[It was night time in Genessia and in the Bay, a new resident has woken up. This time, a middle-aged man has just woken up from his pod and right now, he was completely confused at his new surroundings.]

Huh? This isn't my lab. How did I get here?

[Sure, he didn't remember when he gone home to his lab beforehand. However, he did remember that he talked to his former lab assistant, Alain before the finals where he was about face against Ash Ketchum. After that, he remembered nothing until when he woke up, he found himself lying on a cocoon inside a cave with a box lying on his chest. While he was still confused at why he was here, he remained calm as he checked through his pockets until he found a Poke Ball, causing him to sigh in relief that his Pokemon is still with him.

Eventually, after he went through the contents of the box, he left the Bay, now wearing the necklace from the box as he read through the pamphlet to get some answers on where he was right now. If you like, you can come up behind him and either help him out or say hi (or try to scare him).]

[As the video starts, everyone can see a black-haired middle-aged, yet handsome man wearing his blue long-sleeved shirt on a screen. While he was still getting used to the fact he was "kidnapped" like the woman said in the holographic video, he remained calm as he stared right at the camera.]

Hi there. My name is Augustine Sycamore and I might need some help. I was hoping if anyone might give me a tour around the city. Don't worry, I'll try to find somewhere to stay until then. Thank you in advance.

[He was about to turn off the video when he realizes something...]

One more thing, I'm also a Pokemon Professor from the Kalos region, so do Pokemon inhabit in this city as well?

[Sure, he's in another world unaware of what it contains, but since he IS the Pokemon Professor, it can't hurt to ask.]

I think so. Did you wake up in that cave as well?

[More importantly, he wondered why a young boy like him doing here without adult supervision? He knew he was too young to be a Pokemon trainer.]

[Looks like he's in luck as he not only saw a Charizard on the screen but also the legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo! Being in shock was an understatement though as Sycamore was speechless at sight of the Genetic Pokemon, not to mention that it somehow talked like that Meowth from Team Rocket.

Thankfully, it was only a small shock as he calmed down after a few seconds.]

Um... Yes... I studied on Mega Evolution in Kalos.

[Even though he calmed down doesn't mean he didn't fully recover from the shock of seeing a legendary Pokemon.]

[Though he had seen one before, he didn't really know anything about it and only knew it as something that Ted kept around. Like a weird pet.

He was very much a young man who looked like he retained some of his baby fat, with full cheeks and a generally hefty-looking physique. In person he was decently tall, too, but despite his size his demeanor instantly gave him away as someone timid and he didn't come off as threatening at all.]

Wh-Which city? E-Everglade is dangerous and... A-and I heard Attleton is d-dangerous, too... But... But Fayren is r-really nice, and pretty, and there's l-lots of trees.

No, Pokemon. Don't tell me you haven't heard of them?

[As for the young man's question, he didn't think of that before. He wanted to check out the pamphlet first before reading the map he found by the magazine stand (and the holographic message), so other than knowing that there are four other cities near Genessia from the pamphlet, he didn't know more about them.]

Actually, I was talking about the city I'm in right now.

[Though he might take his word for it. Besides, it's too dark to even travel to those cities right now.]

Well, Pokemon Professors are considered as experts in Pokemon as well on studying all about them. As for me, I'm currently researching on Mega Evolution. Not only that, I also hand out one of the three Pokemon to beginning trainers.

[He would have shown her the three Kalos starter Pokemon, but as of right now, Garchomp is all he has in his pocket.]

As in there are no wild Pokemon living in Genessia normally.

There was one month where a bunch appeared in the area, but most had to return to their world after it was done. Only some caught by trainers got to stay.

If you mean Mega Stones and Key Stones, all I can say that most of them are found in caves and such. Though it's not an easy task to find them.

[It was true for him as it only took a while until he found the Garchompite along with his Key Stone.]
