I also wanted to speak, briefly, about the date auction.

[His expression darkens, but only briefly before his normal smile returns.]

Which is to say it seems to have been a fine success despite misgivings and everyone's poor attitude. Let me also say I've seen some lovebirds as a result of it. I'd say more, but I'd like to not start a spark over Miss Aino's efforts since it was a success. So, congratulations to the new couples.

As for myself; I have five dates as a result of it, if you did not receive a card I'll spoil you on it now.

[He starts thumbing through the cards, clearing his throat as he reads each one.]

...Ah. Miss Aino. I think you can do better, but I'm quite flattered.

[He returns with a candy cane as big as he almost and grins as he gives it a small twirl.]

[Propping the candy cane on his desk, Arro folds his hands together, looking deathly serious.]

I do dating for fun, I participated in the auction purely for fun. If anyone is worried about anything permanent resulting from it without a choice, please do put that out of your mind. If any of my dates have issue with a date, please say so; we all did this for charity in the end. Otherwise I shall start making plans with each of you after the New Year and in alphabetical order for fairness. That said, Miss Aino please contact me when you have a moment so we can make plans~

Other notes...Hm. Well I have noticed we have quite a few scholars in our midst~ I do enjoy learning but I have noted some of the curriculum might be a bit out of everyone's normal means, I don't mind offering a hand where necessary. Just leave a message here or on my voicemail.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say that this was my first Christmas, we don't celebrate it in my world, but I loved the holiday. Thanks everyone for the presents they sent me, I hope you liked my cookies and the cards.

[With his free hand, Dray shift the camera so it shows the sleeping kitten a bit better. He looks a bit more closer to tears now.] This little bundle of joy is Luka, Fai gave it to me. Isn't he cute? He even looks a bit like my baby Arabel.

[The video begins with that very abrupt declaration from Orihime, her fists raised, brow furrowed, cheeks flushed. It's only abrupt because there were so many previous false starts before pushing record, and every time she practiced prior to this, she got too flustered to say the right words.]

[Now that she's said it, she takes a deep breath, lets her hands fall into her lap where they're clasped tightly together, and she grins sheepishly.]

I hope that wasn't too loud. I'm not really used to admitting it, since it's kind of a secret back home. But it's one of the things I can do, and I thought, 'Oh, that would be good for people to know in case of an emergency.' And you don't have to be human or organic for it to work, since it's not...technically...healing. It's more like...

[She hesitates, and her shoulders grow tense.]

It's...well...how do I put it...it's like rejecting the event that caused the injury in the first place, so it doesn't leave scars, or stains. So...even if your leg gets chopped off, or you get completely blown away, I can fix it if I can get to you before your body disappears. I haven't really found my limits yet, to be honest.

[She's slowly been shrinking in on herself. Then she suddenly sits up straight and waves her hands frantically.]

But I promise I'm not a monster or a god or anything like that! And I won't get rid of any injuries or scars you want to keep!

[Orihime was listening at the debates. She'd never even thought of a scar being like a memory, so now she knows better.]

Just...just please keep it in mind. I'm a volunteer with Heals on Wheels, and though I'm not really sure what we're supposed to do since I joined, I'm very much on call at any time you need me.

[Her head bobs, and for a moment she looks like she's going to keep talking. But she realizes she can't think of anything more to say. So she bobs her head again.]

[ There's a man in a military uniform on the screen. He's in the Commons and starting to settle in.]

Does anyone recognize this man?

[ He displays a bromide of a heavily scarred man. This shows the level of photography during his time period. He figures anyone who knows him could respond, or anyone who has ever seen First Lieutenant Tsurumi in the past.]

[ He says something in Satsuma dialect, which is quite different from other Japanese dialects.]
