[ The special news report comes on instead of your regularly scheduled commercial! It's the view of a beach, looking very pristine. In the distance, there's a hover boat going over the water to check some stuff. Show Host walks onto the screen, stopping, then turning toward the camera in a jolting 90 degree movement. He's wearing sunglasses. ]
Well helloooo there, Genessia! This is the Show Host, live from Nova City Beach where the sand is moderate and the waves are finally blue enough to function! After long years of the beach being shut down due to pollution problems and low animal populations, Nova City Beach has finally recovered! The final stretch was made by the mayor's office in recent times, pushing more funding into recovering the beach. Though it's right before winter, Nova City's generally warmer weather means that after today's ribbon cutting ceremony, the beach will be open to the public.
[ The video turns to the stage and Show Host moves with it. In the background, a bunch of politicians, a couple of celebrities (including celebrity chefs Alice Nakiri and Ryo Kurokiba from the TV show Ultimate Food Showdown, wow!) stand by Mayor Schnee are cutting a big red ribbon with a pair of ridiculously oversized laser-scissors. There's a smattering of applause from the crowd, a little speech, then afterward when everyone's of stage Show Host goes to approach Jacques Schnee, mayor of Nova City. ]
How did you manage to put the pedal to the metal with this project, Mayor Schnee? Anything else you'd like to add to the people of Genessia?
[ The mayor turns to the camera to answer the question, really pouring on the charm.
"When I learned that the people of Nova City were unable to enjoy a safe trip to the beach, I put my top people on it. Nothing is more important to me than ensuring that my citizens are able to live happily and healthily." ]

The following rumors are going around as NPC gossip. Your characters are welcome to hear them. The rumors may be true or false, and the subject of the rumor is randomly selected from the taken list. If a character shares the same first name with another character, we will not specify which one it is.
This week's rumors are:
1. Luke Triton and Will Turner recently were caught sneaking into a bar after hours. Whoa!
2. Kirika Yuumura and Sonata Dusk were overheard at a coffee shop planning some kind of pyramid scheme. I wouldn't want to get involved in anything they've got their names on...
3. Sans has a horrible crush on Selina, but senpai won't notice him if you know what I mean.

Notes: This takes place all week, so characters can get their photos taken at their convenience! Those that want to watch can do so, but they risk their own health! Not everyoneis Gale likes an audience! Also still six spots left for the sexy calendar!!
The photo studio, with a myriad of different backdrops, costumes, and props available, is set at a pleasant temperature. Not too hot, nor cold. There are a few refreshments for photo takers to enjoy, and for those who need a bit of loosening up, there's something for them, too! For the yearly calendar, a professional photographer has been hired. For the Christmas one, Dave Strider is in charge. He'll make everyone look super pretty.
