[ Video / Action for Castmates ]

[ So the absolute nerve of attacking their guild aside, what may be a surprise to those who were there - and those who were responsible? The day after the battle, what damage done to the guild is restored to like it was never damaged. Strangely, there were no construction workers or people in the vicinity when it happenend. ]

[ Lucy was pacing her way through the guild, checking to see that everything was back to the way it was, before making her way up onto the roof and settling in outside there. ]

All right then. It looks like everything's back to normal - thank the spirits for that.

[ Even the little hut that Natsu had been building was untouched since the majority of the fight had been centered around the main building. She folded her legs beneath her in lotus position, proceeding to do just that - ah, but first..! ]

It's been a while huh? I've been away - [ And she hates the fact that she hadn't been near when the guild was attacked; though since she was with the kids it would be pardoned. ] -

for a bit, so how's about a little catchup on what's been going on outside of Fayren lately?

[ That said she ends the feed, closing her eyes to commune with the spirits that were kind enough to patch up the place. It wont' take long, feel free to drop a message her way. ]

[ OOC: I feel like it's been forever since I last posted something. Anyway, video catchall for any newfolks that arrived, and Video//Actiony catch all for castmates, new and old~~! ]

[He knows that grin and despite his better judgment decides to trust Lucy's words.]

Uh yeah sure...

Yeah, of course! I have to put my creativity to use after all. I haven't gotten any writing done in a few days.

[ She grinned wider as he agreed to back up her little story, chuckling 'wickedly'. ]

Peeeeeeeeerfect.

[ Oh. ]

I mean. Perfect! I know I can always count on you. [ She motions. ] Look, that's them up ahead.

[ Well that's Regina and Justyne. Neveren apparently, is hiding up in a tree, waiting there (im)patiently since Lucy left, apparently intent on ambushing her- or someone. ]

Hahaha bet you got a ton of ideas for that.

[Lucy that grin really isn't helping your act. Like at all!]

Mhm sure thing.

[Nev you should know that Natsu's nose would give you away. Still he'll humor the boy's ambush. Give him points for effort.]

Of course! Most of them come when I'm asleep but -- [ Oh, uh. S-ome of those aren't .... um. Appropriate for stories. Cough. MOVING ON. There is a distinct rustle of leaves, and then the mighty hunter in the trees LEAPS! Straight for Natsu's back, rawr! ]

WAUGH! N. Nev...! [ Scaring the celestial princess -- well actually that might be completely faked. In either case she slips away from Natsu while he deals with the wee boy. Moving more towards Regina and Justyne, who were in the process of turning towards the sound of wee bitty boys trying to ambush dragonslayers. ]

[She really needs to learn that cutting off like that is only going to make things worse. Luckily Nev's attack is just the distraction she needed to be saved from more questioning.]

Woah!

[He quickly reaches around to try and grab his sudden passenger though he's laughing at the kid's antics. The two of them were so much better than the day they first met and that made Natsu's heart swell with joy.]

[ Thank god for little kid ambushes! Lucy bursts into giggles when Natsu caught Nev. ]

You should have known better, Neveren, [ Trying to sneak up on a dragonslayer of all things. But she couldn't complain, it was wonderful seeing the siblings goofing off and playing after what they went through. A large part of that was no doubt due to Regina being found too - she suspected. And Nev just immediately connected with Natsu, it was pretty amazing. ]

Wow, you guys caught a lot of fish too, huh? [ FISH BANQUET. Neveren meanwhile, laughed - for some reason he just loved testing how strong Natsu was. Well, that and in general hero-worshipping the guy. He was nodding though, at the question. ]

Regina said we should catch a lot of fish so everyone in the Guild can have some for dinner.

[ Which .. was a great way to distract them from what was going on at the guild, honestly. ]

Nah he gets bonus points for actually climbing in a tree to pull it off.

[He says while laughing as he finally manages to grab Nev by the back of his shirt and hoists him up in front of his face.]

You're getting better at this though~

[He remarks with a hint of pride before lowering his captive attacker back to the ground.]

Now that's a haul. Though if Happy were around, that'd be just enough for all of us~

[Well he was exaggerating a bit but there was no harm in that.]

