As I'm sure you all have seen by now, the results of the elections are in. I tried to assimilate into the culture here and to form a symbiotic relationship with this place. However, the people here have made it clear that they do not wish to have a Pokemon in charge of guarding this place, despite the roll of guarding nature that Pokemon take on naturally in our own world.

As such, I have little choice in the matter here. While I search for a way to escape this place, I will require sustenance. I refuse to simply starve myself for the convenience of humans, meaning the only recourse left to me is to take what I need.

If you value your safety, do not attempt to stop me.

It didn't take a psychic to see the ambition and madness in Bison's eyes. It was a look Giovanni had as well, though this seemed much more... unhinged.

With a selfish attitude like that, it's no wonder you didn't win! You got money to live on, the same as anyone else, and if you want more, get a job! Don't throw a fit just because you didn't get what you wanted. If your immediate course of action is to steal and threaten other people with physical violence, then you're not fit to be a guardian at all. Guardians protect people, and help them!

Shape up, accept defeat, and try for something else. There are plenty of things you could do if you really wanted to.

I was created with a very singular purpose; battle. I was a weapon in design and concept. Battle is my only marketable skill, and I know for a fact that the people in Fayren would not hire me for any kind of work where I was too visible.

I had intended to help the people of this place, but if they're more interested in hiring someone who announced her presence in this place by burning innocents, far be it from me to stand in their way.

Considering my opponent, and her track record, I am preparing for the worst. I do not wish to, however, I will defend myself where necessary. And by the nature of my powers, and the relative fragility of the human form, even the weakest of my powers could do serious mental or physical damage to a normal human.

Have you considered the fact that throwing a tantrum like a toddler because you lost isn't going to make anyone regret not voting for you? Whether you're a Pokemon or not, the reason I didn't vote for you was because you expressed the notion that you can protect Fayren while ignoring the other linked cities. Preventative measures and planning are just as important as reactionary measures, and you failed to form appropriate connections with others that could have helped you accomplish your job more effectively. You clearly still hold a dislike of humanity, making most of us not feel comfortable having you in charge of protecting us. Anyone can say that they have power and experience from another world, but unless you actually demonstrate your abilities and effectiveness, you can't hold other people accountable for your faults.

Get a job and work with the rest of us and stop acting like an entitled child if you ever want to be considered for a position of any kind.

As for my dislike of humanity, yes, I don't find myself fond of them. Neither would you if you were born with the sole purpose of being a human's weapon designed solely to bring your world to his knees. I have explored the possibilities available to me, I have tried to assimilate. However, when your only marketable skill is battle, and look like what most would call a "monster" my options are limited.

So instead of judging me for taking the measures I have been forced to, why not examine your own biases first?

I don't believe being who you are to be the reason. I didn't vote simply because I didn't know either side and that was my fault completely. But it seems you've formed an opinion that everyone is the same when that's not correct. We are all different once you get to know us.

Though at what you say about sustenance and what you say after. Have you not been eating correctly? There are ways to get food, it's simply a matter of using what skills you do best, but taking it by force is not a way to go about it.

I was under the impression that the archive feature on these devices were fairly simple to use. A quick check would reveal that when my opponent first arrived in this place, she set a man on fire for refusing to give her what she wanted.

As for my opinion, I ask you, if you were told from the moment you gained consciousness that you were not natural, not born normally, and then coerced into serving another on his quest for world domination... how would you feel?

Still, trying to avert anyone getting harmed unnecessarily was something of a priority. Although he did wish he had Lamington here - that would make playing and resolving this mess significantly easier - he cautiously opened up a private video feed.

Biases are difficult for many people to overcome, unfortunate as that may be. It is a matter that I have been attempting to resolve in my own world. Still, we have no way of knowing for certain what feelings or thoughts pressured the votes of others.

The screen flickered a few times, eventually focusing on a familiar face contrasted against a dark background filled with faint bio-luminescent blues and greens. Perhaps some sort of lichen on the walls behind her.

Mewtwo by this point was just... tired looking. He'd found a nice little cave to hole up in. It had a nice sparkling pool and a rock in the middle he could meditate on. When he was contacted by Koishi, he didn't bother with the normal platitudes. He figured they'd be lost on her anyway.

So this is the one who wanted to take on the responsibility of guardianship? Simply pathetic. Who cares if you can destroy things, being a guardian isn't about beating up criminals to show how strong you are. It's about giving everyone a chance to go to bed without fear, giving them the peace and security so they can live our their lives the best they can manage.

So one setback and you're just going to become the very opposite of what you were aiming for. Taking what you want without any thought to the needs of others and resorting to violence at the first sign of resistance. For all that psychic ability you have you really don't use much of your brain. Did it ever even once occur to you that there are plenty of jobs that you might be quite adept at?
