“I did. This is out date and it should be at least somewhat perfect.” Or at least as close to perfect as he could manage to get it. “And I didn’t want to end up with some place that you only say you like so you don’t hurt my feelings.” He genuinely having a good time was important.

“How does it feel to be out in the open without your bow? Do you feel naked?” He honestly wasn't sure how long she had been hiding her ears throughout her life.

"Well, that I can admire. Effort like that seems to sometimes only happen in books, from what I gathered. So, it is a rare treat." And it was. She'd never been asked to go out on a real date before. Mostly confined to what the books said about how things wet for two characters in their fictional world. Actually living out something like that, with someone who was willing to put their heart and soul in to it, was like a fantasy.

Glancing up, she felt her cat ears twitched while her free hand went up to touch the base carefully. "Yeah, I feel a little naked without my bow. It's liberating and a little scary... I spent so long hiding them that I had forgotten what it was like to not have to worry about it.

Then you came along and discovered my secret with one look." She laughed shyly.

“Well what can I say? You just know another Faunus when you seem them sometimes.” What was the most impressive thing was that she managed to hide them from her teammates for as long as she did. Did she sleep with that thing on or something? And if she did, did none of them ever wonder about it? It seems like one of those things people would be curious about.

“Just don’t forget you aren’t alone.” He pokes her back a little with his tail just to drive that point home. “We are two young Faunus’ going out on a date without having to worry about discrimination or weird looks.” Unless Blake decides to give him one of her weird looks.

“This is the sort of thing that you wanted to accomplish in the White Fang, isn’t it? Faunus being able to go out and do normal things like this without a care in the world.”

"And here I thought I did so well in hiding it." She teased. If it ever hurt, she'd sleep under her covers in her little den the made for herself, but mostly she would have to keep it on during their night times. Mostly her team would chalk it up to her having just fallen asleep while reading, neglecting to remove it for another night.

Showers were just as hard. She had to make sure to wrap the towel around her head to dry her hair before being able to get her bow back on to hide her ears. All those stresses with him that night, were completely gone. She didn't have to worry about all those tricks of hiding.

Feeling the poke made her straighten up a bit and look behind her before she did realize it was his doing. She reached behind her with her free hand and gently touched his tail with a smirk. But soon hearing that, she glanced down with a nod.

"Yeah, at least when I started there. Equality for everyone. So two Faunus' could just walk somewhere and feel safe; not judged and more importantly, accepted. Over time the demands went from pleas to violent riots and I didn't want to be apart of that." She took a deep breath and glanced up at him.

"I really hope my skills as a huntress will allow me to at least work towards that dream. No discrimination."

He swatted her hand lightly with the tip of his tail. But it was done playfully. “It’s going to take a lot more than just you and your skills as a Huntress. We will need to work hand and hand with humans to end discrimination.” It would be a long and hard task, but in the end it would be worth it.

Sun had no idea if that was something that he would see in his own lifetime, but he hoped he would at least get to see the steps taken towards that goal.

“We might not be on our world, but you get to experience that tonight.” They would both get the experience. They were probably going to be two of the first Faunus to ever get it.

“And you get to look really cute while doing it, too.” If only Sun had a camera so he could take a picture and show Neptune if he ever manages to show up.

"Of course. I have indeed learned that not all humans are bad." Thanks to her friends but she also learned that humans could be just as dangerous as The White Fang. More specifically, Torchwick and whatever his plans were.

"But, you're right. We get to experience that little bit of what we're working for tonight. So let's make the most of it." She said with a small nod before giving a small and light heart scoff. "I look ridiculous, but thank you."

“Blake. You do look ridiculous. Ridiculously good. I’m the luckiest Faunus in this or any world.” With Adam being the only other Faunus here, it wasn’t that hard to be the luckiest. They are coming up to the Archway for Attleton now. And when they reach it, he steps through it with her to get there. And now he turns so they can head towards the Tokyo sub-archway.

"Did you wear something like you have on now at the dance back home?"

"Now you're the one being ridiculous." She wasn't used to these kinds of compliments. Modesty aside, she also wasn't deserving of them given the past. Sure she was attempting to make up for it but she still had a long ways to go to atone for her sins and make everything right and being trapped in another world wasn't helping that along at all.

Coming to the Archway, she glanced up and around in slight worry for seeing something rather new, foreign and different. Cat ears slightly betrayed her with folding back against her head but trusting in him, she took a step through it only to have her ears perk once more as she looked around.

