Can anyone recommend a place to get a haircut?


[Action 1: The Zoo- closed to Kirika]

[He had promised Kirika a trip to the zoo, and the best place to visit one was the subarchway for Tokyo, Japan. With the area being a familiar place for him, it wouldn't be so awkward for him to go. He really didn't know what girls Kirika's age liked to do, and knowing what she's capable of, Aya also wasn't sure about what she liked to do. In his mind, one couldn't go wrong with seeing cute animals.]

[So here they were, looking at the exotic animals the zoo helped protect and actually care for. Many see them as in cages too small for their breed, but Aya saw it as a way to protect both the animals and humans.]


[Action 2: Kitten in the House flower shop]


[It was an ordinary day for Aya. Sweeping the front of the store, watering a few flower beds, shooing away teenage girls (and a few boys) from loitering, and checking orders. Feel free to pop in and say hello, buy something, or be annoying. Whichever!]

[Minako's cheerful face pops up on the screen again. The window from last time has been repaired. There's a tennis racket on the desk that she's resting her right hand on, even as she beams and sparkles for the camera. Bring it, Paperboy, she's ready for you.]

Heads up! Everybody better start brushing up on their cooking skills, because there's a special one-time-only event coming up next month. On the first day of the carnival, the matchmakers here at Aphrodite's Arcade & Love Matching will be hosting a lunchbox auction!

[She holds up a finger to explain.]

How does it work? Well, I'll tell you! Volunteers pack a picnic basket or lunchbox with a bunch of food for two people. Then we auction off each lunch to the highest bidder, and whoever wins gets to have lunch with the volunteer!

[She sets her hand down and giggles.]

It's a great way to meet new people, or to just enjoy really good food in the company of a friend. Orrr in the company of a "friend."

[Stop eyebrow-waggling Minako you're so transparent.]

There's no need to sign up for this. Just show up on the first day of Azura-chan's carnival and make your way to our booth around 11 a.m. If you brought a lunch, we'll take care of the auctioneering. It's all for charity, so get ready to showcase your culinary skills!

On the furthest edge of Fayren, down a road and over a small bridge in the wooded area is Fairy Haven. Behind the doors of this guild hall is a bar that has been opened to the general public, and the woman who runs that bar is none other than Mirajane Strauss. She can be seen scurrying about, delivering drinks, waiting on tables, cooking meals, and chatting with folks at the bar who wish to drown their sorrows in the beverage of their choice. Whether you're drinking alcohol or fruit juice, the Fairy Haven bar has got you covered. There's also a little walking shelled creature that is balancing trays on the top of it shell to help Mirajane with delivering drinks.

So come on in!

[Bruce appears on camera looking slightly nervous and it takes a few moments for him to speak.]

I was wondering if there was a hospital or other medical area here where I could work...I have training in various areas and I've done medical care on just about everyone...and thing, so I'm not picky.

Haunted Restaurant:


Matt can be found sitting in the back of the place tonight papers spread out before him as he works out various legal issues for anyone who needs them. That doesn't mean he isn't paying attention. His senses are on full alert as he is ready to jump up and sort out any kind of physical trouble as well. So mess with the slim blind redhead at your peril seriously.


Torchwood Proper:

Matt can be found in a few places here, either the gym testing his skills, in his office pouring over paper work or just wandering the halls. There are certain places he avoids for various reasons, but he always does his best to stop and greet people when he saw them. And if he catches a scent he shouldn't well he isn't about to say anything.

Residences:

Matt enjoys spending more out of his apartment then in it given how much of Luke's things he kept, so he can often be found outside the building playing with Wampa his cat or seeing if he can get up onto the roof. He might even be stopped slipping in his window wearing his Daredevil outfit if someone is up late at night.

[Rose looks cheerful, as always.]

[The 12th Doctor (aka: The Professor) is mostly buried in a newspaper behind Rose as if not really part of the conversation. The newspaper is not the Genessia Tribune, but what it is is rather difficult to tell.]

Class hasn't started it yet, but when it does, I'm gonna be the professor's T&A!

[He shuffles the paper at the T&A comment and makes something like a snort, but no comment otherwise. Careful readers might see one of the headlines is "Too Thot to Trot."]

He's not the type to do lesson plans and he likes to surprise as he goes, so I'm gonna make everyone a mailing list, yeah? It'll be just on the topics you're most interested in, so if you only want classes about different universes, or the stars, or you want to skip the ones that require crazy high calculus -- actually that's not a thing, don't worry, but just for example, let me know and I'll give you head's up in advance, and if you want in on the music stuff or to know when all that is gonna be, the newsletter will cover that too!

His class is Physics of the Universe, and sign-ups start now-ish, I think! Usually, his rooms are pretty packed, so even though you can audit, that means sit in free, but you don't get college credit; you might wanna make sure he can get an extra big room, just in case.

[Winks to the Doctor, holding up Capsule Corp capsules before popping open a desk chair.] You wouldn't believe how many of these I had to use and we're worried there might be even MORE interest this year! But it's a good thing!

You can learn pretty much ANYTHING! Like did you know there's a special chemical in your saliva that's an anesthetic and anti-depressant 6 times stronger than morphine? What's it called again?

Opiorphine. On some planets its considered an aphrodisiac for vampiric plants. The more you know. [He rustles the paper and flips a page]

Right, yeah! Your body produces only a small amount 'cause otherwise you'd be as high as a zeppelin all the time! But that's why if you stub your finger, your instinct might be to suck on it! Or the reason behind comfort eating! And why snogging is actually really good for you! AND what vampires and mosquitoes inject so you don't get hurt, and a totally good reason to let vampires join your snogging parties, yeah? Just something to think on!
