Hey everyone!

[ Konoka's on screen once more. If someone knows her, she might look like she hasn't gotten a lot of sleep... but that's only if you squint real close. ]

At long last, I have managed to get the Heals on Wheels successor off the ground. I am here to announce the name "Helping Everyone At Life", or HEAL, for the short and sweet. To put things simply, HEAL is a cross city organization that can be called upon by City Guardians and medical organizations during times of crisis, especially when funneling people to Genessia or Nova City's hospital isn't a fast enough option. We can also be called upon by private citizens should single-person emergencies occur, especially when wounded appear in the Bay.

This is a volunteer organization, so anyone capable of healing is welcome! Please talk to me about openings for whichever city you live in!

There's been a lot of talk lately about Heroes and villains, and the labels that society puts on us and blah bla blah-de-blah. Not saying those conversations aren't worth having, but I'm not gonna lie, I kinda hate those conversations.

However, because of my position of Guardian, I figured I should probably weigh in on the whole thing. I'm no hero. I'm not a villain. I'm the demon next door. So long as you stay in your lane and don't start shit in Attleton, we're cool. But kick up a ruckus in my back yard, and I don't care who you are or why, I will put you in the dirt.

[Dante groans as he tosses his phone across his desk, propping his feet up on said desk, and casting a glance at Toshinori who he'd been put in charge of protecting for the time being.]

Sorry 'bout that. It felt warranted, given everything. I stand by it though. Never really been a fan of heroes really.

A. The fears of one Mare
That day had been going well for her. Li had been swimming, done some hunting and generally enjoyed being in the sun. Since her curse was lifted, Li's life has been... peaceful. 

However, once night fell, Li started hearing something just on the edge of her hearing. Something strange and.. very terrifyingly familiar. She tensed up, shifting back into her equine form just in time to see a hooded figure approaching her with a book in hand and a long braid of reddish brown hair trailing from beneath the hood. The figure was chanting and raising its hand towards Li as she backed up and let out a loud terrified bellowing neigh before rearing up.

The vibrations from her hooves hitting the ground could probably be felt from several yards. It felt as if an entire herd of horses may have reared up and hit down at the same time as her angry terrified cries scared birds from the trees...


B. The race to get away from the Nightmares
Sometime later,  a black mare was tearing through the woods at a pace that might make anyone wonder what was wrong as she wove in and out of the trees as if the very hounds of hell were after her...

At some point she stumbles and ends up ramming her shoulder into a tree, forcing her out of her equine form and into her human one from the pure shock of the hit. Lithium slides down the side of the tree to brace her back against it, just curling up into a ball among the trees roots, quivering as she tries to make herself as small as possible, her breath ragged as she just...tries to comprehend what the hell is going on.

[Live from Everglade its no shock Tulip is in crisis. She's being chased by what looks like a really tall cowboy but this one has serious firepower. Hot on his heels is a woman in white, the same one that shot her. Some whispers can be heard from the two but Tulip is trying to reload her shotgun. And this was supposed to be a low key bounty to boot!]

One of you should be in the bottom of a swamp! [The other is the real problem, the nut in white.]

[OOC Note: The cowboy is the Saint of Killers and the woman in white is Featherstone from The Grail, the one that shot Tulip. Both are AMC verse canon wise.]

[The feed opens up with Gale sitting on his desk in the Skyrise as always. His face is a stark contrast to how he appeared on the network the last time... although it looks like he had some kind of professional makeup work done recently. Wow, that mascara really brings out his eyes. His coat even has a new patch on its left sleeve.]

It's that time again for a message from your local Nova Guardian. First, as has been previously mentioned, I regret to inform that Ayame has departed back to her home world. Which means Nova is now solely in my hands once again. Sorry 'bout that.

[For having lost his friend, he seems to be in an okay mood. But he had his grieving time. He doesn't want Ayame, Faye or even Andy to come back just to slap him for not doing his job.]

Second, Trunks will be joinin' the deputy team. And if there are any other takers, I may be able to take on one more deputy.  The loss of Ayame unfortunately opened up the funds for it.

Third, I would like to announce the formation of the Mobile Task Force, codename Stormrider. There've been numerous talks in the past about a mobile unit to provide aid to cities and its respective Guardians in times of crisis, and it was about damn time for that team to come to fruition. With the aid of Genessia Guardian Satou, this team will now be lookin' for recruits. There is a mandatory training test in Genessia's Training Centre to best evaluate personal skills so they can be properly utilized, as well as to ensure that the individual is capable of working in a team. Teamwork is critical, and if you cannot work with others, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

[His eyes narrow then.]

But know that this is not a vigilante team, nor is it a team of "heroes," this is a team to aid the citizenry who cannot otherwise protect themselves should a Guardian find their scope and reach compromised. Barrier breaches and other worldly threats have happened before, we need to be ready when it inevitably happens again. They, of course, will be expected to follow the law to the fullest extent and have no special permissions unless otherwise authorized.

That said, come June when someone takes over my position, I will be shiftin' my focus previously reserved for Guardianship over to Stormrider. I will be sending out text notices regarding the MTF following this message.

[That's right folks, Gale won't be running again. He had his fill of campaigning bullshit. Politics are the worst, and he hates making these "professional" broadcasts. Ugh make them stop. He just wants to mix drinks and dance again.]

Ah. And given the recent anonymous report about potential monsters on the loose, Nova's team will be extra vigilant in case one of these creatures turns up here. Don't hesitate to call the Guardian's office if you see one.
