[Public Broadcast/Video] The Skeletor's Outta the Bag

 [Attention Genessia citizens and Guardians alike! Meet Vyse, the Blue Rogue. This spirited young man appears on your screen, his brown hair a little plastered to his forehead by sweat. He's been running around a lot! But having freshly escaped danger, he's free to dole out the warnings. What little that can be discerned of him is this: he has one funky glass eye-piece, and he's in a well-lit cave of some kind.]

Greetings Genessia. I unfortunately have a warning to issue: the Goblin activity mentioned in the paper is part of something big; some kind of "plan" by Skeletor. Now I don't know who this Skeletor guy is, but I had a little chat with one of his cronies, and if that guy was any indication, this "plan" is big trouble. Those Goblins are armed to the teeth, so I don't think they'll be stopping in for tea.

Right now they're in Fayren. I told the City Guardian about it, but I don't know just what she can do alone against something like that. Personally? If these guys try anything I plan to be right there to put a stop to it. We're on to you, Skeletor.

[Personally he's hoping that being outed might curb Skeletor's ambitions for a while...] Everyone, be careful alright? These guys are dangerous.

[Goblins? There were goblins around the outskirts of Ironhart's capital city, so she knows just how awful they can be. But Maria doesn't know Skeletor either, or what he might be capable of.]

Understood. I'll be careful if I ever end up in Fayren... Do you know anything about this... um... Skeletor's plans? Is he going to attack? What kind of defence do we even have against a goblin army?

... I don't know. I don't know any of it. All I know is that they have weapons, and that they're prone to mugging people on the road, and that Skeletor's rounding them up. Anyone who keeps a crew like that can't be good news.

As for defences, I don't know that either. Fayren's pretty old-fashioned... it's got some guards, some soldiers... I mean, it has a castle and everything... and then I guess it has the Guardian. If I knew more about the place, I could tell you more.

But the guy I fought... if Skeletor's got lackeys like that, it might just tip things in his favour.

[This is what was so frustrating about being in Genessia. When it comes to things like this, to things like Yang's disappearance, the military could respond. There would be many well-trained men and women to held defend... But here, he's alone. She's a soldier without an army. She doesn't even have a unit...]

[Well isn't this interesting news. It's the second time he's heard the name Skeletor first being from Lucy since she's been warned about him. But now he's apparently behind a good portion of his jobs in Fayren helping out merchants and the like on the road.]

So those green twerps I keep frying on the job have a boss huh. Any idea where this guy's lair is?

She won't be alone. My friends and I are in Fayren also, and we'll do everything we can to help stop whatever he's planning. I don't know much about the guy, ...aside that he ..apparently is some kind of skeleton person, but Ruby warned me about him - and a few other people - when I first arrived here.

Kinda wish I got in touch with this Ruby person then too then. Still I don't think knowing about Skeletor would have changed much...

[He smiles.] Good to hear I'm not the only one who'd come to Fayren's aid though. I'm sure they'll need all the help they can get.

Anyway, even if we didn't live in Fayren, there's no way our Guild would look the other way when something like this was going on.

Fayren is one of the sister-cities off of Genessia. There are a number of archways that connect them. They're kind of like portals, and from what I can tell every city is very different.

You've got Genessia, the central city, then you have Nova City, Fayren, Everglade, and Attleton.

I only arrived here in this strange dimension, so do pardon my ignorance. I haven't had the chance to travel far beyond this Genessia's borders, but I'm glad to know there are other places. Somehow...

[ Great. Another fight. Zeref just can't be left in peace, can he? He may not be quite as reluctant as he was before to kill, but that doesn't mean he'd actively seek one out. Of course, if anyone does come pick a fight with him, they deserve a Darwin Award. ]

She's currently enjoying my hospitality and will be for some time. So unless you wish to share her fate, I would suggest that you don't try to get in my way again.

Aside from being armed to the teeth? Uh... [Honestly, that jarred Vyse a bit. Is that not reason enough?] Well they're violent and unpredictable normally. But now they're under some precise leadership. It's like taking a storm and directing it - focusing it.
