Did anyone see that creepy guy with the mask just a few minutes ago? Who said nothing?

Is this thing even on? Oh, there's a green light--

[Finally, fingers move away from the lens to reveal a pale redhead who peered at the phone with the gaze of someone who was still trying to get the image to clear.

He waits, as if expecting another face to appear to respond, like it would during a proper mirror call. Uncertain if that was how this phone worked, he sighed.]

Well, I'm not sure if anyone is watching, but the my name is Spirit Albarn, Death Scythe. And my daughter is here too. If you so much as touch her, I will kill you.

Ah. Only a kid would treat his dad like that, so I figured.

[Spirit nods. He has a feeling somewhere that he will be explaining this title for quite some time.]

Yeah. I'm a weapon. At home, weapons train with meisters with the goal of collecting enough corrupted souls to become Death Scythes. My weapon form is a scythe, so the term is literal to begin with. Add to that the fact that I was Lord Death's personal weapon for a long time...well. That's why people called me DeathScythe as a name, instead of just as a title.

Oui, although I do not believe the time we spend here has much effect on the way time passes in our home worlds. After all, Laharl has experienced events back home that have yet to occur for me, once that I influence directly. Stranger still, he has been here longer than I have.
