3. Mushroom, Chestnut, and Camembert Puff Pastry Parcels (Vegetarian Option) w/ White Cabernet
(All items served with a choice of garden salad or spicy cucumber salad.)
(Wines will be substituted for those underaged or upon request with a choice of water or white grape juice.)

7pm:

Choices:
1. Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups - Design ref. A dark chocolate balloon cup coated with finely chopped hazelnuts so that look like stars in the night sky. Inside, it's filled with a layer of nutella mousse and topped with a fudge frosting and a piped tempered white chocolate star.
2. Coconut Pannacotta and Pineapple Stars. Design ref. A creamy yet light pannacotta dish with star-cut pineapples with caramelized edges, covered with a thin and crunchy spun sugar display.
3. Tiramisu Glasses - Design ref. Tall glasses filled with a marscapone whipped cream, a layer of coffee-soaked lady fingers, and topped with puff pastry stars and berries.
(Dessert is served with a choice of a 6oz coffee, tea of choice, or hot cocoa.)

"Hmmm Alright. What if I make a promise too then? Just like you did." Natsu then proposed completely serious about the solution. Natsu had no problem with promising to not allow himself to be pulled away by another. And it worked to soothe him last time so maybe it would work if he did it this time.

She glanced up at him in surprise, "A promise...?" And he was even taking the situation seriously. She wasn't sure what she expected, actually. "Okay, um...what kind of promise?"

"I promise I'm not gonna get taken away by some random girl or lady that comes up to me outta the blue. Like I'd be caught dead anywhere near here without you being with me." Natsu pointed out the infallible logic, scoffing at the very notion while pulling Lucy a little closer without actually intending to.

She's not sure what makes her blush more, the promise, or the statement he added afterwards. Or maybe the fact that he'd pulled her closer, unintentionally. Or maybe it was the way she naturally leaned into him when he pulled her closer. "... deal." Though his promise wasn't helping to discourage her from thinking of the not-date as a date. It was however, enough to reassure her, from that happy smile that replaced the awkward one. ... stop it Lucy, this is not a date.

It was probably all of those things knowing Lucy's trend to overthink things that happened. Natsu had no such concerns though. He was perfectly happy to see that smile make a comeback on Lucy's features.

"Alright! Even if I waws already thinking this way from the start you know."

She really should learn to stop overthinking things. But that was probably never going to happen. "You... You were?" Well she shouldn't be surprised by that, right? After all, they've been separated for a whole year and it is true what they say about absence making the heart grow fonder. And it was already plenty fond before they were apart. She's not sure how she managed to keep from throwing her arms around him the minute she saw him, but now - sometimes she felt like doing that and never letting go.

In any case, she couldn't help but feel incredibly happy... and incredibly flustered. She should be pointing out that he was holding her kind of close, shouldn't she? Although she suspected he wouldn't see a problem in it. And she wasn't entirely sure there was a problem either at that moment. "...say, Natsu, you know..." Erm...

"Mhm~ Of course~" Natsu answered without a shred of hesitation. IT was so simple really for him. If onyl that simplicity would run off on Lucy as well. She would be even happier than she already was usually whenever she would find him there in the morning with her.

"Yeah?" He asked, encouraging Lucy to get whatever waws bothering her yet again, off of her chest.

Teach her your ways, Natsu!

No wait, don't. "I..." She paused, "I think the fireworks are about winding down." She said after a moment. Not what she wanted say by any means, but... it was difficult when he was this close. "S... should we head back?"

There's nothing to teach really. Just don't get worked up over silly things.

"Head back? I guess we can if you don't want to do anything else here." Natsu answered with a firm nod. IT was pretty simple in his opinion. While he enjoyed dancing and eating he came for Lucy and no other reason. So if she wanted to go back then he would gladly agree. But only if she was sure.

How does one do that even.

"Well..." It was ...really nice to sit there with his arm around her, but... urgh, she really had to tell him about Zeref, but it was such a nice peaceful moment, she knew it was going to get ruined the moment she said his name.

"... staying like this... I ...we probably shouldn't. After all..." She glanced up at the sky again, torn between staying in his hold and pulling away. "...what do you want to do?" She asked suddenly.

"And no fair saying, 'whatever you want to do'." She added. "I mean this entire night, we did what I want."

THe mention of Zeref would do more than just ruin the moment. Natsu's last run in with the dark mage had not been all that pleasant. Those ominous last words about giving him more despair.

"What I want to do? Well we did the dancing and the eating. I can't really think of anything else to do here. You're the royal party expert after all." Natsu answered, giving a small shrug of his shoulders.

Definitely not the right time to bring it up. Maybe not even tonight. Although Natsu might be a little peeved if she kept it from him for too long. Still, at his response, her shoulders slump a little.

She didn't know what she wanted him to say, but there was an odd sense of disappointment for some reason. Sighing silently, she pulled away, "...Then we should head back, since it's getting late anyway..." She mentally shook her head. Stop being weird, Lucy, jeez, you're going to freak your partner out.

She offered a quick, slightly awkward smile towards him. "Shall we go?"

