Christmas Eve Party!

WHO: Anyone willing to behave themselves for a nice Christmas party!
WHAT: Weiss's Housewarming/Christmas Eve Party
WHEN: Christmas Eve
WHERE: Team RWBY's new house
WARNINGS: Mistletoe is hung in one of the corners! Avoid it if you don't wanna get smooched! (But seriously if anyone has anything here that needs a warning please tell me.)

It's Christmas Eve and it's cold outside! Perhaps you should come in, enjoy some refreshments, chat, sing a song at the karaoke station, or open up your Secret Santa gifts? There's plenty of room to wander around and plenty of fun to be had! While furniture doesn't seem to be overly plentiful, there's a coat closet near the entrance and plenty of room for party guests in the family room, kitchen (where the food is!) and breakfast nook, and the outside deck. There are Christmasy pine garlands with signs that say "Guests are asked to remain in the party area! Thank you!" cutting off rooms beyond those and classy decorations adorning the designated party area (plus doilies at the dining table). At the center of the family room is a well-lit Christmas tree.

Naturally, if you have another location that you would like to direct your thread, you're welcome to make a thread of your own-- but if it's in an area that's off limits, unless your character is accompanied by one of Team RWBY (or are going to the restroom- which hopefully there won't be any threads for that) your character will get told to go back to the party if your character is caught! If they get caught more than once, they may be asked to leave. :( We don't want that!

The party evening will round out with Weiss and Blake singing a duet of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for everyone, so please have a Merry Christmas! (And happy all holidays!)

It's understandable. There's a rather big difference between artificial warmth and then warmth that actually feels nice from the sun or body heat.

[With a small sigh, she shrugged.] Oh well, the sooner spring and summer come, the better.

Mm, it's a little strange to say the least. But not all too bad.

I'd...rather sort of be in bed curled up. [Slides the piece of wood in to the fire carefully, holding her hands out to warm them up a bit.]

Having fun so far, yourself?

That's right. I can wait until I get the chance to see you in a bikini. [Because a swim trip with her was going to happen. He was sure one of these cities had a beach in them somewhere. He slides closer and places his hands overtop of hers and attempts to warm them up.]

You want to be curled up in bed? With how much you fight sleep sometimes, it's amazing that you could ever want to be there.

Of course. I like this holiday and party. I had a lot of fun picking out your gifts too.

[Can't help but quirk a brow at that.] I'm afraid you'll have a long wait for that. Who knows though, maybe some of these portal archways open up to a tropical place.

[Gives a faint blush when he takes her hand, her own actually feeling more like ice than anything. She certainly doesn't do cold very well.] Sleep or no sleep, it's comfortable to be warm even if I'm just reading or laying there.

Mm? My gifts? You didn't have to give get me anything, silly. I thought you were a secret Santa to someone else, too?

You are tempting me to go and seriously look around these archways for a place like that. [Because if he could find a place like that now..he'd most certainly drag her to it. He rubs her hands to try to warm them up faster. Hers were colder than is.]

True. Your bed is pretty comfortable. [Speaking from experience of course.]

I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. You'll like what I got you, trust me.

Well, I certainly would not mind the warmth. [Looks down at his hands and gives a small squeeze.] I-It's okay... I tend to always have cold hands in the winter. Sometimes I get teased for being dead. [But the warmth from friction of his hands was feeling better than the warmth the fire had to offer.]

I got a new one, too. It's a little bigger so you're welcome to sleep more comfortably in it, if you'd like. Much more plush and comfortable than the one in the apartment.

As long as you didn't spend too much money. But, thank you. I got some things for you, too.

And that blanket I told you about. I'm sure you'd want it more, now that it's getting colder. At least...I hope so.

I’m thinking that maybe I should go out and get you a pair of gloves to add to the things I gave you for Christmas. [He never realized her hands got this cold. He continues to rub them until he can feel some real warmth in them.]

Maybe I can stay over tonight just to see how comfortable the bed really is. [It would be worth it not having to go all the way back home once the party was over.]

And of course I do. Really, I want any gift that you are willing to give me. But especially things that will keep me warm.

[With a small laugh, she shakes her head.] I'll be fine. I'm kind of used to it. But the warmth is very much appreciated.

[After stealing a glance at the people mingling, she turns back to look up at him.] I'd like that very much if you did. You've certainly spoiled me with having comfortable warmth beside me when I sleep.

Mm good. I did keep a few boxes of those chocolate strawberries for you, too. They smelled so wonderful and even had some chocolate bananas.

You say you'll be fine, but its still not going to stop me from buying some for you. I want you to be as warm as possible when I'm not around.

[Some of the clothes he got her will help with that.]

