Aaaand Tannusen takes the hat out of the box with a flourish, and steps in close to reach up and set it on Szel's head himself!

Yes, he knows Szel will just re-do it in order to better hide his emotion-hair.

It's still a riduculously cute gesture, god damn it.

Midge made sure to get out of the way as the hat came down, comfortably settling himself around Szel's neck as it rested gently atop his head.

It was fucking adorable as fuck, and while Szel's face remained just as sour as usual, that one stupid lock of hair warmly shifted to a deep, over-saturated red.

He didn't even notice.

He goes to swat at Tannusen, Midge demurely bobbing along for the ride. Not helping.

"Oh, there it goes back to what I have to assume is 'crankypants red'," Tannusen laughed, thus swatted, and went back to Jethro to pop it off its kickstand and start pushing it forward. Yep, the bike-kirin's coming with. Again. Problem?

GOOD IT CAN STAY THERE. He slicked his hair back again, and set the hat down on it, snorting. There, better. Now he doesn't have to worry about whatever the hell his new EMOTIONS ANTENNA is broadcasting.

Szel had met Jethro while in Lev-mode, and could probably hear the disdainful snort from the kirin even though he couldn't actually hear it. It was there.

"Find him an interesting enough book and he'll stay put to read it," Tannusen said cheerfully, pushing the bike along. "I brought his reading glasses."

The lazy, bumblebee like demon that had been napping in the library the last time Tannusen showed his face was here, and then gone in an instant, shooting the pooka what one might assume to be a dirty look before he did.
