[Just as the doll landed on his head with a squeaky belly flop. Ranulf yanks it off and throws it again.]

[A rather large blue cat can be seen in some part of Everglade, a doll pulling on his tail while he uses both front paws to dig a hole.

Once the hole is finished, Ranulf quickly turns and pounces on the doll, grasping it firmly in his teeth. He carries the doll and drops it in the hole. Then, he proceeds to bury it.

All while he's staring at you.

[Waking up in strange places is not something Sumia would say she's used to doing. In fact, she can say for certain that she had fallen asleep in her tent back at camp.

But...apparently that isn't the case. According to what all she had just read.]

Well, this won't do me any good just staying here.

[After making sure she had everything that had been on her, or literally on her in regards to the stack of items she woke up to, she takes off to see where it was exactly she had woken up at, while also fiddling with the unfamiliar device the package had called a "smart phone".

At which now, she's found the video function.]

Oh, I hope I'm doing this right and didn't just break it somehow. [Muttering out of the way...] Um, hello! I'm Sumia, and perhaps there's someone who can help out with something. Does "Ylisse" sound familiar to anyone here? O-or maybe the Shep-oof!

[There's a clatter, as things have been dropped and scattered as she was not paying attention to her surroundings. Honestly, that rock just jumped up out of nowhere.

An audible "Oh, horse plop." can be heard before the sound of everything being picked back up, until she eventually comes back into frame for a brief second as Sumia's now turning the phone every which way to make sure it didn't break somehow.

Sorry about that! Now, where was I again...? [Pause to think.] Oh, right! While I'm hoping the others didn't get placed here as well, I'm just curious if there's any familiar faces here. [Sometime after her video broadcast, Sumia eventually found her way to the city proper, stopping frequently to find anything more about where she had woken up that hadn't been covered in the information she had woken up with.

Some things seemed familiar: there were shops, yet some seemed to sell unfamiliar fashions and items, same went for some of the stands she came across.]

An Outrealm of some sort? No, there's usually Risen or some other kind of- [Yet again, with her not paying attention. This time, she's walked straight into someone and has begun fumbling (and failing) to keep things from falling to the ground once more.] Not again...!

[And she's back to having to pick her things up, checking once more that nothing broke. After straightening everything and herself out again, she's finally looking to see who it was that she ran into.]

I'm sorry! I really should have learned to pay attention to where I was going after what happened earlier. [And a brief pause as she realizes something.] I didn't break anything, did I? I'll find some way to replace it if I did!

[ Ayame appears to be in a quiet place in Fayren, with stone steps leading to a Japanese-styled walled gate. Much like an entrance to a Shinto shrine. She turns around with a smile at the camera that's being held telekinetically ]

Good morning. With the recent events in Everglade and among others, I figured many of you could use a break to rest and recover. My name is Ayame, and this week I have returned into business and decided to pick up where the Amagi Inn had left off, and create my own safe haven. Welcome to Amatsu!

[ She presents the gate with a dramatic gesture of her arm, causing the rolled textile pillars to light up, showing a fountain by the entrance. ]

It's a traditional Japanese-styled inn with the aim to help you relax and feel rejuvenated, should you feel the need to get away from stressful city life. We are here in the middle of Fayren's woods-

[ She didn't even pause as she creates a portal off-handedly. Which she goes through along with the camera. The wind blows in her hair as soon as she crosses that cleft in space, and the camera angle adjusts to show that she's actually flying without any means of propulsion. Over her left is the inn itself in all it's wonder, built on the slope of a hill with three floors. There's a great river flowing out to the ocean where there's a beach near the inn's grounds ]

-far from any noise and troubles. We have plenty of hot-spring baths, spa treatments, dining options, and suites to offer. There are even natural wonders to explore. And we are currently hiring! So please-

[ She creates another portal, heading to the outside of the main entrance where there's a peaceful garden and koi pond, silent with only the sound of chirping birds and gently rustling autumn leaves ]

-if you are interested, we would love you being a part of our team, or to even at least give us a visit. There's a carriage service that takes you from Fayren to the inn. We promise you will enjoy your stay.

[After arriving, Ochaco's on the move away from the Bay and into Genessia City proper. She's been wandering for a while, mostly trying to come up with what to do with herself. She's looking at her phone and other newly acquired items. At this point, her stomach rumbles. With a sigh, she opens her phone up to send a short, inquisitive message.

Because she can handle everything else on her own. She can stand on her own two feet.]

This is kinda a weird question, but is there anywhere anyone would recommend to get something to eat to someone who just showed up here? I'm actually kind of hungry.

