And neither will they. It has been all I can do to act as a mediator between Fairy Tail and Tartaros here, and my efforts are being strained. If I hadn't been able to convince them that there is a greater threat to them - and to me - than Fairy Tail, I fear this world would also be thrown into war.

Given the circumstances of our own world, I can hardly blame Marde Guille and Sayla for thinking that Fairy Tail would be against me, as well. On the contrary, most of my interactions with them - particularly with Mavis, Lucy, and Wendy - have been quite pleasant. Others, such as Natsu, Makarov, Gildarts, and yourself, were more wary, and understandably so, though I would not call them hostile.

Actually, you and I had a deal, before you left. Though, it has since been fulfilled.

I would assume they are still in Mavis or Makarov's quarters. If not, they are with the rest of the quest rewards, wherever Fairy Tail happens to store them. I'd considered the job complete the moment E.N.D.'s job appeared in this world, and thus, the papers I wrote have already been delivered. They contain information on Sayla, Silver Fullbuster, Marde Guille, and E.N.D.

Though, in the cases of Silver and E.N.D., the former is not a demon, and the latter remains sealed.

Hoh? Were you trying to keep it a secret? [She's a good sight smarter than Natsu - and evne he probably could have put those clues together.]

Where were the papers delivered? To this other me? [She hopes it wasn't knightwalker... but no. She has to consider the possibility that she really has been here twice.]

I don't broadcast my presence. Quite honestly, I'm unaware of what happened in our world beyond what I've been told by others. Observing from a distance is inconvenient for specific details. I don't know if we have met anywhere besides this world or not, yet.

To Mavis, actually. She and I are quite familiar with one another.

The first Master

Many are. I don't like bragging, but it is hard to miss, or so I've been told. Not what I would have wanted, given the circumstances.

Something they wish to do to humans. But I suppose that is the way of the world, isn't it? Kill, or be killed. In that sense, humans do not appear to be that different from demons.

That is a very long story. Suffice it to say that there is a reason I was able to live on Tenroujima for so long.

We didn't begin these attacks. But if they intend to destroy our world, then we will finish it.

On the guild's sacred island.

I have seen many wars started over the centuries, some over less than the reasons Tartaros claimed. After so many, I can hardly see a difference, anymore.

It was Mavis who brought me there. It one of the few places I could stay where I would not be disturbed. Or, so I thought. I can't fault Mavis for allowing Fairy Tail to hold their S-Class trials on the island, but the one known as 'Hades' allowed Acnologia to follow him to me.

What's your relationship with the first?

Yes. Though, from my interactions with Sayla here, it would appear that Marde Guille never told the Nine Demon Gates why I truly created them. They were under the impression that their instincts were driving them to find me in order to serve me, not to kill me. It would certainly explain why Sayla goes completely out of her way to try to please me.

She and I met more than a century ago, shortly before Fairy Tail was founded. Her kindness was touching to me. It was what convinced me to agree to teach her and her friends the magic necessary to defeat a Dark Guild that was occupying Magnolia, known as Blue Skull.

Ironically enough, Hades was with them.

The First? [Is this man embroiled in every part of her life?]

Her affinity for Illusion Magic was already very impressive, there was little I could teach her on that front that she didn't already know. But, to answer your question, yes. Her, and her companions, the ones who would go on to become Fairy Tail's founding members.

A detail of the guild's history that, understandably, they either buried or don't share with others. The Magic Council would have a field day with that if it ever got out.