[ Lucy giggled, watching Nev -so darn pleased with himself until Natsu manages to grab him. Ack, he flails a bit, grinning. ]

I almost had you that time! [ Well no, not really, but he'll keep trying! Grinning wildly as Natsu put him down, he rubbed his little nose.

Justyne eyed their fishy haul at that statement, thoughtful. ]

So ... we should catch more fish! Come on Nev! [ PSH, who needs fishing poles, it's more fun (and cooler) to jump right in the river and try to catch them with their hands. Lucy glanced at Natsu, grinning as Regina wandered over. ]

Now look what you've done. [ They're going to fish the entire river and they'll never be rid of the fish. ]

That flailing always was fun to watch though Natsu wasn't sure what exactly made it funny.]

[he ruffles Nev's hair before Justyne took his words literally something that made him laugh again.]

I don't see the problem. If anything Justyne looked like she wanted an excuse to play around in the river some more~

[ It's because he's weird. Lucy giggles quietly. ]

Sure, you say that now, but what happens if they end up catching more fish than we can eat?

[ Well they could always share with the town. She just liked teasing Natsu. Still she wanted to watch what the kids were doing, so after exchanging a few words with Regina, she trotted over to watch the children. Regina on the other hand, turned her attention to Natsu, looking hiim over carefully. ]

Is everything all right back at the Guild? Lucy told me what was happening - since you're both here I can only assume things worked out. [ And Nev's excitement meant he didn't notice the bandages yet. ]

[Takes one to know one missy.]

Well we'll figure it out. I'm sure the market won't mind fresh fish.

[Of course they could sell it but Natsu's not thinking of making a profit. He felt REgina's questioning glance as he watched Nev and Justyne run off. When asked about the guild, Natsu's smile thinned a bit.]

It's okay now. Luckily we got help from the spirits with fixing it all up. Wendy's also tired herself out healing us all up afterwards so no one is really hurt on our end.

[He's certainly hoping Kefka was hurting though.]

[ Regina glanced over her shoulder where Neveren has somehow convinced Lucy to help them catch a fish. This cannot possibly end well. ]

I did not think the spirits would even involve themsleves in these matters. I'm glad that they were able to fix up the place. You've all been so kind, it's too cruel to think you would have lost your home after all that you've done. I'm glad that no one was hurt too badly. [ Or worse. ]

What of the man that started this?

[He watches amused as Lucy get dragged off. Oh this he has to see. But first he needs to talk with Regina.]

Yeah it's surprising. I guess they took a liking to Lucy. She has that knack.

[He smiles fondly before the topic turns back to serious matters again.]

He's alive. The bastard is good at running off when he doesn't have the advantage anymore. Gramps and the first are gonna look into making sure we get better defenses as well as making sure he doesn't get to use Terra like that again.

Yes, she does have that way about her.

[ Regina nodded slowly, looking a bit relieved. ]

Unfortunately the magicks I know will be of no use in that matter to you, I apologize. [ STILL, the guy got chased off so it was relieving. ]

Hopefully then, that poor girl will be able to be free from that man. Ah - and I wanted to assure you that the children don't know about what happened, so you needn't worry about them in that regard.

[ She won't keep him though - she know he wants to watch (and make fun of) Lucy's attempts to catch a fish. Poor girl just can't say no to those kids. Or Natsu for that matter. ]

Nah don't worry about it. Though if you've got any ideas no matter how small you might as well let gramps know. He'll listen for sure. Just watch his hands when you do. He likes playing tricks.

[Yes spanking a girl's bottom is totally playing tricks.]

Yeah. Heck he's lucky I wasn't in the room or I would've caught his stench from the door.

[Luckily they will get to happier things soon.]

That's good. Last thing they need to worry about is some overpowered clown with too much time on his hands.

[ ... that is not a trick! There's a small 'EEK' from Lucy, and then Neveren actually scolding her. 'You gotta be quiet..!'. 'But it's gross, they're all -slimey-'! Yeah Lucy is not dealing with the grab-the-fish-to-catch it thing well. Although it might be mostly an act to amuse the kids. They are dreadfully slimey though. ]

Yes, I will. [ She paused at mention of the Gramps, her smile twitching a little, not sure if Natsu's being serious. ] I-I see. I will .. remain alert in his presence, in that case.