[Back home, things technology wise are kind of amazing sometimes. A lot of it can be attributed to all of the superpowers people wound up with and the technology that was developed as a result of and because of these abilities. But Nova City? Is on a completely different level.

Those who are in the city might come across an Awestruck Ochaco staring up at the flying vehicles and large shiny buildings. She's even stopped at one point at what looks like an impossibly high tech arcade, hands in fists in front of her as she watches someone play some complicated looking game with a whole bunch of flashing lights.

Or, perhaps you've got your own personal cheering squad, because you must be doing absolutely amazing at the game you're playing!]

[It's not long after her impromptu arrival and introduction Via Weiss' hologram that she's opening up her new phone and thumbing through the list of people on it. She spots several familiar names and immediately messages two of them. Starting with Bakugou first.]

[Ever since getting it, Kenshin has paid very little attention to the phone currently in his hands. It's a glass and metal box, as far as he's concerned and he has little interest in learning how to use it. He's still got it in his hands when he moves to stand up from the cafe table he'd been seated at, and then decides to blatantly put it down and walk away from it.

Uh, considering that getting a replacement would take some work, it might be a good idea to stop him. Someone? Anyone?]

[Kenshin has, in his time here, gotten to explore at least a small amount of all of the cities. He found himself the most overwhelmed in Nova, but on the flip side, Fayren (despite its fantastical elements) makes him feel the most at ease. It's a much easier area to feel comfortable in considering the similar tech levels and atmosphere overall. So, even though he still lives in the starter apartment he'd managed to find since arriving, he spends most of his time here in Fayren.

At the moment, he has a small sack of groceries dangled in one hand, his other arm tucked into the top of his clothes, his sword still ever present on his hip. While his gaze is seemingly focused elsewhere, he manages to move out of the way of people coming in his direction without much thought. Eventually, he comes to a stop in front of an oddly japanese looking inn of some sort. Ah.

He pauses, then turns to someone nearby.]

Do you know the name of this inn?

[Somebody has left and come back in good spirits. She was actually back yesterday, but took a day to gather herself together first before publicly letting everyone know.]

Strange thing going to the dream docks, isn't it? Quite the headache too. But the strangest part is feeling like more time has passed then actually has.

[After much fiddling around, Winnie's finally seemed to get the hang of this thing. Maybe.

It's upside down and showing everything but herself, but it certainly picks up on her talking. ANd boy does she talk. A lot. The posh, British voice is full of excitement and cheer. From the looks of things, she appears to be still around the Bay area] My! Would you look at that? Just as it described! I'm afraid this is all terribly beyond me, but how wonderful that even I could figure it out!

[She laughs brightly and the camera flips around right side up and finally centers on Winnie's face. She looks surprised at first and then smiles brightly when she realizes] Oh, I can see myself! Which I'm sure means you all can see me too, right? Isn't that how it works? Hello!

My name is Winnifred Prismall, but please do call me just 'Winnie,' otherwise it just sounds terribly stuffy, don't you think? And since we're all friends here [They are, she's decided it.] we should all greet each other on friendly terms as well!

Let's see, let's see...I was going somewhere with all of this. Isn't this all terribly exciting? Other worlds, different cities-- That one place, Fayren? I wish to go there first thing. Magic and fairy tales? What more could anyone hope for?

[She looks terribly excited!] As far as kidnappings go, this is probably the most fun way it could go! Not that I've ever been kidnapped, mind you, but I have read plenty of books where the heroine is kidnapped by the dastardly villains to places unknown, so I figure I'm not too far off on how it should be like.

Oh. [Winnie suddenly pauses and her brow furrows in a perplexed look] Oh, drat. I didn't faint! The heroine always faints... Should I faint?

[Please stop her.]

[In Fayren Winnie can be found walking around with a look of utter wonder and delight on her face as she takes everything in as best she can.]

Ooh, a castle! Right out a fairy tale, how wonderful! So there must be a King and Queen, yes? [Her expression gets a bit strange at that as she looks at the castle, the corner of her mouth curling in something almost mocking but then it's gone as quickly as it came.

Winnie can be found just about anywhere in the town, poking around shops and picking things up to examine them, being completely swindled out of her money by paying too much for things that might actually have little to no value, etc. etc. Save her from herself--or save a poor shopkeeper from having their ear talked off as Winnie babbles about whatever fairy tale X item reminds her of. (Where "X" is really any item.)

Once in a while she might be observed just sort of. People watching. And though her pleasant smile is ever-present, there's sometimes a strange disconnect between her smile and her gaze. While her smile might be cheerful and friendly, her eyes might be cold and calculating, like a scientist examining the movements of insects.

But then it's gone the next second and her expression seems genuine again. Hm. Weird.]
