Fury, Pain, and Other Four Letter Words [Action/Video | Open]

Action (Dracula's Castle)
[The dawn of the eighth day. Having been confined to the castle since his 'rescue', Soma had been using 'his' room, sleeping in 'his' bed, and growing gradually more fearful. What was that monster that looked like his father? How had it plucked him from his feet and thrown him from the room? Why had it acted as if he was somehow beneath its attention?

The first light of morning brought answers. It also brought memories, and wisdom, and pain, and the knowledge that virtually half his own life had been a lie. He had always been what he was now.

And that knowledge brought rage. Black, midnight rage. A roar very like that of Dracula himself echoes through the castle, and may even be heard throughout Everglade. Someone has awoken from a dream of happiness and potential, and he is most definitely not happy.]

Video
[It's been a little while, and the initial wave of anger has passed. Soma looks... pretty damn awful, to be honest. Drained. Gray. Pale, even for him.]

Does anyone have advice for someone who's just learned that they've been lied to by the people closest to them for half their life? I could... really use some.

Her name is Hana. She’s a dragon.

I think that is a good idea. Perhaps there are some religious leaders in Genessia with an interesting perspective? After all, most religion deals with your soul and it’s final destination. Genessia has proven to have interesting taste in who it brings here.

An interesting theory, though testing it could certainly end poorly. [Otherwise Uai would be dragging Soma to a church to touch everything for SCIENCE.]

I do recall a world where the idea of holy objects repelling vampire was just a myth thought up by humans, in their desperate need to feel powerful. But things differ world by world...

I also can’t imagine that casually asking the network to discuss their religious ideals will end in anything less than war.

A whip...? Interesting weapon of choice.

[Uai shakes his head, deciding not to devote anymore thought to that.]

I've yet to meet this 'Ted' character, but I'm understanding I should consider myself blessed? Maybe there is a god looking out for my sanity after all.

That said. Aside from religion... In my home, souls could be seen by certain people. Humans called it 'aura.' Perhaps there are people here with aura vision that can provide you with some insight. I recall that back home, ghosts were souls trapped on this plane who "needed to be destroyed."

Then I find it hard to believe we can't find someone with a similar ability here. My Hana was able to see them too.

[He bites his tongue, knowing that talking about her will just make him more lonely.]

Too early to completely curse yourself, anyway. Wait until you've gotten more information than you can bear.

Eh, is that so? Sounds like we could end up getting along fairly well, then.

Despite my youthful appearance, I've been around for quite some time as well. It's complicated... But that's for another time. Seems you have a lot to go do now, hm?

To you as well. If you need anything, I can offer a ear if nothing else.

My name is Uai, by the way. Spelled with a 'U,' not a 'W.'
