Betelgeuse gave an elaborate shrug, because honestly, he haunted other people's houses. It a bit hard to say what he might have been given and what he might have just found laying around.

[Kodachi tilts her head a bit, she has no idea what kind of pokemon Faetan is referring to, she just knows what she knows from Brock! If it's a pinecone it's probably a grass-type and she figures can defeat that! Well.. Assuming Faetan kept it. If not, then it'd be a two on one fight. Win win!]

[Something about that spot feels nostalgic. Now she just has to decide which Pokemon she wants to open with. Her strongest Pokemon, in an attempt to blast through the match? Or her weakest in order to gauge what she's up against? ...She'll think about it on her way over.]

[Faetan is waiting with eager anticipation. She's decided which Pokemon she wants to start with. When Kodachi arrives, Faetan can be found leaning against the building wall with one leg kicked back, arms folded. She lifts her head and flashes a toothy grin.]

Sure you're ready for this?

[She gives a flick of her wrist, and shows two Pokeballs held loosely between her index, middle, and ring fingers. She'll play by the rules -- one Pokemon at a time, no outside interference. At least for now. She won't need to play dirty with someone so prissy, this'll be a cake walk!]

[Two pokeballs? Kodachi assumes this will be a 'fair' fight, but she realizes she's not really in a position where she can press any sort of advantage. Well, surely it will work itself out!

Kodachi twirls around and flings her cloak into the air, which reveals her gymasts leotard and black slippers, with a pokeball in each hand.]
