Nova City Carnival

What: Nova City Carnival

The NCC (Nova City Carnival) opens up its gates for business on the 27thof March. The line to get inside was decently long during the first few hours, but as the day went on it shortened as things got into full swing and booth attendants got into the flow. By noon the place was pretty packed, with there being so much to do, many people planned on spending the entire day there.

Come nightfall, it didn't thin out at all. If anything, attendance grew as more citizens of Nova City made there way there. The atmosphere is as positive as you can expect from being around people that are enjoying themselves. And it would continue on like this until the final day.

Like um.. Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Tokyo. If I told you just "Let's go to Big Thunder Mountain!" it'd be a surprise, right?

That sounds interesting, like it should. I'd definitely go there and expect a wild ride.

If you can ever come to my world, maybe we should go sometime, Loki-san.

Sure, sounds great.

[He doesn't want to think what needs to happen before that can happen. Too much in between. Especially...

Oh, right. He never asked what she remembers.]

Hey, Yui. What... do you remember from the garden? You know. Before you came here.

[graduations]

We just finished up Cinderella, cleaned up, then.. my memory blanks out just after we left the building. Why? Did you talk to Takeru-san?

Cinderella? I haven't even heard of that. I just found out you were a human and then I woke up here.

[So even Yui was from further away than he was.]

Yeah, I did... he told me a bit on what happened.

[graduations]

Only just- Eh?

[ She looks surprised, then relieved. ] Well I suppose that makes sense.. [ Since she knows about Balder's.. well, problem, she understands why he was mean to her. Even if Loki doesn't remember the Christmas Market, if Balder isn't here then there's no reason for him to keep going after her like that.. Yui smiles, knowing that at least their relationship has gotten better (in her opinion) despite that. ]

He didn't really give me too many details.. Ah, but Cinderella is a play we were allowed to do. Though it didn't exactly go according to script thanks to.. well, you. It was fun though. I'm sure there's a way for you to remember somehow.

I... guess it does.

[Yui probably wouldn't have been so willing to try being friends, had they been from the same point. After what happened at the barbecue and all.

Loki listens to the explanation about the play and nods, seeming a bit distracted.]

Yeah... maybe. I hope so.

If you find out how to remember before I do, let me know, alright? I don't want to miss out on any of our memories together, Loki-san.

[ She says it with enough warmth that it couldn't be anything but earnest. ]

[Loki stops everything for a moment. She doesn't want to miss out on their memories...? She even sounded so earnest when she was saying that.

Error, error. New emotion found. Finding a way to deal with it- Loki might be blushing and is now attempting to make it look like he's not.]

What are you saying? Idiot. They're probably very bad ones. You're not missing out on anything.

[Smooth, Loki. Smooth.]

You're the one who said you wanted to make them, even if you don't remember it right now.

[ So there!! :T She's excited about making memories with him. ]

[What? Why did he say that? Gosh, Loki, what are you doing in the future??]

It must have meant something other than you... thought.

I don't think so. We spoke at the Christmas Market. I was worried you hated me, but you ended up telling me that in private.. though things got a little complicated after, with Balder-san... but everything turned out alright, don't worry.

[ She smiles. She doesn't want to tell him everything, but she knows that he cares about Balder a lot, so she doesn't want him to worry. ]

You'll have a hard time convincing me that you meant anything else by it, Loki-san.

[Complicated with Balder? Well, if the guy heard Loki saying that he would go to a jealous rage. He really needed to find out what happened after.]

... why would I said that right after finding out you're a human...? I don't get it.

[graduations]

There was a misunderstanding, and some things happened. You asked me not to mention what happened to anyone, so I think it's better if I wait until you remember.

[ Even if it's Loki himself, a promise is a promise. ]

[It's bothering him endlessly after this, but whatever. It's soon their turn on the ferris wheel anyway.]

I'll let you know if I experience it myself.

I look forward to us being able to remember the same things, Loki-san.

[ And look, they're letting them on the ride now! ]

Uh... yeah.

[He'll just quietly go on the ride, avoiding eye contact. Why was she so happy and friendly!!]

[ Yui buckles in quickly, her hands gripping tightly to the bar in front of them even though the ride is hasn't started yet. She's flown on Pegasus with Apollon before, but Pegasus didn't do crazy gut-wrenching drops while she was on him, okay? ]

Ready, Loki-san?

[It takes time for Loki to actually buckle himself. It's not like he's done that before... and honestly he'd rather not have anything restricting around himself.]

I'm always ready. See, I got this thing on.

[Uh, no you didn't.]

[graduations]

Loki-san...

[ He definitely doesn't have that on right! Yui has an uncertain look on her face before leaning in to help buckle it correctly. She doesn't want Loki to fall out of the coaster and have to go to the hospital because he's got his limiter on... ]

[Wow. This is awkward and making Loki even more embarrassed than earlier. Maybe he should have tried seriously after all!!]

[ She gets it pretty quickly, then sits up properly. ]

There, now you won't fall out.

I could have gotten it myself...