[ Ahaha, ahha. She nodded a little, stepping to the side. ] That is indeed reassuring. But I've kept you from the children and I'm sure that they want you to join them as well.

[ She ushers him on, to where Neveren is smugly showing Lucy how to catch a fish. Or... how to try to catch a fish because he's not much more successful at it. Not like his sister anyway, oddly enough. ]

[He turns his head over to the scene of the crime and just barely swallows down a laugh seeing what was going on. Luckily Regina finally deemed it was time to let him go join the fun.]

Hahaha yeah. You're not gonna join?

[Might as well extend the offer since fun is better in a group.]

[ Regina grinned. ]

Perhaps a little later. I'd like a bit of a rest before then. [ She's been playing with them all morning after all. She knew she'd get tugged in to join the fun by the kids a sooner or later though. ]

[He grinned back at her and rolled his single sleeve up]

Alright then. Just jump in whenever.

[And with that he runs to join Justyne and Neveren.]

[ Justyne was already staking out a trout in the water, crouched and ready to grab it. Neveren and Lucy were teaming up on another fish nearby, though it appeared to be a sneaky bastard, darting away when they made to grab it. ]

Almost..!

[ Lucy, turning to greet Natsu, is caught completely unaware when the fish they were going after abruptly leaps out of the water. Neveren makes a mad grab for it, laughing. ]

Get it! Get it!

[Who would have guessed Justyne would be the more successful natural hunter. Then again she was the one ready to protect Neveren when they first met. The girl was not lacking in courage and Natsu liked that about her quite a bit.]

Come on Lucy you can do it. Think of the time you had to grab your whip during training back in Exsilium~

[It had wiggled around a lot harder than some river fish.]

[ All she had had left at the time was her little brother, and she had sworn to protect him. Even against stronger opponents, like that snake, or even Natsu when he came across them. At Natsu's words, Lucy whined. ]

I know that! But .. it's .. so.. SLIMEY..! [ Her whip was wiggly but at least she didn't cringe when she grabbed it. BUT! She manages to successfully grab the fish! ]

HA!

[ And promptly gets slapped in the face with its tail. It's a fighter, this beast of a fish! ]

[All the more proof of how strong of a girl she really was. And if she was already like this since young then she was going to be a handful as the years stacked on.]

Hahaha you've cooked fish before you know~

[Nope not letting her win this debate and instead grins even more seeing her success.]

Hold on to it! Or throw it over to the shore!

[ That she was! Also, darn you Natsu! ]

And it was squirmy and slimy then too!

[ She grimaces, hanging onto the fish and finally tossing it on the shore. Although she was SORELY tempted to throw it -at- Natsu. Hmph. WIth her hands free, she crouched and scrubbed her hands in the water. ]

Augh, I *smell* like fish too.. [ Poutpout. Neveren, having been watching the whole thing, is entirely too amused, glancing towards Natsu. Gasp! ]

Natsu? How come you've got bandages on?

[ Lucy on the other hand, takes the opportunity to jump in so he doesn't have to explain. ]

It's so he doesn't turn into a wild dragon - [ She crooked her fingers. ] Hunt us down.. [ She crept towards Neveren, who backed away giggling. ]

And then POUNCE - [ Scooping up the hapless boy, proceeding to mock nom him. ] And chew us all up! With a mighty dragon roar!

[ Don't laugh too hard, because Lucy does her impression of a roar (pretty sad really) at that point. ]

RRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAWR!!!!

[ Well. It's an unusual explanation but it successfully diverted the kids from asking awkward questions, since both are giggling, scrambling away from the 'dragon' Lucy. Justyne even gets into the act, forgetting about fishing (they have plenty anyway) and joining in the shenanigans to scramble behind Natsu while Lucy was chasing down Neveren. HALP not-dad, Lucy's gone crazy! ]

[ And poor Regina just -laughs- at this latest bit of nonsense. Seriously, what even. ]

How was it squirmy when it was already dead?

[She's clearly flustered about the whole situation and he's enjoying it to no end. He should have expected Nev to notice the bandages but luckily LUcy is there to....come up with the most ridiculous story ever.

Though it's worth it to keep the kids distracted and the bonus of hearing Lucy TRY to roar was even better. Which is why he starts laughing merrily when she starts to chase the kids around.]
