Valentine's Auction & Party!

WHERE: The Castle Royale Hotel, Genessia City.
WARNINGS: None.

The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Pink hearts and other decorations were tastefully hung and placed all over the place to help people get into that romantic type of mood. It took quite a while to decorate it all, but it would take less time to get it all down once the event was over.

Just approaching the hotel, you would be able to hear the sound of music faintly playing. The event would have been awkward if there wasn’t any DJ at all to play music to get people in the dancing sort of mood. The DJ has their little area set up so he could entertain the guests with various genres of music. Some slow, some fast, some in-between. But the one thing it has in common is it is all something you can dance to.

The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start. The GCPD are in attendance as well to help keep the peace.

[Well, that's another mystery that he might find out very soon. He just hope he won't able to come back to his world very soon.]

Um... There's sort of like a score of my tests I took in my school. Mine is mostly low, so so my Mom isn't very happy about it.

[To be honest, he's not the type to explain about this school stuff, especially to a Princess from another world.]

[Now it makes sense to her. Anastasia is reminded of her own education.]

"So, you don't do well in school? Is the work they give difficult?"

Well, my older sibs didn't have any problems in school. But for me, I guess I'm not the studying type of the family.

[It is true as he prefers video games than textbooks.]

"I think I understand what you mean. My family was still trying to see what kind of woman I would turn out to be. Like, would I be scholar? Or would I be a warrior? Many aptitude tests were inconclusive.

How many brothers and sisters do you have? I'm an only child, so I'm always curious."

[At least she understands what he feels about his school life. Like her, he's somehow conflicted in his future as well. Sure, being a spy would be a great career, but he's somehow lost at what career he might take.]

Well, I got two older brothers and only one sister. Lee is mostly good in sports, Marc is a know-it-all in my family, and Megan is a green freak and a girly-girl. No offense.

[Here, have a Princess Pout. She doesn't understand "green freak," but girly-girl is certainly something she knows.]

"And what's wrong with 'girly-girl?' Have you actually tried?"

[She's only teasing, really.]

[Once she asked that question, Tony's face turned red, who can't believed she even asked this.]

N-No! Why do you think I am? A girl?!

[Wow, good job on embarrassing the young kid, Anastasia.]

"It's a joke, Tony..."

[She honestly thought it was obvious. At least she knows she won't be a funny Queen.]

[He sighs in relief as soon Anastasia told him it was a joke. In his opinion, it really is a bad joke.]

Phew... For a second there, I thought you were serious...

But back to my siblings, although they get on my nerves sometimes, I still love them for who they are.

[Hell hath no fury like a Princess pushed past the edge.]

"It must be nice growing up with siblings, though."

[She might have a point on that. Though in his defense, she thought that he is also a "girly-girl".]

[He can agree to that. Sure, Lee, Marc, and Megan seemed annoying in his eyes, but they are family to him and nothing can change that.

However, he wonders if Anastasia has any siblings as well.]

Yeah. What about you? Do you have any older or younger sibs back home?

[She only asked if he ever tried it.]

"No. I have no brothers or sisters. I'm an only child."

Oh, I'm sorry again...

It must be a little lonely for you to live alone with your parents...

"Well, I wasn't completely alone. I had maids...and a guard...and a pet bunny my father doesn't know about."

[Yeah, it was lonely.]

But since you're in Genessia, you're not really alone in here since you got a guardian on your side, right?

[It's true considering that he did meet some other residents after his arrival.]

"I suppose so. But she recently had to go away to investigate something."

[She does have a pet, but it's difficult to have meaningful conversations with pets.]

[Once he hears this, he then wonders how to make Anastasia less lonely. Besides, he feels a little guilty of her being alone or being bid on during the date auction.

That is until he gets an idea.]

Well, what about me?

[She blinks a couple of times as she tilts her head to the side inquisitively.]

"I don't understand... What about you?"

I mean we can be friends and hang out together in your free time. You know, so you won't get lonely.

"I have no problems with that. So yes, let's be friends."

[yoyoboy]

[Well, he doesn't have a girlfriend, but at least he made a friend. Plus, he hopes that she won't be lonely.]

Cool. Then we're officially friends!

[He can't sure if he can remember this back home, but he can't wait to tell his siblings that he made a girlfriend, but just a friend-friend.]

[This is rather exciting. A friend her own age who is a boy. While Tony is not the first, he is certainly very different from Mamoru.]

"Okay, so now what?"

Maybe we can hang out at an arcade sometime. You know, after your date with a winner...

[He maybe a kid, but he still hasn't forgot her auction.]

[She wouldn't call it a date. Especially seeing who just bid on her for 377. It's going to end up being more of a philosophical discussion that makes no sense.]
