[ waking up in a strange place with no recollection of how he got there? must be tuesday.

he's already heard the long speech from the hologram, read up on how to use this weird-ass phone, and successfully wandered around the city for a solid two hours before making an appearance on the network. ]

Hello, my name is Hawke. I'm going to spare you all the lost and confused newbie bit and cut right to the chase:

I need a drink. Or ten. If anyone can direct me to the nearest tavern, I would appreciate it. [ there's too much shit happening at home, too much shit happening here, and he does not want to deal with this right now. he'll figure his shit out later when he's good and drunk. ] The seedier the better, and if anyone wants to join me - you're more than welcome to. Less pathetic if I'm not drinking alone.

[ he looks ready to end it there, then quickly adds: ]

Also, if any of my fellow Kirkwallers (Kirkwallians? Kirkwallites?) are here as well, try and get a hold of me on this thing. ... And try not to break anything.

[ HAWKE OUT. ]

Alright. Took a bit of time, but I've finished it now.

If there be anyone interested in magical arts, spell craftin', wards, magic books and various magicians pariphinalia, I've got a shop now in the Glades.

Cloak and Dagger, for anyone who'd like an item. Tis but a small place, but it houses well enough what's needed at a fair price, and all of it be hand crafted. None of this garbage plastic skulls and red food dye in Sprite shite.

And if I hear but a single complaint what about this white collar clashin' with the shop, you're more than welcome to come by and tell it to me face. I'll be waitin' for ye.

Who: Team Dragon Age: Merrill, Cole, and Alleyana.
When: Slightly backdated to just after the latest issue of the newspaper.
What: Bounty log, and Cole's entrance to the game!
Fayren

Cursed Blade – A man has come into contact with a cursed sword. The sword apparently housed a demon, and picking it up allowed the man to be possessed. He has extreme strength and magic at his disposal. Defeating the man and breaking the blade is the only way to free him. A level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can accomplish this.

It was a small keep. Stone walls, wooden doors, thick mud. There was a final check of equipment, and Alleyana rolled her shoulders with a crunching pop before bracing herself and kicking in the wooden door. It hit the wall beside it with a thunderous crack! and the Inquisitor stepped inside.

"Hey, ass-demon!" she taunted, voice echoing loud and deliberate. Focus on her, not on the mage behind her. Focus on her. "Let's fucking dance!"

There was movement on the stairs going up; the crackle of fire as a ball of it launched at her head. Alley ducked behind her shield and charged forward and up the stairs to close the gap. She was very good at grabbing and keeping an enemy's attention -- at keeping it off her companions, to give them space.

Now to see what Merrill did with it.

Ah… h-hello…? [Pause. Litchi clears her throat, feeling foolish, but still determined to try to get some information about what this place is. The pamphlet might not be entirely accurate.] I suppose I had better introduce myself, hm?

My name is Litchi Faye-Ling. I…

[I’m a scientist… or a military doctor… or is it a teacher? Wait, that was it…]

...Well. Back at home, I owned a clinic, although I’m not sure how much that matters anymore. [Soft cough. Sheepish smile.] But I’m sure I’ll find something similar to occupy myself with here.

I don’t suppose the city Kagutsuchi sounds familiar to anyone…? I can’t help but wonder if there are any familiar faces around.

Hey folks. Let's do an informal poll. What's your favorite literary genre?

[Private to Scribes and Scripts Employees]

[Oh boy. Once again, Dairine has been thrust into another responsibility. After some pondering and a deep breath, she creates a filter for her fellow staff. She can handle this. Running a store can't be much harder than moving a planet, right?]

[And thus a red-headed young teen appears on the screen with her arms folded in what she hopes is a professional-looking fashion.]

Evening. I have a brief message for you both.

As you may have heard, our previous owner Levy McGarden has gone home. She has left me in charge of Scribes and Scripts. With this change in position, it seems like a good time to introduce or reintroduce myself.

My name is Dairine Callahan. Before I arrived here, I lived in Hempstead, New York. I've worked at the Scribes and Scripts for a little over a year now. I intend to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.

In addition, this change opens up the assistant manager position. If you are interested, feel free to contact me.

[Private to Kaitou Kid]

What's up, stranger? I hear you know some teen detectives.

[Nora has a lot of stuff on her mind, and while she'd love to talk to someone about all of it, there's no one around. Either they're dealing with their own stuff, or she just doesn't know them well enough to just talk about her more personal problems.]

what do you do when you want to talk about something but no one's really around to talk to?

[Keeping the question anonymous because she doesn't want any of her friends to think she doesn't trust them. Which is kind of the case, but she doesn't want to make it a big deal.]

Video | Early Morning

Oh, how interesting! [Someone has been poking around with her new phone. And accidentally pressed too many buttons, turning on the video function without realizing. Have a very-too-close close-up of her face! Also, like someone read any of the pamphlets or anything. She doesn't even realize one has money in it.]

I guess this is how this works. You know, for all I've spent trying to fix the Eluvian I have back home, I never really gave much thought about how it would work. And there isn't anyone around I can ask either, not like here. Not that there could be, just it would be nice. Still, the surface is so pretty! How does it manage to reflect anything...

[She will finally lean away from the communicator, laughing awkwardly.]

Hah, oops. I'm rambling. I always ramble when I'm nervous. I don't mean to, it just happens. I'll just...stop talking now. Yes.

[She fumbles with the communicator, eventually dropping it and the fall turning it off.]

Action | Throughout the Day

[Why anyone thought it would be a good idea to let Merrill wander around any of the cities unaccompanied or without some string to find her way is anyone's guess. She did pick up a map and she can be found throughout Genessia and other cities staring at it; sometimes it's upside down, sometimes she's not even looking at the map side of it. Yeah.]

How odd. No matter where I go, it always says that I'm "right here". But I know I haven't seen that street a second time. Unless I have and the bushes are moving on me. Can they do that here?

[All this talk about the Everglades as of late had spurned the fox's interest in this gloomy region.

He arrived here by foot after sundown and found himself already longing for the gentle forests of Fayren. The Everglades is a land cursed by darkness and forged by magic. The oppressive fog that chokes the region is almost too thick for even his eyes to see. It's a sinister place that looks only vaguely similar to that of fairer Attleton but not by much. The foulness of this city honestly doesn't bode well for anything remotely human.

Tsukuyomi honestly looks out of place as he meanders along the street immaculate in white with his black sword at hand. He had no other reason to come here other than to ease his nagging curiosity. He caught a glimpse of people here and there but most where quiet hesitant to converse with an outsider. The ominous flickering of the nearby street lamps left little to be desired by anyone visiting this ghostly town.

Finally reaching a landmark in the form of a grand manor obstructed with ivy, the fox deity pauses as he pulls out his phone to record his adventure thus far.]

So this is the Everglades?

[He questions as he glances down at the cracked screen of his phone. In the upper corner of the screen there's easy to see that glass there is chipped thanks to Tsukuyomi's carelessness.]

Not much to look at in the terms of beauty but certainly a rather interesting abode. Quite humble in a sense but still quite sinist---

[The loud cawing of a crow nearby caused him to jump a little. It seems that even a former deity like him can get a tad anxious.]

H-Hold your tongues. None of you witnessed that.