Well I know what I'm going to be feeding you and be fed in return. [He'd had chocolate strawberries before, and they were always good. He was looking forward to having some more.]

You're being rather doting and spoiling me. [She gives a small smile and moves from the fireplace to sit closer to him. And by sitting closer, she sits sideways on his lap since his warmth is rather nice and always has been.]

I certainly was surprised at how good they were. I had never tried white chocolate before, either so that was a surprise.

[Looking him over, she tugs gently on his vest.] You do look nice tonight. I thought you'd be in your regular attire.

I've never had it before either. Seen them before, but never tried them.

[Sun loops his arms loosely around his waist.] Well apparently there was a dress code and I didn't want to get thrown out. Plus, I don't think Neptune was going to let me leave the house if I didn't put on the clothes he got for me.

[Being all dressy still didn't feel like it suited him, but he thought it suited Blake pretty well. The red dress really made her stand out and worked well with her in his opinion.]

I hope you're alright with rich food then, so I've heard they were.

[Tilts her head and smooths the fold of his vest before giving a small smirk.] Well he sure has an eye for dressing you. But, I understand; Weiss made sure we all had the proper attire for the festivities, whatever those are.

[Looks down at herself and tugs her dress skirt down a bit, huffing.] Not sure how people wear these all the time.

Yeah, I sometimes wish he didn't have that eye. I just know he is going to try to get me to wear things like this more often since I've done it this once. [But if Blake liked it..then maybe he could see himself wearing stuff like this more.]

Pants are way more comfortable, huh? [He did like her in the dress, though. It showed off her beautiful legs well.]

Sounds like he got all the fashion senses but you got all the dance moves. At least you have that one up on him. [She's gonna have to give Neptune a thumbs up for dressing Sun so nicely. It is a nice and rare treat but of course she wants his comfort more than a fashion statement.

Looking down at her legs, she nods while tugging on the hem again, lifting it slightly over her thighs only to drop the fabric back down with a sigh.] Way more comfortable. I just feel a bit silly in dresses.

[Sun would take being a good dancer over being a good dresser any day.]

You wear dresses well, though. And red works really well on you too. [Much different from her usual black and white attire, not that he didn't like her usual look. It's just that red was one of his favorite colors.]

[she gives a small laugh at that. His normal attire was indeed something she grew to like, what with his chest showing and everything, but seeing him dressed up almost made her want to just pull it off of him.

Wit ...that must be the punch taking over her mind given it was spiked.

Clearing her throat she gave a small nudge of her head to his.]| Well I'm just glad you're here... It is nice having a bigger place but I'll miss having you next door and coming through my window.

Yeah..I'm going to miss living next to you guys. I only moved into the apartment that I was in so I could be close to you all. [Mostly Blake, but he wanted to be near everyone else too.] It was really just me, your team and Ozpin here from our world and it was lonely living off by myself.

But Neptune is here now, so I won't be lonely. But I will miss having such easy access to you from my room.

Well, you do know you're always welcome to my room whenever you'd like.
[For some reason she was feeling overly affectionate, maybe the punch or how open she felt with him but she leaned her forehead against his.]

Plus I'll miss you're warmth.

I know. And you can still expect me to crawl into your window any chance that I get. [That wasn't going to stop, it just wasn't going to be as easy as it was before.]

I'll sleep over often so you don't have to miss it as much.

Giving a small laugh she nudged her head to his again before opening her eyes to glance at him. "You sure I'm not being a clingy girlfriend?"

I'm sure. But if you are, then I'm probably being a clingy boyfriend too. [Because he wanted to be around her just as much as she wanted to be around him.]

Well, not at all.

Ever since we've met you've always just kind of been there. Not having you around became a bit odd? I wouldn't call it clingy but- eager perhaps?

It was flattering because- I never really had someone seemingly WANT to be around me so much.

Nothing has made me happier than being around you. [He gives her a little kiss on the cheek.] You're just going to have to get used to someone wanting to be around you so much now. You've got great friends and a boyfriend now. And we love ourselves some Blake.

[Watches him for a moment before her arms wrap tight around his neck and she hugs herself close to him. It was nice to have someone to do this with and their chemistry was certainly rather high since their meeting.

Someone showing her such unconditional love- she thought it was only in fairy tales and books.]

Stay with me tonight? Please?

I was already planning to, unless you decided that you wanted to sleep in your bed all by yourself tonight. [He loops his tail loosely around her and then gives her another little kiss on the cheek.]

It'll be nice to see how your new bed compares to your old one, too.

[Gives a small laugh when he wraps his tail around her waist. She nudges her head against his lovingly.]

I have my own electric blanket, too. So thankfully, we'll be rather warm on this cold night.
