I-I hope I did this correctly... H-Hello, my name is Wendy. Um... Has anyone seen a white cat wearing a dress and a ribbon on her tail? She was with me before I ended up in this world.

[Having been to another world with her friends before, it's safe to assume they may have ended up here, too.

Ah, if anyone has this symbol [She adjusts the video phone so that the camera's pointed at her blue Fairy Tail Guild stamp.] somewhere on them, please let me know.

[She's already rather nervous; it'd be even worse if she found out she was the only one from Earth Land here.]

O-Other than that... Is there anything else I should know that wasn't already covered?

[Bows her head.]

Mavis...? [She's never seen this girl in the guild before, so how would she know Mavis?] Are you one of the First's friends?

Hmph. [She points accusingly at the screen.] Listen! I was Mavis's friend long before she started a guild! Don't think that symbol means anything to me.

[Long before...? She's not a spirit, too, is she?]

May I ask how you two met? I don't know much about the Fir—about Mavis-san. [Mavis seems to be a very interesting person, so she'd love to learn more about her.]

[Nobody knows? We'll find out in a month, though.]

I-I've always known Mavis. S-she... used to work for my daddy's guild. [She looks away, not wanting to meet Wendy's eyes.]

But that's in the past! We don't need a guild anymore. Me and Mavis were fine by ourselves on tenrou for years!

What... What happened to the guild? [Pauses.] Ah, if it's something you'd rather not recall, you don't have to tell me.

It... it doesn't exist anymore.

They weren't very good people, anyway....

[She won't probe any further.]

...You also said you and Mavis-san lived on Tenrou Island for years. Why did you leave?

Mavis thought we should see more of the world, is all. She's real stubborn when she puts her mind to things.

[She chuckles.] That does sound like her.

Since you and Mavis-san were close, does that mean you were a member of Fairy Tail, too? [From what she said earlier about the guild's symbol, it sounded as if she never did join, but it wouldn't hurt to ask anyway.]

OF course not! I knew her way before Fairy Tail existed.

I don't know why she would have made something like that...

[She tries to remember if she were ever told why Mavis founded Fairy Tail. Did it have something to do with whether fairies had tails? She can't completely recall.]

One of the best things about a guild is that you're bound to go on adventures. Maybe she wanted to make one so she meet new could travel together with you and your other friends. [Granted, a guild isn't necessary to accomplish that, but it's much easier to go to new places if it's for a job. Not to mention mages can receive a lot of money, which is almost required in order to travel.]

Everyone knows guilds are dangerous. Taking over towns and attacking islands...

Besides. No one in your guild knows who I am.... [Which, to her mind, can only mean one thing.]

Fairy Tail's members would never do that! [Though they are known for causing property damage. ~~Best to leave that part out.~~]

Ah, well... I'm still sort of new to the guild, so I don't know too much about its history...and I don't think any of us got to meet Mavis-san until a few months ago. I'm sure she would tell us all about you if we asked. [Of course, she doesn't even know this girl's name; it's possible it'll ring a bell.] Would you mind telling me your name?

Of course nothing Mavis created would ever do that! [Her feelings on Fairy Tail are just complicated.]

Hmph. Listen carefully, then! I'm the dark wizard Zeira.

[She nods in agreement. If Fairy Tail were anything like the Dark Guilds she's encountered or heard of, she wouldn't be a part of it.

Though she tries to think of whether she's heard the name "Zeira", she can't think of any time the name was mentioned. However, it does sound similar to another name, especially when combined with the title Zeira called herself by.]

..."Dark wizard"? [Headtilts.] You wouldn't happen to be related to Zeref...would you?

[...She thinks she's heard that name. Maybe while looking over the other Fairy Tail member's communications?]

What's he look like?

Um... [She only got to see his face briefly—not to mention he was in a dark room, making it more difficult to see—so it takes her a moment to recall any details.] He has short black hair and black eyes. [It might help to mention his title, too.] He's also known as the "Black Wizard".

You mean that weird Sensei?

He's the one who taught me and Mavis magic... Yuri and Warrod and Precht too, I guess. He wouldn't lt anyone go near him, though.

...Really? [It's not that she doesn't believe Zeira, it's just surprising to hear—particularly because Mavis and Warrod never shared such information. It also makes her further question why Zeref's seen in such a bad light.]

Neither Mavis-san nor Warrod-san ever mentioned Zeref-san doing such a thing. ...Maybe it's because of his reputation? [She looks down.] People keep saying he's evil, but he helped me and was very nice. And if both you and Mavis-san get along with him... He seems like a good person to me.

...Bad person?

He just seemed weird to me. He was scared of letting anyone touch him.

[Nods.] That's what I've been told on numerous occasions. ...But, now that I've met him, I wonder if he's just misunderstood. [A pause.] I know someone who was said to have done horrible things, but he's been kind and helpful to me and my friends. Zeref-san might be similar.

Well, your guild probably wouldn't exist without him, you know.

Without him, Magnolia would probably still belong to Blue Skull.

...Blue Skull? [She shivers a little.] That's a scary-sounding name. Was it a Dark Guild?
