Christmas Eve Party!

WHO: Anyone willing to behave themselves for a nice Christmas party!
WHAT: Weiss's Housewarming/Christmas Eve Party
WHEN: Christmas Eve
WHERE: Team RWBY's new house
WARNINGS: Mistletoe is hung in one of the corners! Avoid it if you don't wanna get smooched! (But seriously if anyone has anything here that needs a warning please tell me.)



It's Christmas Eve and it's cold outside! Perhaps you should come in, enjoy some refreshments, chat, sing a song at the karaoke station, or open up your Secret Santa gifts? There's plenty of room to wander around and plenty of fun to be had! While furniture doesn't seem to be overly plentiful, there's a coat closet near the entrance and plenty of room for party guests in the family room, kitchen (where the food is!) and breakfast nook, and the outside deck. There are Christmasy pine garlands with signs that say "Guests are asked to remain in the party area! Thank you!" cutting off rooms beyond those and classy decorations adorning the designated party area (plus doilies at the dining table). At the center of the family room is a well-lit Christmas tree.

Naturally, if you have another location that you would like to direct your thread, you're welcome to make a thread of your own-- but if it's in an area that's off limits, unless your character is accompanied by one of Team RWBY (or are going to the restroom- which hopefully there won't be any threads for that) your character will get told to go back to the party if your character is caught! If they get caught more than once, they may be asked to leave. :( We don't want that!

The party evening will round out with Weiss and Blake singing a duet of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for everyone, so please have a Merry Christmas! (And happy all holidays!)

Pretty much just everyone from Remnant, plus whoever you guys wanted to bring along. But that'd still be a lot of people to fit into one apartment. It's not the biggest space.

Believe me, I know. I actually held a meeting at someone's apartment before Ruby was here. I was team leader for a while since she wasn't there. It.. didn't quite go as planned, but it wasn't a total disaster.

Oh yeah? What happened?

[whiteas]

I had a group help a man from the White Fang try to save his first human friend from Lucifer, prince of hell, and it turned out it was on said man's false information and she didn't even want to be rescued, she was just fine being under the supervision of a man who tried to destroy the city and blew up a hospital.

[ It was an experience alright. ]

Wow. That uh... That does sound like a mess.

[whiteas]

The mission was a success right up until the result at least?

[ Does that count for anything..? ]

[broceanking]

Well, I guess it wasn't a total mess then.

[whiteas]

Yes. But the point was, having all those people in that little apartment? I could've stood to obtain a larger venue.

[broceanking]

Luckily, when I eventually cram everyone into my apartment for a party... It's not likely it'll end that badly. Or, at least, I hope it won't.

[whiteas]

[ Disaster only strikes when they go out with Team RWBY, not the only way around. ]

Now I just need to find an excuse to throw said party.

There are plenty of reasons to throw parties. It just depends on when you want to do it.

There are. But I probably won't do it for a couple of months.

[He's not going to say that he just about drained his bank account, too. This is what he gets for insisting on buying his friends nice things.]

[ He doesn't have to say anything. Weiss knows how it is. ]

Too many parties back to back would be too much anyway.

[broceanking]

Yeah. Everyone needs time to reset after each party.

[whiteas]

Just so you know, when you do have your party, I'm going to enjoy it and relax the entire time.

[ Because getting to relax during her own parties is less common of a thing sometimes. Especially when there aren't school staff around to help keep everything in order. This one is still much better than the last one in terms of work, though, since her team was there to help. ]

[broceanking]

I would hope that's what you'd be doing.

[whiteas]

I mean instead of watching like a hawk to make sure everything's well-stocked, nothing's on fire, no one's spiking the drinks, all the drinks are on coasters so our furniture doesn't get ruined, there aren't any spills, no one's stealing anything... and so on. It'll be very refreshing not to have to worry about that.

[broceanking]

That'll be my job. Although, to be honest, I probably won't be worried about most of those things.

[whiteas]

Well you don't have a new house that's hopefully going to need to stand for years to come.

[broceanking]

Nor do Sun and I really own anything that either of us would be worried about.

[Except for all of Neptune's clothes. But clothes are generally easy to replace.]

[whiteas]

Well, you... might.

[ Ahahaha she did kind of get him something nice for Christmas, after all.. ]

[broceanking]

Well, nothing that wouldn't be on my person. And it'd take someone pretty skilled to steal something right off me.

[And he's pretty aware to that sort of thing, being bffs with a habitual thief.]

[whiteas]

That's true. In that case...

[ She's going to go grab his gift for him from underneath the tree. When she comes back, she holds out a small box to him. ]

Merry Christmas.

[broceanking]

[He takes the small box, and starts to unwrap it carefully.]

You really didn't have to get me anything.

[And then he gets the box open and sees what's inside. This results in him frowning at her.]

You really shouldn't have spent so much on me, Weiss!
