A new adventure? (Issue #1)
[ After relocating from the bay and listening to the message the young girl in the hologram had given, Hiro hadn't wasted too much time thinking about things before deciding to test out ways to use the device he'd found at his side. Everything was still kind of confusing, but at least the technology was cool! It was probably going to be a really important thing to have.
Note to self: don't lose item or delete from inventory.
It took only a few minutes to figure out the basics of the network posting system. A lot of other people seemed to be introducing themselves, so maybe that meant he should too? It was a first step, anyway. ]

Hello, Genessian people. Is that the proper way to say it? Genessian? My name is Hiro Nakamura and I come in peace! |-^)v I haven't figured out if asking you to take me to your leader is appropriate or not yet. There are lots of leaders too, right? I might cause a fight if I just asked for one...
[ The post says nothing else for about three minutes. He'd hit submit instead of making a new paragraph. ]
EDIT: I made a mistake! It wasn't supposed to send yet! >_<;;; Maybe it's better if I make a video...
b. video
[ Hiro was definitely more careful in learning about the video function than he had been with the texting part of the network. He would have to work on that more later. For now, round two! As soon as the video began Hiro was already mid-wave, smiling brightly and looking way too enthusiastic for someone who was in the situation he was. ]
Hello again. If you saw my previous network post, please ignore it so we can start over. [ He bowed quickly. ] My name is Hiro Nakamura. I'm new here. [ He held up his necklace as if that somehow proved his point. It had already found a home around his neck. ] I have lots of questions, but for the sake of letting my quest unfold properly I will only ask a few. First -- [ He held up the box that he'd found in the bay. ] These are our key items, right? Is there a reason we all get the same ones? Usually in quests everyone has a different class, so I'm not sure I understand the rules of this RPG yet. The tutorial wasn't all that long. [ He almost looked like he was pouting about it for a second. ]
I have a feeling I'll need to learn about all the different cities soon, so if you can volunteer to show me around I would be very grateful. I'm not sure how red bills translate to yen or dollars so I don't know what fair payment would be... [ Oh! He'd almost forgotten something. ] One more thing, Genessia. Do you know where to find a good diner? [ One more bow for good measure. ] Thank you!
c. action
[ After announcing himself twice, Hiro was at least sure that someone or other would respond eventually. Until then, he had a map and a bit too much curiosity. Maps are always key items, so he may as well use it. A while was spent getting his bearings a bit more, but after a bit longer it turned to aimless walking and thinking. Lots of thinking. There were some things he just couldn't ask on the network. Things about his power, mostly. Did it still work? Were others with powers here? He had wanted to inquire about his friends as well, but putting their names out might be dangerous. It would be super, duper dangerous if one of the bad guys was here. At home the heroes had won, but...
what year was it, anyway? Was this even the right timeline?
It would be really easy to bump into him right now. He wasn't paying attention at all. ]

It's the best diner and that is a totally unbiased opinion from a guy that is the chef. ]

He took off his glasses and rubbed at his eyes with the back of his hand and placed them on his face again, squinting. Nothing had changed. He wasn't imagining things. That... that without a doubt looked like him. But there was no way it was. No way. Was the real question actually about how such a good cosplayer could exist? There were discrepancies, though. Why would a cosplayer make up details if they weren't sticking to a theme? And if people were being kidnapped to end up here...
He was still staring. ]

[You are speaking in a lingo she can fully understand.]
You can find a source of information that one might need for a quest at the welcome centre. It's like the hub to get info that you would usually find in bars and the like. though in this whole situation, what classes do you think there would be in a setting based in somewhat modern day?

I play a lot. I just really love them. [She is going to think about classes now.]
I don't know, maybe you could think of some really strange classes like Dancer.

[ The more responses he got, the less he was worrying about having powers himself. Was this all just a really weird dream he was having because he'd read too many comics before bed? ]

"Certainly! I've lived here far too long for sense. I don't mind showing you around. For payment, you'll have to tell me the meaning of both your names.
Oh! And I like the Bright Sky Diner myself."
That must be a really good diner. You are the second person to recommend it to me!

Hallo, Hiro-san. I'm the Doctor. As I'm pretty new myself I have no idea where anything is but I wouldn't mind looking around with company if you've got nothing better to do. If nothing else we could find a karaoke place.
Video
Oh. He should probably make a normal expression again. ]
Hiro-san? You know about honorifics? [ That made him smile. ] Hello to you too, Doctor-san! You are really good at guitar! [ Containing himself was hard when he might be talking to yet another legend! ] Company is always better than going alone. Karaoke is also a good back up plan.
