[Action]

[It was night time in Genessia and in the Bay, a new resident has woken up. This time, a middle-aged man has just woken up from his pod and right now, he was completely confused at his new surroundings.]

Huh? This isn't my lab. How did I get here?

[Sure, he didn't remember when he gone home to his lab beforehand. However, he did remember that he talked to his former lab assistant, Alain before the finals where he was about face against Ash Ketchum. After that, he remembered nothing until when he woke up, he found himself lying on a cocoon inside a cave with a box lying on his chest. While he was still confused at why he was here, he remained calm as he checked through his pockets until he found a Poke Ball, causing him to sigh in relief that his Pokemon is still with him.

Eventually, after he went through the contents of the box, he left the Bay, now wearing the necklace from the box as he read through the pamphlet to get some answers on where he was right now. If you like, you can come up behind him and either help him out or say hi (or try to scare him).]

[As the video starts, everyone can see a black-haired middle-aged, yet handsome man wearing his blue long-sleeved shirt on a screen. While he was still getting used to the fact he was "kidnapped" like the woman said in the holographic video, he remained calm as he stared right at the camera.]

Hi there. My name is Augustine Sycamore and I might need some help. I was hoping if anyone might give me a tour around the city. Don't worry, I'll try to find somewhere to stay until then. Thank you in advance.

[He was about to turn off the video when he realizes something...]

One more thing, I'm also a Pokemon Professor from the Kalos region, so do Pokemon inhabit in this city as well?

[Sure, he's in another world unaware of what it contains, but since he IS the Pokemon Professor, it can't hurt to ask.]

[No kidding. As soon he heard this, Sycamore grew saddened to hear that Pokemon only exists as a fiction in Sonico's world.]

*Oh no, now Sonico felt quite miserable at seeing him look so upset about it. She bit her lip and looked at her feet, trying to think how to make it better. Eventually, she looked back up at him with a pleasant smile*

But - they must be so fascinating to see, I bet, in life...

[Despite the little disappointment he feels right now, he shrugged it off. Besides, he still got one Pokemon still on his side, so it's not a total loss.]

That's okay, don't worry about it. And if you're interested, I have a Pokemon with me to show you. Although, I don't know if her appearance may bother you.

[Forget Garchomp's appearance! Worry the fact you can't bring her out in a quiet library!]

Oh, really? I'd love to see one!

*She really would, although it would kind of freak her out seeing what she considers a 'fictional' animal in front of her in real life. Sonico glances around the library, thinking that maybe this wasn't the place for it either*

Hmm? Her appearance? Why should it? I'm sure I won't be bothered at all.

All I can say she may look fierce and scary like a dragon, but she's actually gentle.

[But thinking about this, Sycamore quietly realizes that it really might be a bad idea to pull a Garchomp out in the library, considering anyone who doesn't know Pokemon might freak out.]

Then again, maybe I should show you once we're done here...

She sounds very interesting.

*Sonico smiles and continues walking down the aisles just a couple of steps more, then spreads her arms to gesture to the place as a whole*

[Once Sonico showed the whole library, he started to wonder about this world. While he was yanked out from his home, he felt this world is the same as his own as if this is his second chance in life.]

[As he said this, he pulls out the key from the box, wondering about the living conditions and he needed a job in find a decent home.]

*Sonico had taken them back to the entrance of the library by the time he started asking about the commonspace. She glanced down at his key and smiled, amused*

Oh, the commonspace is okay. It's a standard little place and it's alright. It might not be what you're used to -" As a professor, she imagined he had a rather nice place to live. "But it's okay until you get yourself a job or find somewhere else."

Well, it sure is better than sleeping on the bench, I guess.

What about you? Did you move out of the commonspace after a few months?

Oh, definitely! There's no need to sleep on a bench.

*She smiles and leads the way out as the librarians started closing up for the night*

Yes, I did. I live in the Garden Park apartments now. They're pretty nice.

Garden Park Apartments? Do they still have a vacancy available for one person?

I'm sure they must do! Did you want to have a look at them? I can show you my apartment - I'm sure they're mostly the same.

