[He reflects on that for a moment. This...entity seems to have his own will, so he wonders how he could be alive here now. If the possibility of being pulled from earlier time periods were true, then how would one know if they had died in their world?]

Well, just before I ended up here, there was an attack on our lair from a dark dragon. The deceased of my clan were reanimated, and produced even more dark creatures to overwhelm us. I was focused on protecting my mate, and I took a blast from a Dark Bolt that was aimed at her. That's when I woke up here. I...don't think I had died from it, but it did leave me worse for wear...

Me and my whole team. It was for a good cause and thanks to someone here being from my world but from the future, I know that our sacrifice was useful.

The deceased...zombie dragons then? [That sounds terrible hard to fight.] That's terrible. If you ever get back and if what people have told me it's true, then you will be back to that very moment.

[He can't imagine that ever happening, even if the situation in Sornieth is very dire. His own clan is all about survival, so sacrificing their lives would defeat their whole purpose.]

I suppose that's one way to know what happened after the fact.

I should hope so. So I can expect to find Shayla safe when I get back...but this also means that any strength I gain here will be lost.

More than one team. Many, many rebels soldiers died to retrieve the Star Wars plans. And many more died in the ensuing war so others could be saves. Sometimes that's the cost of freedom.