"Not really. The dance was- sort of last minute I guess. But it was purple with a teal bow. Nothing too fancy... I didn't know then your favorite colors were blue and red."

“Weiss said she was supposed to find out what my favorite color was. You could have just asked me personally, you know.” He didn’t miss the point that she had on red earrings. They stood out so well against her dark hair. They looked really good on her.

“You don’t have to dress in my favorite colors just for me. As long as you pick out something that you like and feel comfortable in, I am happy.” And honestly, the dress she had on now was so stunning that he couldn’t picture her wearing anything better than that tonight.

“And I know that yours is black, but I despite my coat, I don’t think I pull it off nearly as well as you do.”

"She seemed intent on it. I figured on asking you but- I guess she beat me to it." She mentioned and glanced up at him with a small smile. "I guess she's nosy like that."

Curiously, she tilted her head and looked at his coat the back up at him. "Oh, you knew? I guess it wasn't that hard of a color to figure out huh? You do look nice in it but- the same goes for you. You could of been in bright orange and I'd still be standing here."

Sun laughs a little at that after trying to imagine himself in bright orange. “I think I would stand out pretty well in some bright orange color.” But he was pretty sure he would look pretty tacky in that too.

“I’m glad we both somewhat manage to match.” Sun he gives her a smile. “I know it must make us really look like a couple.” Cute is the word he could imagine people describing them. His tail perked up a bit behind him at that thought.

"You certainly would be hard to miss that's for sure." Maybe just a little clashing in colors. What he normally wore was nice. The white certainly balanced how just how tan he was and his hair was akin to sunshine. Even more when it gave a light glow once he called his Sembience. That was a little thing she didn't miss at all, even fleeing Torchwick on a moving vehicle.

"I guess it does, doesn't it?" Something caught her attention with the sudden movement and she glanced to her side to see his tail perk up slightly. "Does it do that normally when you're happy?"

“Huh?” Sun looks back and gets a little sheepishly and he consciously lowers his tail and tries to keep it out of the way. “It just..maybe sometimes..but..don’t pay attention to it.” Was he embarrassed about that? Maybe a little. He never noticed when his tail perked up like that, so having someone else see it and know why it was doing that was a little embarrassing.

It was one of those few things that made having a tail inconvenient. If Blake’s ears did anything when she was happy or excited, he didn’t notice. At least not yet, since she liked to keep them covered up.

Blinking, she reached out and carefully lifted it a bit as it lowered down. Sure, she might of been hovering her hand a little too close to his rear but she liked seeing his tail happy since it usually indicated a happy Sun. "It's cute." She said simply.

Glancing back up at him, she gave a sheepish shrug and motioned up towards her ears. "They give away my mood sometimes. At least when I was younger. I'd have to make sure my bow never twitched when something caught my attention and if caught, chalked it up to the wind or denied it."

"What's worse--" She leaned a little closer to him, playfully lowering her voice in a whisper. "--I sometimes purr. That's a lot harder to control."

“People have no idea just how much we have to control our ears and tails sometimes.” He said with a little amusement in his tone. It was nice to know he wasn’t the only one cursed with an appendage that liked to have a mind of its own.

One benefit to being a monkey Faunus, he didn’t have to worry about the whole purring thing. Sun smiled pretty wide at her divulging that secret, though. That was something he would like to test out at some point. Just to see how true her words really were.

“I bet. But..” He leans a little closer now “What makes you purr the most?” He wasn’t asking for any real reason, at least that’s what he would say if she questioned why he wanted to know.

"Nope. They certainly tend to have a mind of their own." She returned with just as much amusement. It was nice to talk to someone about something they both physically shared that made them who they were. An odd sort of connection that only they, and others like them, would truly know.

Thinking on that, she realized that it certainly hand been a while since she really had purred. A long while actually... "Probably having my head scratched. It's been so long I almost wonder if I even remember how to." She lamented with a small shrug. "I catch myself very rarely nearly attempting but stop myself. Simple things, really, as silly as it is, like a warm bath or a particularly warm patch of sunlight from the windows."

"You're lucky you don't have to deal with that, huh?"

Sun was tempted to scratch her head, but that felt like something that should be done in private as opposed to blatantly out in public. And he didn’t want to embarrass her. At least not with something like that.