[If the Garden Park Apartments are very nice as Sonico said, he might plan to move in there in a near future.]

*Sonico leads the way back following more or less the way they arrived at the library. Funnily enough, Garden Park apartments is suited at the gardens. She pauses when they are just a few paces from the building*
Oh - did you want to show me your pokemon before we go in?

[When they arrived at the Garden Park Apartments, Sycamore was surprised and amazed that it was located at the gardens they visited earlier. But before they moved on, Sonico then asked something regarding he promised earlier.]

Oh right. [He then pulls out his Poke Ball from his pocket as he pushes a button to enlarge it.] You might take a few steps back.

[With that said, he then threw his Poke Ball up in the air, which it popped open as it released a blue energy that transformed into a blue and yellow shark-like dragon that roared into the sky. Yet when the dragon Pokemon looked left and right, she became confused at where she was as this wasn't her trainer's laboratory. Knowing she might grow more confuse at this, Sycamore approached and patted on her snout to calm her down. The last thing he need is that she might mistake this as another one of her kidnappings (well, not Team Rocket's anyway).]

Don't worry, you're still safe, Garchomp. I'll explain what happened later. [He then turns to Sonico with a smile, hoping that she wasn't scared at Garchomp's roar earlier.] Sonico, this is my friend, Garchomp.

[As the Kalos Pokemon Professor introduce her to the young woman before her, the Mach Pokemon happily greeted her, which she managed to calm down after a short confusion.]

*Sonico does as asked and takes a couple of steps back. She isn't really sure what to expect, but it was nothing like what appeared in front of her. She gasped out in surprise more than anything, but didn't want to seem horrible or rude.

Sonico wasn't exactly scared, but she wasn't entirely comfortable with the situation either. She bit her lip as he spoke to the pokemon, then turned to try to smile at the creature*

Oh. Hello, Garchomp...

[At first, Sycamore was worried that she might scream out of fear seeing his Mach Pokemon. Thankfully, it didn't happen as Sonico instead greeted her despite her tone of discomfort.]

Not to worry, Sonico. Like I said, Garchomp may look fierce, but she has a gentle soul. [He then pats Garchomp's muzzle again, much to her delight.] Here, try petting her right here.

*Sonico stands a little awkwardly to the side as he pets the pokemon, and speaks to the creature so sweetly*

Okay...

*She eventually shuffles forward and extends her hand as though she were approaching a large dog for the first time*

[Sycamore was a little worried that she might not like his Pokemon. Thankfully, as Sonico touched the Mach Pokemon to pet her, Garchomp just lean onto her muzzle to her and happily nuzzled to her hand.]

Don't worry, that's her way of saying hello.

*She liked it, she was just so unsure of it, and worried how it would respond to her. She did her best not to tense when the pokemon leaned against her hand, but Sonico was soon petting Garchomp in return and smiling*

O-oh - hello!

[Once she petted the Mach Pokemon for real, Garchomp just growled/purred in delight as Sycamore watched in relief when he saw Sonico smiled at her.]

I think she likes you.

[He ain't kidding as Garchomp growled in agreement.]

Really?

*Sonico giggled and moved closer to Garchomp, putting a bit more effort and care into stroking her*

She's so friendly!

[Garchomp must have like Sonico very much as she lets her rubbed her muzzle more as Sycamore watched with a smile.]

Well, she was once a little rowdy back when she was a Gible, but she eventually warms up to me and everyone else.

*Sonico giggles quietly as she enjoys the mutual affection between herself and the Pokemon. Eventually, she takes her hand away, and turns to Sycamore with a bright smile*

She's adorable! You're lucky to have such a sweet pokemon. And I imagine she must be so strong and powerful too.

Thank you. To be honest, I'm also felt lucky as well. If I hadn't meet Garchomp, she would remain rowdy and aggressive as before.

[Not only that, he would have never met a friend and ally by his side no matter what.]

Of course. Thanks to her strength, she often protected me and others in any danger we faced.

[Of course, there's also her Mega Evolution, but he didn't want to mention that detail until the time is right.]
