[There's muffled childish cursing and a weird angled view of a little blond boy with pointed ears. He's dressed in green and has a shield that's too large for a child, and a sword that's just right.]
This is weird.
[The boy peers at the camera, big blue eyes curious.]
Navi, where are you?

Apologies for the delay
And now there were some bunnies coming over to see him...
"Sis you shouldn't feed them over here." She put scribbles down and grabbed Link by the hand, gently dragging him inside to where the table was. "We should come in here and wait. Okay?"
Nevermind the small army of animals that were following.
Re: Apologies for the delay
He nodded and followed, though when directed towards the table. "Okay."
Without further ado...
It wouldn't take Satori that long to head into the room herself, carrying a platter of grilled meats and vegetables. From the small stampede of pets that could vaguely be seen elsewhere, it seems Satori must've dispersed them for the time being.
"...Apologies for taking so long, my pets are rather demanding when they want to be." Despite herself, she couldn't help but force a smile for the boy. Idly examining his surface thoughts as she set down the plate, she added "...It seems in your world that you had quite an important errand, is that right? Though, I doubt you could do much about it, now." Satori continues, bringing a hefty serving of rice, some smaller plates, bowls and some sets of chopsticks. "I'm not sure how time in our original worlds passes while we're away, but I assume things will sort themselves out."

It seemed not ALL of the pets had been dismissed either. There were still a few errant dogs and a weasel who seemed keen on collecting any discarded crumbs.
At least Link would have an example of how to use the chopsticks.

The girl from his own dreams, and he had been in hers--symbolically, at least. She had told him he felt familiar to her, had trusted him with stories the royal family guarded--
Link bit his lip and stared at the food instead, trying to focus on the present. He missed her. He missed Navi.
Being raised by a tree and other children, his table manners were not stellar. Link took a few pieces of meat and scooped vegetables with them, using his hands.

"Fair point, Koishi. I suppose it depends where and when people arrive. I've heard that some people - even from the same world - can arrive from different times. Perhaps that's why I feel the notion of 'time' isn't quite the right thing to say..."
She didn't want to confuse the boy anymore, so she turned her gaze, both physical and mental, to his mental state. Satori didn't seem to mind Link's unusual eating habits. The boy's surface thoughts seemed to imply his background was much simpler than the long-lived youkai's. Her reply was an almost instant response to the boy's worries.
"...I understand there's much you miss from home, as well. I understand, to the limit of my comprehension of your situation. But, for the time being, it might be best for you to try and find out how to support yourself here. Saving your homeland, as much as it pains me to say it, can wait. The whims of the strangers who led us here seem to think otherwise."
Satori sighed, taking a seat and setting a place for herself, calmly eating her portion of delicious grilled meats. "While I don't have much experience in world-saving endeavors, you won't get a chance to do much about it unless you find a way to leave here. Either that, or you languish here for a while and discover the mysteries behind this new world. With your youth and your wits, I'm sure you might be able to find things others overlook."
