[Zexion appears on the screen and he does not look happy in the slightest. Although perhaps he should be- he seems to be alive, after all, despite that the last thing he remembers, that shouldn't be the case. His frown deepens. He wants to ask how that's possible, but he's not sure if anyone here will have the answer to that, or if he even really wants it right now.]

Hello?

[He shifts in his seat like he's uncomfortable or unsure of himself. To be fair, he's much more familiar with books than he is with technology, and he's not entirely sure if videotaping himself is a good idea, but it's potentially the fastest way to get information.]

If I'm to believe the information that was given to me upon my arrival, I've arrived in a world that I cannot leave. Is that accurate?

[He did already try to leave via darkness, but clearly that didn't work, or else he wouldn't still be here.]

[He doesn't know what Larxene's angle is, but he'd have time to figure that out, it seemed.

I'm not, she makes me pay my share of the rent. I have a job lined up for later anyway.

[He grins, he's legit and everything.]

And the Organization?

We can't leave, and aside from that I need to tell you some things I found out.

[Shifts to private.]

Axel and Larxene are here and they both have hearts.

I'd rather tell you in person.

[He scowls at the mention of Axel, reminded again of his death. Or almost death? He's not sure anymore. Either way, Axel and Larxene are both traitors that need to be dealt with, somehow.]

Hearts? How did that happen?

Well, from what I know, they died. After that at some point, they woke up with their hearts intact. Ax says you guys all get them. He didn't know about me because I wasn't in Radiant Garden.

[He sighs.]

Ax told me a lot of stuff that's really confusing, but apart from that, one thing he did tell me is that we can regain our hearts!

That's if you trust him enough to take him at his word. I do not.

I don't think he was lying. It would be pretty mean to lie to me like that.

[He honestly hadn't considered that Lea was lying to him.]

I wouldn't put it past him. Axel is not a nice person. None of us are, really.

I didn't say he was, and I know that.

[He frowns.]

He said that the Superior means us more harm than we thought. He wanted to take over our bodies like we were puppets. He was only going to hurt us in the end.

He said we don't need him to get our hearts back, that we can grow one!

[Zexion sneers, which should make his position perfectly clear, but he speaks anyway.]

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, on so many levels I can't even approach them all.

[But he'll tackle the most blatantly stupid part of the statement, anyway.]

For starters, growing hearts like they're plants in a garden? I've never seen a heart growing, have you? A person either has one or they don't. I can't believe you've fallen for such an idiotic thing.

Oh wait. Yes I can.

But how do you know? The Superior sent me on a mission where I'm sure I'm going to die Zexion!

[He frowns at him.]

You're already dead. Half of the Organization is.

[He flushes, bright red at the biting remark and ducks his head. ]

It's not stupid, Larxene thinks it's going to work too if I just make friends with people!

Larxene is a traitor just like Axel is. I wouldn't be surprised if they were working together on some level. I'm hard pressed to trust Axel about anything when he was directly responsible for my death.

I know Larxene is, but I didn't know Axel did that. Why would he?

[He doesn't know everything about Castle Oblivion.]

Why would he have killed you? What happened?

[He frowns.]

I want my heart Zex, don't you?

He said I'd found out way too much, right after he convinced the Riku Replica that going after me would help him become real. I had already been in a weakened state thanks to the real Riku, and so I didn't have much of a chance.

Axel may not have killed me with his own hands, but he was certainly directly responsible for it.

[Zexion pauses at that last bit. Of course he does. That was the entire point of the Organization, after all. Getting their hearts back. But...]

That is irrelevant. Simply wanting something is not enough. If it was as simple as "make some friends," don't you think it would have happened by now?

[He's quiet for a moment, looking as though he's calculating for just an instant before he offers his smile. He won't forget though, that's something that merits a few questions.]

I didn't have any friends, did you? [He shoots back, in a good natured tone.] We're not allowed to interact with normal people, remember?

If you recall, interactions with "normal people" tended to get us killed.

No one's tried to kill me here yet, and yes, they know I'm a Nobody. Even if I hadn't told them, Lea's been talking about me behind my back.

[He's pretty sure about that, considering a few things people have said that have made him suspicious.]

He says the Superior wanted us to think that, so we'd be under his control.

[Zexion raises an eyebrow at this.]

Oh? What else has he said?

His intention was to make sure we remained heartless so that he could put a piece of his Somebody's heart and take over our bodies.

[His answer is bland to match Zexion's tone with the conversation.]

We weren't puppets enough, I think, because you're not the only one who didn't come back, and then after Roxy left, it's all gone to hell and he's trying to get me killed now!

That is a ridiculous accusation. What would he possibly want with twelve bodies, especially when we were working with him from the beginning? What purpose would that even serve?

Roxas is gone? What happened?

[He's missed a lot, it seems, between being at Castle Oblivion and the difference in their timelines.]

Did you ever think that it's merely your incompetence that seems to be "trying to get you killed" rather than your lack of being a puppet?

[Although it was also possible that said incompetence had finally driven Xemnas to eliminate the problem. It wasn't a surprise. Zexion kept that
thought to himself. It didn't seem like an especially productive comment at the moment.

I don't know. [He shakes his head.]

Roxas took off, he defected. Ax has been...I don't know, running around somewhere. They've sent me after Roxas.

[It was not in his strengths, not in his skillset.]

[Demyx quiets and doesn't respond to that because maybe Zexion is right and it's his own fault that he's in this precarious position.]

[His eyes narrow at the news of Roxas. Things have gotten pretty bad in the Organization, from the sounds of it.]

Defected? Are you sure?

[But not much is in his skillset, is it?]

[They have, they have completely gone downhill.]

Yeah, he's been gone awhile. Ax was looking for him, but since he's not really coming into report either...

[Now it's Demyx's problem.]

[Zexion sighs heavily. Wonderful.]

I see. And now we're stuck here, it seems.
