[video] Halloween Curse shenanigans
Well, I have to admit, this has been a very curious morning.
[Albus Dumbledore is sitting in a chair in front of a small tablein a place that is not his normal living quarters shhhh and looking at his own hand with a small, mischievous look on his face.
There's nothing in his hand, until his smears his thumb over his palm and a small hard candy appears. He raises his hand up and drops into the palm of his other hand. And then drops another hard candy, and another. And then he releases a candy cane, and a lollipop, and a roll of taffy, letting them accumulate in a small pile on a table in front of him, each item appearing out of thin air.
It's almost like watching a magician pull a trick, except his sleeves are rolled up, and he doesn't have his wand.
He seems utterly delighted by this, his eyes shining with even more mischief than normal.]
Tell me, would anyone be interested in some candy?
((OOC: Dumbledore is now a deity! Specifically the deity of sweets.))

[action]
You are my deity and my exquisite and only love. Tell me best how to serve you on this night.
[action]
Let us kiss and lay together a while for now. We've both just sated ourselves, so we may as well enjoy our time before we can partake of each other further.
[action]
If I push us too hard, we will regret it. I wouldn't want you sore.
[action]
[A thought he emphasizes by playfully pinching Gellert's rear.]
[action]
[action]
[action]
[action]
Is that better?
[action]
Thank you.
[action]
Ah, what a naughty angel you've turned out to be.
[action]
I am what you made of me.
[action]
Then I will love every inch of you I have influenced and every inch that I haven't.
[action]
Am I worth the trouble?
[action]
Worth all of it and more, love.
[action]
[action]
Whatever mischief your mind cooks is up is exactly what I mean. I will adore you regardless.
[action]
[action]
Perhaps we both did, all at once. We both knew right away what was meant to happen.
[action]
[action]
At least we will know better and savor it.
[action]
What is wrong with love? I will never understand.
[action]
[For all his fears of being discovered, he knows that much -- they are not wrong for loving each other, for having found each other. If anything, their love could be their salvations.]
The world makes too many senseless rules for itself.
[action]
[Nothing is more foolish than being afraid of happiness.]
Romeo and Juliet are lauded for their infinite love, yet what if it were Romeo and Tybalt instead?
[action] Time to be super-meta
[Smiling softly, he muses:] You speak of Shakespeare, but you would like his contemporary, Marlowe. He wrote a play about a king and the man he loved, once. A shame it did not gain the prestige that Romeo did.
[action] yes yes yes
[His brows rise and he smiles.]
I imagine that was a tragedy too. I hope one day those like us can stand in the full light of day and be accepted as normal.