“I think I am going to make it my goal to have you purr before the night is out.” He says with a little nod. How he would accomplish it, he didn’t know. But he would find some way to do it.

“I am. Though I don’t have that extra sensitive hearing like you do but..I think not purring is a good trade off for that. At least for me. You have no idea how much my team wouldn’t let me live it down if they randomly heard me purring.” There would be so much teasing. Even if it was just Neptune that heard it, he knew it would somehow get to Scarlet and then to Sage.

Quirking her eyebrow, she faced forward with a small laugh. "Out of context that sounds rather risque you know." She teased. But, finding out if she could indeed still purr was still a kind gesture in itself. Since arriving, she hadn't felt there would ever be a time she'd be that comfortable again.

With her free hand, she tried to hide a laugh behind her fingertips at that. A purring Sun would be strange but, at least his climbing abilities more than made up for it. Plus he was quick, a skilled fighter and probably far too kind for his own good. "At least we always have our eyesight. Although now I guess..." She trailed off in thought. Should she play up to that risque sentence of his? Probably. "..I guess I'll have to see if you make any noises before the night's over."

Sun’s face might have turned a tinge bit of red at her pointing out how risqué his words had been. He meant them pretty innocently, but really..he should have been more mindful of his word choice. At least she didn’t seem to take any offense to it. The red might have gotten a little more intense when she added the thing about him making noises too.

“I guess you will. I can’t promise that I will make any though.” He flashed her a little playful smile. They did have their eyesight, something that was a huge asset for any Faunus. It was the sort of thing that could win wars. “But don’t let that stop you from attempting to make me make some.”

As they came up to the Tokyo sub-archway, he looked ahead to it. “We are here. Are you ready to go in?”

At that she gave just the smallest of pouts but still gave his hand an affectionate squeeze. "Well, if you say you don't then I guess the experiment ends prematurely." She teased before turning her head to look at the archway.

Stopping for a moment, mostly because it was a new experience still, these odd archways, she gave a nod and collected herself but might of stepped a little closer to Sun for that extra feel of protection.

"Mmhm. Ready."

He steps through the archway and pulls her along. And when their they set foot on the other side, they are in the sprawling city of Tokyo. Massive and lively, the city looks like it goes on forever. Sun wasn’t sure if it did, since he didn’t venture entirely too far into it. There was a lot of ground to cover and without some sort of vehicle, he knew he was sure to tire himself out.

“You don’t mind a bit of walking, do you?” Maybe he should have told her to wear some more comfortable shoes.

She's still a little worried which is betrayed easily by the twitch of her ears on her head but once she stepped on the other side and saw the vast expansion of the city, she couldn't help but merely stare in awe of it's marvel. Was this place really real? It was some kind of metropolitan dream if ever she saw it. Buildings as far as her eyes could see with bright lights that did indeed attract her, being cat and all.

"No, no not at all." She did do her combating in heels. Something her and Weiss could probably agree upon.

"This- this is really a real place?" She asked as she tore her eyes away from it for the moment to look back up at Sun.

An impressive feat to be sure. Sun didn’t know how the girls managed it. If he tried, he was certain he would snap an ankle or something awful like that. “Yep. This place is completely real. It exists in other worlds.”

He took a few steps forward, tugging her along with him.”I spoke to a woman named Mamizou when I first found out about this place. She told me it exists in her world, though she hadn’t really been or spent much time in the city. There are a lot of neat things here. I heard there is a bit of good literature.” Sun was certain that was something that might pique Blake’s curiosity.

Always the ladies' man, Sun. She continued to look up and around at everything. Lights flashing, music playing that caught her attention with occasional twitches of her ears. This was better than any club on the seedy side of Vale where Yang had gone to but still rather captivating if a little overwhelming.

"Wow. I'll certainly have to keep coming back here just to see everything. So many buildings so close together. This place is odd but- rather beautiful." She said as she carefully followed close to him as he led her. The promise of a good read did indeed pique her interest and she did make a mental note of it to try and find out just where something like that might be.

"Does it always seem this busy?"

He wasn’t trying to be. The girl had just been nice enough to give Sun info on the place when he asked about it.

“It was when I was here before. I’m guessing it might just be a common thing for this place.” He hadn’t come here at night, so if it had a busy night life, then he didn’t know about.

“It’s an interesting place, though. I want to explore it more when I get the chance to and see all that there is to see.” They had enough time here to do that much.
