1st Despair // Video/action
Video
[The feed opens to a shot of the Bay area, hologram fading having delivered its message with the racks of maps and literature clearly visible. It then tracks as the person broadcasting gives up on the Bay area and heads out into Genessia proper, and soon enough a young woman's voice provides the soundtrack alongside the general sounds of the city.]
Congratulations, Genessia. I can honestly, one hundred percent, truly say that I did not see this one coming. Denying me my own death, that takes some pretty incredible skills and I'd just love to know exactly who I have to thank for that.
[It's here that the woman stops in her stride, shop window in front of her - and thus is reflected the face of one Junko Enoshima, indistinct for the way the light hits but she either doesn't notice or doesn't care.]
And don't worry. I promise I won't waste this second chance I've been given. That really would be a waste, right?
Action
[Junko's found her way to one of Genessia's parks, and now stretches out on a bench that lets her watch the goings-on around her. Nothing like learning the people to learn a city, after all, and in a place where she doesn't know anyone it's all the more important that she figure out who might be useful to her sooner rather than later.
Of course, she can't just sit and watch, that would be boring. So occasionally, when people are walking past while seemingly not paying attention, Junko will stretch and extend her leg to try to trip them, curious to see if they'll notice in time or pay the price for their lack of attention. Or if she spots someone with a pet that has the energy, Junko will find a stick or something nearby to throw to see how pet and owner will react.
And should anyone just happen to notice the young woman sitting by herself and come over to talk, regardless of intentions? She'll lean forward, deliberately tugging down her shirt to best display her cleavage while simultaneously putting on the most innocent face and tone she can muster.]
Well, I am new around here. Did you notice and come to see if I needed help?
[All the while, the way she moves implies they came over for less savoury reasons, regardless of who they are.]

1/?
However, today was probably not the best day to check. She soon found herself staring at the face of someone she recognized all too well.]
2/3?
Why?
Why?
Why did she have to be here? This was Chiaki's home now, she had nothing left back in the other world. So just... why did this world decide to bring someone she figured would try and destroy what she had built here.]
3/3 private video;
It was a while before the young woman appeared on the feed, looking rather serious for a girl who just went through the motions. But clearly, she wasn't going to give the other the satisfaction.
She didn't want anyone she knew to know, so she set it to private before speaking, however. It was better they didn't know or get involved.]
I guess this world will bring anyone in.

You know, I don't think anyone knows who is to blame for this yet. It might just be a black hole that's pulling us in to it and popping us out here.
Did you actually die?
video;
[By "all of this" she means the buildings and structures she's vaguely gesturing to. It's clear she doesn't really put much stock in that theory but who knows, she's been proved wrong before.
She finally turns the screen to herself at the other question, allowing a moment to show off her whole body before settling the feed to her face.]
I know, right? You'd never think I got smushed into paste not even all that long ago. Or maybe they just have such good timing they swept me away in the milliseconds between the crusher falling and my beautiful features being smeared into nothing recognisable.
[Her tone is casual all the while, as though there's nothing weird at all about talking about her own death.]

Action, I apologize for the accidental(?) sass
Pardon her, she's very confused right now.]
Uh...honey, if you're wantin' attention, barin' those maybe ain't the best way to do it. 'Specially if ya ain't sure how someone trots...good way to get attention ya really don't want.
[The country girl's done it to her husband plenty. It's just usually those mile-long legs instead.]
But yeah, Ah did. Ya need help?
never apologise for sass, Junko is likely to be a lot worse
Huh? Are you saying people might get offended? I can't help being the size I am, you know.
[But hey, since it might work out to her advantage, maybe there's more to be gained down this route.]
Or are you saying there's a lot of pervs around here?
I can't wait, this will surely be a great relationship

Try to trip the stick? Yes/No/Spilled coffee?]
Action
Which is probably not good for his health. But that's never stopped her before.
And so she does stretch out, positioning her leg just so he's likely to catch it as he lifts his foot for his next step. If it makes him drop the book all the better, but on the other hand fighters are supposed to have reflexes, right? So he should be fine, right?]

Still, even when Junko extended a leg to try and trip the girl, Kirika unconsciously stepped to the side to avoid it. Her awareness never faltered, and she probably did noticed Junko did it on purpose, probably. Regardless, she kept walking, even if Junko asked a question.
Isn't she the best at social?]
action.
[It's a genuine compliment, or at least as close to one as Junko is ever likely to give. That's an agility and awareness worthy of paying attention to, even if the mysterious reader isn't giving very much else away.
Which means she's the perfect candidate to watch, clearly. And Junko's not even that subtle about it, shifting to lie across the bench with her arms resting on the arm of the bench so she can get as good a view as possible.]

The guardian spirits of this place seem to enjoy bringing people here. There have been several per day recently. You aren't the only one who's been brought here after being killed, either.
[ Video ]
Guardian spirits, huh? How much do you know about those?

I'm sorry. And as difficult as this may be to believe, but you cannot die at all in this world. At least... not permanently.
[ audio ]
[And speaking of death, there's a very heavy note of intrigue in her voice because death not being permanent? That has the potential to be very interesting indeed...]
What, you mean they just bring us right back? Well that'd explain a lot.

And do you mind if I ask just what you will want to do with your second chance?
video;
[That's not entirely true but she wasn't asked directly. She was asked if she minded, and the rest just isn't ready to be revealed right now. And it's not a lie that she needs to do some recon before she figures out how to get from where she is to what she wants.]

action; lives out my dream of making junko/ann similar design jokes
Didn't Ann cut you in half?
( how'd the cognitive even get here without a palace? this place is so bizarre. )

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh...nope! I'm pretty sure I don't even know any Anns and I'm also pretty sure my death was more splat than slice. I mean, getting cut in half sounds like the kind of thing that would stick with you, you know?
[Especially if Junko had any control over how it happened.]

So, what exactly do you hope to accomplish in this place?
[Well. That's not strictly true. But she hasn't figured out how to get to what she wants yet so it's as good as a right answer.]
Besides. I'm not the type to let hope decide for me. Much better to wait until I know what's already here.
