So much for resolving our differences between the DWMA and witches.

[ Here is a snowy-haired kid with red eyes, jagged teeth and a nearly permanent slouch. It's different than how he first woke up wrapped in something that seems uncomfortably close to Arachne's style -- a freaking cocoon, even if it was made of metal and silk but the fact he may have got tangled up in there might have contributed to that assumption -- but after a few minutes of freaking out off screen, he'd taken stock of his situation, gone over all the reading material... and decided it was all too weird to take at face value. Clearly, some witch didn't get the memo and was still probably fighting the good fight in the name of that dead Arachne lady. That's so lame. ]

What's your deal, Warlock Dresden guy?

[ Soul lifts Harry Dresden's magazine for newcomers and waves it lazily, wrongly assuming he'd been jumped by said wizard who oh so helpfully introduced himself simply because it was an easier way to explain his blackout than to take the reading material at face value. Reading material that, as far as he knows, came from a dubious source -- witches. ]

Don't you know Arachnophobia is old news? We're supposed to be allies or whatever, so lets just cut the crap and get me back to the Academy already.

But we're back to having two weapons. Three meisters, two weapons--two Death Scythes, at that. That's got to be some sort of an advantage.

No idea. If I find out who it is, I've got a piece of my mind to give to them. For starter pamphlets they're completely lacking in helpful materials like a map that highlights the cheapest places to stay while searching for apartments if they don't have someone they know already here, financial tips so that people don't squander their money on the first day just because it's free, ideal affordable food suggestions, a brief overview of the situation beyond a vague explanation of the pendants, and anything besides the words "DON'T PANIC."

[ Weiss rolls her eyes. ] Never tell someone who's panicking not to panic, that's ridiculous and entirely unhelpful.