Natsu narrowed his eyes instantly and pulled her back in close not letting her avert her eyes whatsoever.

"That's not what you mean. There's something else you wanna do. Out with it." He wasn't giving her a single chance to dodge that line of questioning.

Just as she was about to get up from the bench and make her escape, she's caught off guard when he pulled her back in and... and ohgod, was he even closer? "W..what are you saying?" She would really like to avoid his gaze, but he wasn't even letting her avert her eyes. So cruel! "T... there isn't .... there isn't anything else..."

Well. There IS one other thing, but... to be so up front about it? Ack. After all this wasn't a date...! Definitely not...

Nope this dragon was calling the princess' bluff whether she liked it or not.

"I don't believe you. Look me in the eye and say there's nothing else, Lucy." Good luck lying under the Flame Dragon King's emperor.

Nooo, no calling her bluff. WHY. WHY NOW. Looking him in the eye is the absolute -LAST- thing she wants to do, since she couldn't... she couldn't possibly lie to him. "N..Natsu, n.. not so close, okay...?" A little space maybe? How could he expect her to keep her cool looking him in the eye when he was this close, anyway? Come on, Lucy, you can do it. It's just a few words. But oh good god man, stop looking at her, it was too tempting.

Too bad for her that silence was not even an option. He wasn't going anywhere until he got an answer. So rather than loosen his grip he made sure she couldn't just slip out of his grasp.

"Tell me what's wrong. We're not leaving this place unless you've done everything you wanted."

This was bad. She might have to actually... ...

Well no, it wasn't -bad- but it might be awkward. Would be awkward. Definitely. Why did he have to pick -now- to get super observant and stubborn? "Natsu, I -" Could she get away with a kiss on the cheek? That's definitely not what she wanted to do. Gah, her blush wasn't going to go away anytime soon, and he was holding her firmly enough that she couldn't flee. "N.. nothing's wrong...I just...well..."

Oh wait! Right, she could just use the scarf! That'll make it a lot easier. She studied his face for a few second - maybe hoping to find a tiny bit of mercy? Maybe? ... and trying rather desperately not to get trapped in that spell he always wove over her without even knowing it.

"You're disagreeing with yourself." Natsu pointed out with a deadpan. Either she was going to get it all out in the open or else this scene was going to get even more attention to the two of them. Something which onyl added to the attention they already had from dancing.

Aurh. "F... fine. Just... don't..." think anything weird. Weirder than normal anyway. Honestly he had to be in rare form and so... so HIM today didn't he? How was she supposed to have gotten out of that situation, hrm? Not possible. She leaned forward that small bit of distance, hesitating a second, brown eyes darting briefly towards his lips, and then back up to his face before closing the rest of the way, her lips pressing brushing against his, lightly at first.

... .... CRAP she forgot the scarf.

"Hmm?" Seriously the way she kept leaving sentences unfinished was really not helping Lucy communicate what she wanted from the night still. But when she started moving, closer and closer, her eyes scanning his face before settling somewhere around his chin or so he thought.

And then she did something that he'd only imagined up to that point given how the last couple of times she'd put his scarf over his mouth. But this time either intentionally or not, she hadn't. So for the first time he felt the sensation of Lucy's lips on his own, and the jolt of...something coursed through his entire body from head to toe. Despite all of that though...he didn't pull away or push Lucy away.

It never does~! She oughta work on that or not. Her little mistake didn't register in her brain at first, the sensation of her lips against his - even lightly - was almost enough to fry her braincells. Surely it wouldn't be a bad thing to lean in a little more, wanting to feel a bit more of that contact with him, right?

Though even as she leaned forward more against him, there was something at the back of her head trying to get her attention, waving flags. Was there something she'd forgotten?

A bad thing? No not at all. Especially not with how he's starting to lean into Lucy more as well, pressing their lips together even more closely than when they started out. Natsu's eyes grew half-lidded and if it didn't stop soon he would close his eyes completely. Right there. Middle of the party grounds, kissing Lucy.

When he leaned into her, continuing that kiss, a soft purred hum escaped, almost inaudible if not for certain a dragonslayers heightened hearing. She wanted to kiss him, but she'd no idea how much she wanted it... or how much she wanted it to continue.

Fortunately -- or unfortunately for them both depending on your perspective -- their little spot of heaven was about to be intruded upon. Unintentionally, but intruded nonetheless as two women walk by, catching sight of the pair and giggle loudly. Loud enough to snap Lucy out of her pure delight, her eyes snapping open and breaking the kiss with a startled gasp. She'd lean away too, but he probably still wasn't letting her go, huh?

And boy was LUcy ever beet red. Ack ack. Not only had she forgotten to pull his scarf in the way but... ... but she still wanted to kiss him. Augh.

Again. Third party people had to interrupt their moment yet again. If his mind wasn't still reeling from what had just happened, Natsu would be feeling much angrier than annoyed as he was right now. Even so it was obvious that he wasn't going to get anything more out of Lucy.

"So...ummmm ready to go now?" Since this whole thing did start from the fact that there was something left undone and she did kiss him. SO maybe that counted?
