Now that I've primarily gotten shit moved into office... guess I should make a speech or something...

Well, for starters, to everyone that voted for me, thanks. To those that didn't, no hard feelings. I know I didn't give people much to go on besides taking over for Cassian and keeping his stuff going, but since actually throwing my name in the race I've been doing something thinking, and I've come up with a few ideas.

My primary objective is to address the financial situation the guardian's office is in. As you've probably noticed we've had a few fundraisers here and there. That's fine, I'm not trying to deter anyone from doing that, but at the same time I would like to be able to reliably pay my deputies without worrying about next month's income. I've got some ideas that I'll be floating to mayor Cecil and working to just make things more profitable in general.

Second, as the home to the only place in Genessia that has a place where people can fight to the death with no repercussions, I'd like to open that up more publicly and encourage people with issues with one another to settle them there, and not bother anyone else. Exceptions obviously apply.

Those are the two big things. That said, if anyone has suggestions or would like to talk to me, I've got an open door policy so please feel free to contact me.

Also, because of the imminent heat wave, I'd like to put out a call to anyone with wind, water, or ice powers. Anyone interested in helping out, contact me.

I'd like to have designated spaces throughout the city where people can come and cool off for free, whether that's through just having a sprinkler, or a cooling aura or whatever. I'd be more than happy to compensate you or anyone else that wants to help out.

Perfect! I was thinking the same~! I think it would be easier if we could talk some of the local businesses or schools into being shelters. We can widen our interest search to those with electric powers to power generators, and take some strain off of the power plants... oh! And my magic can be good for manipulating temperatures!

Yay, perfect! I was wondering if I could bring Katsuki-san on a tour of the office. He wants to see what it’s like for me to be a Deputy and understand how our system of working together allows us to be our strongest selves ever~.

Of course, I wanna ask if Kay-san is comfortable with it too.

He was harassing me for a fight ever since I won that award for Most Heroic. So I fought him because he showed up at the GSRF. He lost, then he contacted me for a rematch and I said I would only do it if he started completing homework. He has serious anger issues and ambition, sure, but he also has determination and the people he looks up to are real heroes. He refuses to give up and even if he's extremely, painfully rough around the edges, he does have a brain when he chooses to use it.

But honestly? The only thing that's important is that he wants to be a hero. He needs someone to show him what that means and give him a chance even if it's a little like pulling teeth.

[There's an audible sigh of relief there. For wanting to help Bakugo with his anger issues, he was starting to feel like he was projecting, but having someone else saying something similar to what he was thinking makes him feel a lot better.]

You have no idea just how much of a relief that is to hear. Hopefully if I can be his punching bag, I can wear him down enough that he has to start thinking. I can't help but see a bit of myself in him really. When I started noticing my powers, I picked fights with everyone I could.

He's got potential. I just hope we can do something about that temper before someone gets hurt.

He needs to spend time protecting the people and dealing with Attleton's very... unique personalitied residents who believe that means making sure that Steve can't harm their sensibilities with that awful flamingo statue in his yard, not training. ] It isn't as if he'll attack someone who isn't ready to defend themselves. He's an idiot, not a villain.

We're still on honeymoon for the rest of the week, we're exploring a witch's island off the coast of Fayren. (If Mavis arrests us for trespassing: I'm fairly sure she likes us enough to let us go - if not, I expect you to bail us out. You owe me.)

What do you need us to do? I'm still going to leave, if I stay I won't do what I promised myself to do, but since I'm still on the payroll for July I won't say no if you have me run your errands first.

Far away from Attleton, Cassian feels a distinct sense of approaching doom. ]

[He shows up at the location of the shop. Aizawa looks like some shaggy guy with goggles wrapped with scarves around his neck, hair messed up. His hands remain in his pocket as he approaches the shop.

In some way, he can't complain. Bakugo probably spilled of his situation, and Dante pursued Aizawa, both logical. Even so, Dante was still a stranger to him. What would doing this fight now do? Was there a purpose? Would it benefit? Even though Dante would keep his word, he just needed to know.]

[Dante will be sitting on the steps of the steps of his shop, plucking away at what looks to be a purple guitar with electricity running through the instrument instead of strings. Still, there's a nice little tune echoing through the area. When he notices Aizawa he will glance up but still continue plucking away at the instrument.]

So, got any preference on how I fight? I'm something of a jack of all trades in that regard.

Yeah, that's definitely an issue, but I hope to be fixing that for the most part.

Kid's definitely got some rough edges, but I do think he's got good intentions at the very least.

depends on how much you can cover with your power. if it's feasible, just keeping a good constant breeze throughout the city would be ideal. otherwise i'll have you defer to my deputy Satou, she's in charge of coordinating everyone volunteering.

I did see. That's pretty impressive. [Kid had potential on par with even Cerberus and without using a Devil Arm. He'd have to ask if he's got other tricks, or if it's just ice, but that's a question for another day.]

My deputy Satou is in charge of coordinating everyone to help people keep cool. She'll make sure you don't overexert yourself too.
