she doesn't enjoy hearing voices inside her mind besides of her own thoughts.]

I can help people get to the shelters, I'm not stranger to either spirits or fights. If you still have some weapons to spare, I'd like to borrow one. So far I've only managed to get the spirits to run away, not to finish any of them.

[He prefers not to intrude on peoples thoughts, but in cases of emergency, he has no problem at all projecting his own to spread word of a situation ASAP. He doesn't look bothered in the slightest by the extra sets of arms.]

Using more than one at once will make the drain happen that much faster. Are you really look to use more than one?

[Understandable, this is a desperate situation. And she's pleased that he doesn't seem bothered at all.]

Ah, no. I only asked for one. Better not hog those, others might need them too.

[Her appearance is far from the strangest appearance that he's ever seen a person with. There is a girl in his world made of living mercury, a guy made completely a rock, a girl that is just a brain inside of a machine and far stranger than that. By his standards, she's normal.]

One it is, then. What type of weapon do you specialize in?

[She woudl really feel at home among mutants, no lie.

Ildikó smiles at the question.] All of them. Okay, perhaps not all...I have no idea how to use guns, those doesn't exist in my world. But anything pointy and sharp is a favorite of mine. That or warhammers.

[She'd honestly be thought to be a mutant the moment people saw her on his world.]

A Jill of all trades, huh? I have an abundance of swords, short and long.

[She woudl happily be an honorary one.]

It's important in my line of work to know how to use any kind of weapon. Pencils count too.

They say size doesn't matter so I think I'll take a medium sized one. A long sword would slow me down.

I've heard tails of people that can defeat entire armies with a pencil. Are you one of those types?

Oh, not sure if I am that strong yet but I am an overachiever and I like a challenge. [She leans closer tot eh camera, smiling. This is a terrible moment to flirt but the world almost ending has never stopped Ildikó before.] What about you, darling? A man who can get into people's head must have more than a few aces up his sleeves, I'm sure.

[Why are you doing this to him, Ildikó? You are far too attractive and he doesn't have time to flirt. But he can't help it.]

Oh? Well I guess you might need to step your game up to get to that level. [He says playfully.] But me? I'll admit, getting inside of people's heads isn't my only trick. Perhaps I can show you some time.

[Because it's in this sort of difficult situations when you get to know people's true colors. And because he's not bad looking himself. Ildikó appreciates a man who knows what he's doing, even if what he's doing is to fight monsters.Especially if what he's doing is to fight monsters, in fact.]

That I can do, I'd hate to disappoint you. [A smirk tugs at the corner of her lips.] Perhaps once all of this is over we can get to know each other a little better.

I can't wait.

[It is kind of refreshing and does help to take his mind off things a little. But not enough so that he can't do his duty.]

I believe that can be arranged. [He definitely does want to learn more about her. Though he switches off the feed now and through a quick few uses of teleportation, he's coming through the Fayren archway in less than a minute with a medium sword in hand for the lovely four armed lady.

Another quick use of teleportation and he appears just a few feet away from her.] I believe you called for a sword?

[He offers the sheathed blade out to her.]

[When he shows up out of the blue, Ildikó isn't startled per se but one of her hands, the one holding a very sharp knife, moves up instantly to block any possible attack. She drops it again once she realizes it's David.]

You are very...quick. I don't usually say that as a compliment, but that was impressive. [Taking the blade with grace, Ildikó smiles.] Thank you.

[He probably should have given more of a warning before suddenly appearing before a four armed woman who can use pretty much any weapon.]

I wouldn't usually take that as a compliment, but I think in this situation I can. That blade should serve you well.

[Yup. Doing it when monsters are invading is also really bad timing. But his answer wins David a smile. ]
