Check out these losers. )

-----------

[When the feed turns on, the first to be seen is a silver-haired man. He nods once he has the device working, then puts it down in order for his other companions to be seen as well. Joining him is a woman with long, wavy hair, and a man with a rather stylish coat. Ludger is standing between the two of them, his arms crossed as he exchanges glances with them before speaking up.]

We have some questions for everyone out there. Just the basics, mostly, but we were wondering about certain jobs, and food- [That’s when the woman seemed to poke her head in.] Yes please! I’m starving over here! [Milla… You don’t need to eat anymore. Why this?]

...Right. So I- [Ludger tried to start again, but was interrupted once more.]

Hey, Ludger, why don’t you let me make an introduction? The name’s Alvin, and I’m a mercenary. Don’t let the title discourage you. Mercenary business isn’t always pretty work, but that’s why there are people like me to do the job for you.. [Smiles his most amicable smile. You need money to eat food Milla.] Oh right… I suppose money is necessary for food…

[Ludger groans at the two, since they were interrupting him. He tries once again.]

Ah. I guess I did forget introductions. I’m Ludger, and this here is Milla. Like I was saying before…. I’m looking for a restaurant that will take me, and also a place for mercenary work. And…. [As for Milla… well….] ….just those two things, for now.

Ludger…. Fooood [Milla’s stomach is complaining.] Let me see that.

[After a moment, you’ll see a close up of the woman. Milla, this isn’t that hard to work…]

Hey! Somebody has to have a job for us to do and a good place to eat. [..... Is this working.] Hello?!

[And suddenly the feed cut off. Good job, Milla. +A on technology. You earned a “You Tried” sticker.]

[OOC: The action is mostly the three of them, but everyone is open to comment on the video feed itself. Let us know if you have anyone you’d like to tag directly, otherwise we will probably threadjack as needed.

Also, for post reference, Milla is this color. Alvin’s dialogue will be this color. And last but not least, Ludger is this color! :D]

Konoka Konoe
Who: Konoka and Karla (Pidonus is free to stalk)
What: The blind date!
Where: Throughout Genessia City
When: Feb 16th
Warnings: None really.

On the outside, Konoka looked like a woman without a care in the world. Though the sky was cloudy and the air pretty cold, she found a good spot to wait for her supposed date. She was dressed in a pretty long-sleeved blouse under a jacket, a frilled skirt and knee high boots, supported with tights to keep the chill out, yet look fashionable. Granted, some of this had come borrowed, but she still had a good stipend as she never really spent much after meeting Pidonus.

But on the inside, Konoka was still nervous. Aside from being reminded of an old friend back at home, she had been somewhat hasty on making a bid for Karla, and had won just by... being the only person who bid. But aside from 'only knowing the blade', she still had little clue on what her date was like. She could at least expect someone who probably wasn't very open. Fortunately, she had good experience dealing with that. There was no guarantee however, that it would translate 1:1! She hoped that the date would at least go well.

Question was, did Konoka even want something beyond this? Well, that's what this date was for, right?

She took this time to rise from her seat again, pacing back and forth to the point that she likely didn't notice when she was being approached.

Mewtwo
22 February 2016 @ 03:10 pm

[Mewtwo appears on the network today, distracted as per usual sicne the Death's Hand incident has started, going over public security footage with a fine toothed comb in addition to his normal duties.]

With the influx of newcomers that have found themselves in Genessia, I feel it necessary to provide a sort of report on the status of Fayren, as well as an introduction.

My name is Mewtwo, I work as deputy guardian of Fayren under Satori Komeiji. Currently, Fayren is dealing with a group who is targeting magic users for random acts of violence. However, the incidents are rare, and the situation is being investigated by myself and a rather sizable amount of volunteers. There are also safe-havens that have opened their doors to magic users, and as a whole Fayren is relatively safe.

Also I would like to reiterate that any information regarding the whereabouts of any member of the group calling themselves Hands of Decay should be directed to myself, and that there is a standing reward for any information that leads to the apprehension of these criminals. Thank you for your time.

This is Armin Arlert, acting CEO of the Schnee Company. I'd like to announce the grand opening of our new Fayren Branch, located at [address], near the archway entrance. We at the Schnee Company work to provide information and services to help newcomers to Fayren adjust to a more traditional technology level, travel services, help finding housing and employment within the city, basic maintenance of city events and planning, as well as travel planning and assistance with public transportation services. A subsidiary of the welcoming branch and headquarters in Genessia, this branch of Schnee Company focuses on Fayren-relevant services. We also offers workshops on horseback riding, agriculture, magic, and more in addition to our usual services.

In addition, I'd like to announce some openings within the company. We have an HR position available, as well as several security, receptionist, and maintenance positions to fill at all three of our branches. In addition, we have several Fayren-specific positions available for workshop leaders for the topics mentioned above.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to apply for a position, please contact me.

[The video feed snaps on and settles on a female figure lying on the ground. It's hard to say where it is, except it is definitely outside of the city. It looks as though she's been tied up with two of the cords that someone repurposed from their maneuver gear at the last minute. Though judging from the way Petra is crying and shaking she's likely too scared to do anything even if she could.

A familiar voice speaks composedly before the video shifts to an even more familiar ( to the right people anyway) pair of glacial blue eyes.]

I don't like small talk. Almost as much as I don't like surprises and idiots, so I'll get to the point. Out of the three of your people that approached me, only one was not foolish enough to come unarmed. So consider this your own fault. [One hand reaches up to casually brush some blonde hair away from her eyes. She shoots Petra an annoyed look. Really, all she did was put her to sleep. All these tears are disgraceful for a soldier. Then again, she learned at a young age that tears were useless. She never had the time to afford being soft.]

I haven't harmed her and I have no interest in doing that. What would the point be? I'm stranded here. And I have no orders. And no way to carry them out even if I did have orders. [For a moment the mask slips and Annie looks as cornered as she feels. Disgusted even, but with what she is doing or something else? But then the self-possessed mask is back.]

I'll give her back. All I want in return is to know which of you are here so that I know what to expect. Like I said, I don't like surprises. Cooperation would be appreciated this time. If I have to do this the hard way it will be unpleasant for both sides and I'd like to avoid that.

[The feed cuts.]
