[dogs. dogs everywhere. Genessia, Attleton, Nova City, Everglades, Fayren, wherever there is a pound or animal shelter, they've been sprung from them and are now baying through the streets or sleeping on doorsteps or rummaging through trash.

Through Genessia proper though, there is a pack of them, charging through the streets, baying excitedly. In the middle of them is one shirtless hat less pirate, rolling along on a skateboard despite the fact that his hands are cuffed behind him. At intervals, he'll throw back his head and howl as he goes along]

[a little later, he's sitting against a wall, breathless and excited, comm propped between his knees as he grins wildly at the camera though it, dogs sleeping all around him and a pooped pug on his head, snoring upside down with her legs twitching in the air]

Yo! I'm here. I'm back. Anyone got food? Or a key? Marco? Namur? Adela? [his grin widens] Taisa? Come find me. I'm free.


[Locked to whoever is in Namur's apartment]

[at some point, at Namur's apartment, this same certain pirate may be seen sleeping against the outside of the window, as if he was trying to jimmy it open with his teeth and conked out during the attempt]

Donf touf fhem, fupid! [he sits where he is and puts the bag on his knee and stuffs his face into it, trying to grab a burger with his teeth]

[well duh he gets it now. Shaking himself awake again as soon as he lets go.]

Dammit, how're we gonna get those off you? I can't touch 'em and I don't know what's strong enough to cut seastone here...oh oh oh hang on, lemme help you, Ace-sama!

[legit down to hand-feed, geez Ace stop making all his dreams and fantasies come true]

[gives him a look that says quite plainly if he tries to hand feed him anything he'll find himself a few fingers shorter. In any case he's got this. He pulls his head free of the bag and gulps down a burger whole]

Dunno. There's gotta be someone around here who can lock pick right?

[okay fine. Barty plops down just across from him, at least pulling the burgers out to let him have them at his own pace.]

Hmm, yeah, probably. Someone who ain't gonna be affected. That's most of the other people, really, now that we're down to what, four-five Devil Fruit users? We'll find someone.

The treehouse is still standing, at least! I had to clean up Zoro-senpai's empties but other than that I left everything the way it was.

That seems like all of us except Namur. [unless there's someone he doesn't know. He frowns a bit more]

Good question. [the bravado fades a bit as Barty just hangs out with his elbows on his knees] I feel like I've lost my inspiration, my imagination. Gettin' by, sure, but I haven't been truly creative in a long time.
