BUT If you DO want to go back to your time, I'll give you all of the Doctors' data that is left behind and the sensors and the analyzers and maybe even your own lab, because I've got like... three now that are doing nothing. It's terrible. I even have a TARDIS of my own?

Don't worry, it's okay. Just keeping things kind of normal, helps? Not too normal, because I can't just go sit in his lap while he works, or bug Lady-Doctor the same way, and I never got to know Norm as well as I wanted -- but you know. Semi-routine.

It really doesn't. I've never been good at losing people, though. Even when they're back in centuries before I was even born, I like to think of them as just sort of alive so long as I dial back the TARDIS to go see them then. Whiiiich doesn't work here. Of course. So yeah. 'Course it's a little harder here.

But I mean. Fluffy's still in the Professor, and the Professor becomes Lady-Doctor, but I just want to enjoy the moment as it is. So that's good.

But if I lose him too I might do something really drastic like try to fly all three TARDIS at once beyond the barriers, and you can help.

I didn't lose all five at once. Just Bad Dog. And Norm. And Lady-Doctor a month or so before. Maybe two. I'm a little fuzzy on time right now. Always.

But drinking with friends is always better!

It's kind of funny how we treat disappearing here like death. But then like... some people are dead. So it is.

That's still a lot to handle in a short amount of time. I got so drunk when Sabo left that I cried myself sick. Didn't get out of bed the next day, and had to have my brother actually put me in it. I don't wanna think about how much I'd drink if I lost more than one person here. [Ace shakes his head.] It feels kinda like death to lose someone you care about, even if they're still alive.

Anyway... you wanna party? Not just drink, I mean, have fun while getting smashed. We could get drunk on the floor somewhere. Or can try to live it up a little.

[Shakes head.] Honestly? Don't tell anyone, [Finger over lips.] Only a few people know how much I hate parties. It's overwhelming. I don't have Satou's empathy magic, I just... get swept up in others' pace, and the more people are around, the harder I have to try to be me. Make sense? Even if it doesn't... it's how it is. And Bad Dog and Lady-Doctor and Guitarist all love a good party, so I'd go mad that they weren't being the center of attention with me off in a corner sulking that I couldn't get their attention, yeah? [Weak grin!]

I just lost three versions of the Doctor, including Bad Dog. And both assisstants that were working on it. I can't take anymore. I don't even know how or why Jack left that time and came back. Same with Martha. But I won't. I can't let you do it too. If Guitarist leaves, then I'll show you how to operate a TARDIS if she doesn't freak out from glitches, and we can try to explore beyond the barrier then. But right now, the only way I'll let anyone even look at the data is if I don't really care about them and they don't have anyone who'll cry here if they disappear.

She doesn't know.] He gave up a lot for the TARDIS, he gave up a lot to come back after his death, just for me, and now he doesn't exist out of memories I guess. It's weird, yeah. Well I'm not big on researching anything, at least not in that sense, so no worries there.

But I am looking to maybe pick up a little part time work on the side. I'm good with fire magic and have forcibly picked up some basic paperwork skills. I've also been working on using my fire magic to make things out of metal and glass, so if you need anything like metal parts or glass containers custom made, I could probably do that too.

Ah, gotcha. My friends and I would always try and meet up for ice cream after work back home, so it's kinda a thing for me too. But tea and sandwiches are also good, so that sounds like a plan.

And I'm glad you've still got him here, at least. I know how rough it is, loosing people you're close to, but knowing that you've still got friends around helps.
