I’m Cassian Andor, new Guardian of Attleton. I would like to inform you that work in the Guardian’s office continues as per usual. I have my Deputies to thank for the smooth transition, and keeping up law and order after Guardian Blaze’s disappearance. His work for Attleton was admirable, and will be remembered.
We are currently working on several projects to improve the safety in Attleton, and will soon go public with further information.
Dante Sparda and David Jordan will continue to serve as Deputies. K-2SO is going to join us. In case anyone is concerned by our close affiliation, it may reassure you he will serve as volunteer.
I’m looking for one more paid Deputy:
- Combat skills required
- Experience in law enforcement or military preferable
- Out-of-town candidates welcome, but expected to move their main place of residence to Attleton
- Pay grade: 3*

What with the whole "former military that was also trained to fight genocidal androids" thing and all

There's a fair number of cheap apartments of decent quality to rent in Attleton, though real estate is cheap enough here that I'd recommend buying with a housemate. We can discuss it further if it comes to that, or you wish to move to Attleton otherwise.
Do you have a problem with robots in general? One of my deputies is a droid, and I won't tolerate prejudices.

The only downside for me is that the only one built in my world was built purely for genocide. But I also have the brain to understand that's just how that particular one was programmed.
I've faced enough prejudices against me for the feathers glued to my head, so as long as nothing tries to kill me, I'm cool with it.

He won't try to kill you unless you give him reason to. Kay is a combat droid, but just like people droids can use their combat skills for good or evil. Sometimes their programming just doesn't give them a choice. Kay gets to choose.
If that is a concern to you, prejudices against non-humans won't be tolerated either. I want Attleton to be safe for every law-abiding citizen.
What technological level of weapons are you familiar with?

I'm not too worried about anything against me. The main lot of people that would take issue with me aren't here. [Which he'd prefer it stay that way. The last thing he wanted to deal with was the imperial prince from his world. Or worse- the prince's butler.
He glances to both sides of him. His dog and Pokemon were far enough away from him, so he activated an intricate beam sword to show it off to Cassian.]
This is the most advanced weapon I've had access to. We haven't quite gotten to the level of laser guns, but I've worked with this, basic military firearms and piloting transforming jets. Not that the latter will be helpful.
[He deactivates the blade then pulls up his jacket's sleeve, showing an intricate looking metal bracer on his arm with glowing blue edges.]
I've also got this! This and the blade give me control of lightning magic. There's an AI in here too but she's napping. So my tech level's kinda varied. We're not quite Nova City level advanced, but we're far from being Fayren's level.

He takes in the sight of the blade with appreciation, regarding the bracer with the same attention. ]
The blade reminds me a little bit of the blades an extinct order of warriors once used in my world. And you mentioned the transforming jets before. [ Still. Weird. So. Weird. ] It would maybe endear you with one of my Deputies, who is a pilot, but no, I don't expect us to be getting a fleet anytime soon.
[ He takes a moment to process the rest. ] But I didn't realize you have lightning magic. Is that... technological-based? Are you a wizard like the ones in Fayren? Like. [ He has to think for a moment. ] Like the ones with Fairy Tail?

[He looks back down at the bracer before covering it back up with his sleeve, shaking his head.]
It's kinda technological based in my case. Magic's a weird thing in my world. It used to be super prominent and usable by anyone, so at one time there were wizards. But in the time I'm from, you can only get magic one of two ways- genetic engineering or being equipped with items made with a particular magic crystal. I've got the latter, so if I lose either of these, I won't have it.
Now if someone else had either of these, like maybe you or one of your deputies, you'd be able to utilize its magic too. Needless to say, there's a reason why it's military grade weaponry.

[ Yeah, he really had his hands full back home just with regular weirdness, without magical superweapons. ]
My world has magic users, or had them anyway, not much of that left now, but... That wasn't my pay grade, and I was glad for it. I dealt with regular sentients oppressing other regular sentients with regular methods.
[ If he hires Mobius, he's leaving the weird stuff to him and Dante. If they get a roomba uprising, that will be his hour to shine. ]
